To be fair though, a lot of the bugs in the last beta have been fixed for the next release. There will still be a little bit of lag in the Hud and there will always be the odd bug here and there, but for the most part, we feel it's pretty stable for most users.
Look I agree that the current state is not perfect HOWEVER it's certainly at a point where I'll be more than happy to pay for it right now. I've already stopped using the old PT altogether.

I say go for it.

yeh exactly, why would anyone NOT want it released tomorrow. Surely it's going to be much better than the beta version your running now so why not take the upgrade instead of pushing it back a few more weeks?

What time is this getting put out, midnight, or some time during the day tomorrow?

Nvm.

I don't plan on buying PT3 right away. I want to keep my database though. I exported my database to my desktop and plan on saving my hand histories until I buy it. This should work, right? Or will this database not be compatible with future PT3 versions?

This is easy. Just click Filters, then General>Session Dates.

You're talking about PT3 right? Filters button is near the top right of the main window.

Is your only payment option right now PayPal. Something is wrong with my paypal account and it is not letting me process payments. Any poker site xfers? Can I get a friend to pay through paypal and then register it to my PT account?

We can't say for sure. It depends on a lot of factors. I'm hoping for an earlier release, but you never know.

You should keep your hand histories instead of the actual database. The next release requires a new database, so your current database won't work properly.

I don't think anyone is saying they don't want a new version tomorrow. I think what some people (including myself) had hoped was that there would be another beta version that verified some of the major bugs got fixed before we had to pay for a final version.

If you are having problems with the current beta, please take advantage of the trial period. There are a few restrictions, but none that will prevent you from seeing if the performance issues are resolved.

These are just the hand histories in my processed folder right? Will the date I played these hands be saved?

Sorry if this is a dumb question I just want to make sure.

I'm not a beta tester, so I don't have a PT3 database yet.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

Go into the Database Management control panel, and Export all your HHs from the Database(s). Then Archive/Save those files on some external media, or other partition, etc.

If that export function in Database management is to save hand histories, how do i save a database?

Then you won't have to deal with creating new databases.

I did misunderstand. If you exported the hands from your database, you will be fine. Just re-import them when you're ready.

What version of SQL is required?
