Okay sent off $90 to you about an hou. Zombies Kill.

Don't worry about the discount if it's only $20 or something.

1. What site are you asking about? If it doesn't automatically recognize them, you need to go to Tournaments -> Enter Results and adjust them manually.

2. We have quick-start documentation on our website in the PT3 section.

Thanks alot. I found the quick start documentation, very helpful. I play on FTP and only play stts and mtts. I would like to know if pt3 accurately keeps track of all my stats without me having to manually enter data for each stt and mtt that i play ??

I have the trial version of pt3 and have not been able to figure out the tournament tab.. the numbers don't make sense to me.

suggestions ??

I am clueless about postgreSQL.

Since I will no longer be using PT2 and a new database will be created for PT3, is it safe to just install ALL of my postgreSQL versions (to clean up space, etc) and just start fresh with v8.3?. Are the older versions required for anything else?

meh. once you get it it's actually much nicer/cleaner and easier to setup than PAHUD.

I really don't think this is it, because i'll bot up a table and only have like 16 hands on a person and then i'll look at the popup and i'll really have like 400. I wouldn't think that would just be from queries being executed faster than the table queries, but I could be wrong.

but the HUD isn't showing the right stats (i have the commercial version and registered)

as you can see the stats in the pop up menu (correct stats) do not match the stats displayed on the table. Same thing with other players i have several hundred hands on must players but most players say i only have like 20 hands on them on the HUD

As this appears to get data from an external source are the sites ok with it? I am guessing this is why you don't actually get player specific stats except from our own DBs but just curious if it has been approved?

Have you tried editing the default popup? It took me about 20 minutes just to change a few stats in there, and I gave up after that.

I think I prefer PAHUD in that you can have a different set of stats for different table sizes. Right now in PT3's HUD, you have to use the same set of stats for all tournaments (9max, 6max, and 2max).

Stupid question time... how do I get the HUD started???

I have PT3 open and running, I can access the HUD configuration options, I am playing on a table in Full Tilt, but no HUD starts-up automatically and I can't find an option anywhere in PT3 to get the HUD going...

HUD in FT SNG has no stats, I can see the HUD and the popup has all the stats.

Is this problem known?

On Auto-Import tab --> start hud (or start hud automatically)

Heres the response I got from Stars RE Table Tracker:

Quote:
Our policy for a long time has been that tools that work from a central
database of player profiles are not allowed. All data about players at
your
table must come from hands that you have previously played, and not
from a
shared database.

We are not opposed to PokerTracker's Table Tracker feature in
principle, and
there's no reason it could not be adapted and permitted. However, it
would
have to forgo any central database for PokerStars, and work using only
data
from your own database of hands. These restrictions apply to all other
programs of this type.

The developers of PokerTracker are free to contact us at any time, and
we
will gladly work with them to ensure that the Table Tracker feature
complies
with the rules.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Alex S
PokerStars Game Security

I thought Table Tracker did only use data from your own database of hands. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding/miscommunication?

Sweet thanks. Why does the auto-import have to be enabled to run the HUD? And what is PT3 now auto-importing? I've already manually imported my hand histories, but the auto-importer is running for some reason.

Also, how do you define custom stats? Specifically I'm interested in a cold-call pre-flop % stat and not the built-in total number of cold-calls. Does anyone know how to do this?

Auto-import is just waiting for new handhistories, you can turn it off now.

Custom stats is a bit of a hassle, try the Custom Statistics Guide: http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT3/docs/

Were you running PT3 at the time you tried to install? If so, close PT3 first and then run the install again.

If not, then I'm thinking your two options are:
1) Install PostgreSQL by itself
2) Uninstall and reinstall PT3 (the package including PostgreSQL)

I would suggest the 2nd option.

I see a lot of posts about people getting confused over what PGSQL is or whether or not it's needed. I wonder if they could just make it all a single install package that checks if PGSQL is already installed, and then installs it if it isn't. The whole setup is a bit different from PT2 because with PT2 that's all you needed, but now with PT3 you need PT3 plus a DBMS.

I think it's a good rule of thumb that if someone doesn't know what PostgreSQL is, then it's almost guaranteed that they don't have it installed, and therefore need to get the installer that comes with PGSQL. I think it wouldn't be a bad to put that on the download page so that new users don't get too confused over the different download options.

I want to send you my money. Please work on support for additional sites.

I'm trying to get my proper discount, but it's only giving me the discount for PAHUD, which is -$5.

I also owned PT2 for a year so I should get that too, but when I try to link my account on your site it doesn't recognize anything even though I know I bought PAHUD the same time as PT2.
05-16-2008 , 02:45 PM
I didnt realize we got more then the $5.00 discount as a previous PT2 owner. So I paid for PT3 last night around 2:30am and 11 hours later have yet to receive any sort of registration code.

WHat discount is given to prior PT2+PAHUD owners and is there a big delay in getting out the codes? I sent an email to PT support a few hours ago and havent heard anything either.
