To add to the above, auto-import is primarily used to import your hands while you're playing. If you want to import your old histories you'd probably like to do this with manual import. Reading the quick start is a good way to get started.

Just wanted to add that i'm in the same boat as Vinetou. New HUD is totally bogging down my system when i'm playing 8 tables.. and if i hit "refresh" on the general tab, then thats pretty much asking for everything to crash. Everything is normal without the HUD running though.

Yeah, I wrote that horribly. I meant while playing and trying to auto-import, nothing ever imported. I tried some basic trouble shooting to figure out why (basically sifting through the PT site for 10-15 minutes) and got nothing. I used PT2 before so didn't really know what to think.

But... ROFL @ not telling PS to save my HHs. I did go through all of PS' options and stuff, but this slipped my mind. I normally play on FT, not PS, so... that's why, lawl.

I've made some improvements with the performance, so hopefully this won't be a problem much longer.

I need to know what my hourly is!

Maybe I spoke too soon.

Stats are saving, their layout is still there which is good, an improvement over beta 8. However when I change a color it does not save, and the HUD only pops up for 2 tables. One of the tables will not update, but one will work fine. The other 2 (I play 4 tables) the hud will not show up at all.

It is also taking a while for the HUD to show up, about 4 hands into the table.

HUD is not popping up when I am not playing hands at the table, I don't know if it's supposed to or not.

Also, in the hud, there is no abbreviation for what stat it is for a lot of the 3betting/cbetting stats. I don't know if these just aren't completed yet or what.

And will there be preflop stats available in the popup for the hud?

Do you mean the prefix that show up in front of the stats? If this is the case, you can change that in the HUD configuration; just select the stat and under the "Properties" tab you'll find "Prefix".
You can configure the popup by selecting the "Default pop-up" under groups and then going to stats, here you can then add/remove any stats you want.

Apologies if these are in there already or have been suggested before, but...

Some HUD suggestions:

1 - under 'group' and 'player stats' - separate translucency sliders for foreground and background

2 - Some form of global copy font attributes button

3 - Bigger mucked cards

4 - If I have the configure stats window open and then minimize the main PT3 window then the stats window minimizes too - not sure this should happen

5 - Simpler ways to color code stats, and/or make it easy to transfer color codes between different layouts

6 - Review last hand sems to do nothing?

HUD is excellent overall btw.

After I have played using the HUD and when I have closed the tables, I have several (usually > 5) "invisible windows" that are only visible in the list of open windows when I do alt+tab, but they are not listed in the task bar and the window itself is not visible anywhere. The title of these invisible windows is "PokerTracker3TableObject", and if I alt+tab to one of them it appears in the task bar and I can close it with Ctrl+F4.

Apart from this the HUD is great.

Sorry if this has already been posted but i am having a lot of trouble importing my sng tournament summaries from my email for Party Poker. What format are they supposed to be in and is it a matter of just cuting and pasting the summary into a .txt file ??? i have emailed pokertracker3 support and posted in the forum there but w/ no response.

I've got this problem. When i hit auto import, and i start tournament after first hand i got some error... then i have to click stop auto import and start it again, after that hud works fine. this didn't happen in recent version.

When i open a PP table, the HUD stats for each player is misplaced. My stats go under someone else's seat. Can i correct that?

Could you attach screenshots of both PT3's session by time and PT2's session tab to a support ticket?


1. So you're saying if you have stats in your database on a player, then they sit down at the table, PT3's Hud will only show you stats from the time they sat down and none from the other hands?

2. Did PT3 automatically configure your PokerStars settings, or did you have to do it manually?

If you change the color of one of the items, then move to another, then move back, is the color is back to the original and not what you changed it to?

Please reproduce the problem where the Hud won't recognize and update all your tables. Attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket. Make sure you give a detailed description of what happened during your session.


1. This is unlikely to happen, as it would be a huge resource hog.

Sorry to bring this up again but it's real important to me. How long before AP and UB support?

Also, any updating on my request of applying the filters across all tabs (i.e. filter # of players showing only those hands across all tabs).

In a 6-handed cash game tabel NL25, the HUD boxes are misplaced, they appear like i'm in a 10-handed game. I cant explain better unless i send an image, how do i do that?

This is a bit wishful, but I just thought I'd throw it out there. Could you make it an option to get rid of the totals line at the bottom of the hands tab?

The reason I ask, is that as a default I'd like to get rid of all stats regarding "amount won", "bb/100", etc, from everywhere in PT. This means that I can use PT to analyse my hands and play, without seeing how much I'm up for the day / week - which usually just tilts the **** out of me. I just want to turn these stats on at once a week / month to check my winnings (or losses )

It's fine on all the other pages, but on the hands page I want to keep the Amount Won column so that I can find big pots to check out my play. Unfortunately, this means that the totals line shows me my net.

You can create your own version of the Amount Won column that doesn't include a summary value and use that instead.

I play on stars and yes, the invisible windows appear every time.

Sounds like you can make me lot's of money by preventing me tilt. I'm just too dumb to understand it. I tried to add my own amount won column, but I still get a summary / total at the bottom.



Did I misunderstand?

I don't keep up too much with this thread, so i don't know if this has been discussed, but after a while of running multiple tables or hitting the refresh button (i havn't been able to pinpoint exactly what triggers it) this happens.

Whatever is opening is really bogging down the computer and this screenshot only shows a "lite" case of it. I've had many many more objects show up than this, upwards of like 25.

Any ideas?
