This is really dependent on your computer. It gives you an estimated time when it's exporting and you can cancel at any time.

Does it work on any of the reports, or are they all not being filtered?

Indeed. Isn't this possible in the normal PT3 hud? 'N/A' takes a lot of space.
I know it was possbile in PAHUD.

Unfortunately it's been a while since I did my exports from PT2. It will take a while for a database of that size.

From the last imports I was doing, I was getting 90-100h/sec on imports, for what that's worth.

But yes, Utilities -> Export to file, pick a blank directory and export to there. PT3 has an "Import from directory" button the Manual Import tab (manual imports are for bulk imports and MUCH faster than autoimporting), so a blank directory will make things easier later.

We've decided to keep this monster thread in Software, so those of you who like to browse this forum won't have to visit our separate forum to see what's new.

Welcome back

For those who haven't seen it, here's the release announcement:

PokerTracker Software, LLC. is proud to announce the commercial release of PokerTracker™ 3 Holdem.

What is PokerTracker?
PokerTracker is a software package that is used as an aid to the online poker player. It tracks wins and losses, as well as compiling a multitude of statistics on all aspects of a player's game. From common items, like how often the player chooses to put money into the pot, to more obscure stats like how often a player wins a pot when he check raises the turn. Play on multiple sites? Not a problem. PT3 supports a variety of popular online poker sites, and you can combine your results from each individual site into one screen name in PokerTracker to make keeping track of your results much easier.

PokerTracker allows you to find hands with a wide variety of filters. Find hands where you flopped a flush draw, or a set, or even overcards. Find hands where you were check raised or 3 bet. With a built-in hand replayer, you can play back these hands in an online table simulation to get a feel for the action. Want to see how your money grew over time? View one of the graphs that PokerTracker offers. Want to know how you do in certain positions? PokerTracker makes that information easily available to you.

PokerTracker 3 also provides you with a built-in Hud. A Hud (Heads up display) displays your opponents' statistics on the poker table as you play. Now you'll know if that player who keeps raising you is really a maniac, or if he's just hitting a lucky string of cards. Don't guess what kind of opponents you are up again - KNOW.

That's just a small sample of what PokerTracker 3 offers. Visit the website to get more information and to download or register.

For a limited time, each new PokerTracker 3 purchase will have the choice of receiving FREE licenses for PokerTracker 2 and PokerAce Hud.

PokerTracker Software, LLC. is also proud to announce the unveiling of TableTracker, a server-based table selection service built right in to the PokerTracker 3 interface.

What does it do?
TableTracker shows you what tables are currently running and who is sitting at those tables. It then uses your PokerTracker 3 databases to show you stats on those players. You use those stats to determine which tables would be most profitable for you to play at.

How does it work?
You simply enter your criteria and then start the search. There's no need to open any of the poker clients. The TableTracker servers keep track of tables for you. Once you find a table you want to sit at, open the client, find the table and sit down.

Who should use it?
Anyone who wants to make more money at the tables! By avoiding tables with solid players and sitting at tables with poor players, you give yourself the best opportunities to win.

How much does it cost?
The TableTracker service requires a monthly fee. Visit the website for pricing information. Each new purchase of PokerTracker 3 receives a free month of TableTracker.*

*TableTracker subscriptions will be accepted shortly. We are still working out the kinks in our subscription handling services. Enjoy the free month!

================================================== =============
Existing PokerTracker 3 Beta Users. Please read the following.
================================================== =============

The trial version has several restrictions. The most restrictive one being that it is not able to add, delete or edit databases. PT3 will create a default database at first startup and you'll be forced to use it. If you purchased and have a registration code, enter it in the nag screen that appears when you launch PT3. It will then notify you that you need to create a new database. Keep in mind that your databases are not deleted by PT3, you just simply can't access them in the trial version.

There is no hand cap in this release. This way, those of you who have performance issues will be able to determine if they have been fixed before purchasing. We are also offering an extended trial period of 60 days.

