Three things:

My HUD seems to randomly disapear on tables at times and come back a few minutes later, is there any potential reason for this?

Could you add the HUD stats into the hand replayer?

Do you plan to add note taking capability to the HUD (which can then be edited in PT3)?

Whenever I have the HUD running tables pop-up all over the place at random. It seems to be at the end of hands usually, it might be the stats refreshing or something. I 20 table sometimes so this is a huge problem and keeps me from being able to use it all together.

I might just be a ****** and have something configured wrong, but I can't seem to figure out anything that will fix it.

This happens to me too, though not as often as you indicate - maybe 1-2 times per hour.

I am also having problems with disappearing HUD panels and LAG, though that seems to have diminished a good bit with Beta 11. However, the mucked cards and board cards aren't showing at all. I have the "Display" option selected - why don't the cards show up?

Yeah, they're not showing up consistently for me either -- I have to keep checking the HHs. Or if they do show up they lag, which is annoying since by then I don't care about them

If this has alredy been discuss feel free to ignore:
In the HUD when choose not to show the stats for Hero i still get the seperators and the prefix and sufix for those stats for hero, it would be great if nothing showed at all.

Also i havn't find how i make Partypoker table six-max directly i always have to change when i open a new table? Is there an easyer way?

Donk flop stats are coming. With the Hud, you'll be able to define variable profiles to use with different types of tables.

I'm still working on the disappearance problems. The Replayer will definitely be getting stats, and notes will be editable from the Hud.

Someone else had the translucency slider all the way to clear, which was preventing the cards from showing. Could this be your problem?

Are you using Beta 11? It should solve that problem. Defaulting to 6 max isn't available yet, but it will be.

What's the difference between the Rake and MGR stat on the summary page? Which one is more accurate if trying to figure out rakeback?

I suppose maybe a rakeback field/function where you define your % by player like HM does would be a really nice solution.

Rake is your contributed rake (the rake from hands you won). MGR is the sum of (rake / players) for each hand you play. MGR is more accurate for rakeback.

We plan on adding bankroll management to PT3, and rakeback and bonus tracking will be a part of that.

It would be nice to be able to distinguish turbo from non-turbo tournaments.

I'll see if I can do it sometime soon.

Another question though I had this conversation with a mod from the Pokertracker forums and he wasn't really certain about the answer. Will PT3 eventually have a built in EV Grapher? Something like PokerEV currently does?

Yes, we will have EV functionality built into PT3.

anyone else getting a huge lag on party w/ the hud? i can play and autoimport no problems but as soon as i click hud everything goes to total lag/freeze up mode

downloading latest version (beta 11) and i get this

It's very faster to compare 2 numbers (pot odds payed and pot odds got e.g. for flush) than compute it myself.
It doesn't need to aggregate the stats. Just separate odds for 2pair, trips, flush, straight, etc. would be enough.

The problem is that info is much harder to obtain during the hand, since the HHs are written only after the hand is finished.

Any plans for another beta before the 15th? If so I'm curious what is going to be included.

It's not looking good for those two features. Tournament support isn't as good as I wanted it to be for initial release. It's an area of the application I will be dedicating some time to after the commercial release.


Please reproduce this and attach your PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket.

Check the box that says "This database already exists", then click Connect.


It's unlikely the PT3 Hud will ever display pot odds, or anything else relating to the current hand.

I want to get a beta out Monday or Tuesday with OnGame support, and *maybe* a sneak peak at the new big feature we're adding.

Export the hands from the old (do this in the Database Management window), then re-import them into the new.

What kind of trial options will you have? I know that HM and PT2's trials are based on # of hands you're allowed to import, but since you mentioned that the cache feature won't be done by commercial release I really can't see myself buying PT3 until I know that the HUD performance will be good enough on my system on a big (multi-million hand) database.

did that and then got this: This is an older database. Imports and some reports may not work properly. Please create a new database.

then this was in the import status box. I am registered for a tournament gonna see if it will work anyway though.

Between Beta 9 and Beta 11 there has been a significant change to the database structure. You need to create a new database and re-import your old hands. The old database will no longer be supported.