This is not the end of PT3 development. FAR from it. We have a lot of great new features planned, and we will continue to work hard to bring them to you in a timely manner.

My date filter is also not working. When I chose specific date, it shows all the data anyway.

Edit: This applies to the commercial release.

This was a bug I introduced at the last minute. I'll get it fixed ASAP.

The replayer will be getting a major overhaul, including Hud stats.

1) Why is 'Logging Enabled' on as default?

2) Congrats.

Please add hotkeys for stepping between hands with PU/PD and stepping between moves with the arrrows, like in PT2.

SpadeEye needs the pokerclient to read all the tables and the players at that table, TableTracker has a serverside list of tables and players.

SpadeEye can open up tables for you (for datamining purposes).

hi, regarding the hud,

are you gonna implement the autoresizing-fonts soon? you said it would be in beta 9, but it's still not in.
i'm using very small tables and very big ones, so the hud is all over the place at small tables, but too small at the big tables.

also, it's really annoying to have to have a table open to adjust your layout. i'd love to have the old layout manager where you could adjust your stats pixel-wise and not just roughly for each player.

Greetings, ThomasBB

I've reported basically identical bugs after both the beta 10 and beta 11 and yet here they are again....

GAME #968255342: Texas Hold'em NL $2.00/$4.00 2008-05-06 02:23:20
Table Baku

Seat 6: sainsy1 ($192.70 in chips)
Seat 9: oxoLTZoxo ($76.20 in chips)
Seat 10: tamasri ($296.00 in chips)
Esoxen: Post SB $2.00
FelixFelicis: Post BB $4.00
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to tamasri [CK HK]
Dealt to Hero [HA CA]
sainsy1: Fold

tamasri: Raise $16.00
billyjoe21: Fold
Hero: Raise $50.00

*** TURN *** [SK]
*** RIVER *** [CJ]
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $715.00 Rake $3.00
Hero: wins $120.00
tamasri: wins $595.00

This is a loss of 296 (opponent's effective stack) as reported by PT2, not $346 as reported by PT3. Once again, my $50 raise preflop is being double-counted for some reason.

GAME #979987807: Texas Hold'em NL $5.00/$10.00 2008-05-14 01:30:45

*** FLOP *** [H8 D5 S3]
*** TURN *** [D9]
*** RIVER *** [D3]
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $247.00 Rake $3.00
Hero: wins $247.00

The win is $127 (120 effective stacks + 10 BB - 3 rake), as reported by PT2, not $132 as reported by PT3. The opponent is in the small blind. That means you don't have to count the small blind. I know, tricky, isn't it. I reported an identical bug for one of the betas, don't remember which.

This is not good enough in a release version. I just paid $90 for this thing under the assumption that things like this had been ironed out. How many more times am I going to have to recreate my database because of trivial bugs like this which manifestly are the result of inadequate testing? I keep uncovering these bugs about 5 seconds after my database finishes importing. How come you haven't caught them? If you want my PT2 database as test data you can have it.

i dont know if its been said before as its hard to read through the thread, but is there anyway to adjust the hud layout?
im a full ring player and i want to be able to have the stats surrounding the player names instead of one big long box of stats.

Right-click to move them around, click the PT icon at the top to customize the stats themselves.

Cool. Hopefully stars will loosen up a bit with 'TableTracker' pointing the sharks off to other sites. Maybe they should call it TableTAGer, guaranteed to ruin any potentially good table :P

I just sent the following e-mail to vip@pokerstars.com. If you want to see Table Tracker there, you can copy/paste it and send it along:

The newest version of Pokertracker was released today. I was shocked and appalled to find that your site would not allow itself to be a part of the Table Tracker feature. EVERY other site supported by Pokertracker3 (including Full Tilt) is a part of Table Tracker. I'm extremely disappointed in your decision, and I hope you will forward my concern to the appopriate department. As a high-volume player, compatability with Table Tracker might influence my decison as to where I focus my play in the future.
