A glance at the "Session Results Graph" under the "Sessions" tab pinpoints sessions where (in my case) the wheels came off; in this case, hand #5. With some inconvenience, I can select the 5th hand, but when I press "Play Hands", playback positions itself at the last hand played. Would be nice if Playback would default to the hand highlite under "Session Hand" - Mike

i spent some time creating a layout for the new HUD on PT3, played a while.. came back later, opened pt3 back up and the layout was gone..

how do i save it?

Click on that icon on the table and then click "Save Layout".

I have postgreSQL installed on my computer. i am running vista and i installed the windows service pack and disabled UAC, just as it said to. however, now when i try to run PT3, the following message appears:

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

For the difference in hands, are you using the "My Day Starts At" option in both PT2 and PT3 and they're set to the same time? That might be the problem there.

So in the Sessions by Time report in PT3, it's showing your total hours as 51.28, where PT2 is saying your total hours are 36.449, correct? I just want to make sure I fully understand your problem.


That would be good, but better if you can extract the entire email. Forwarding creates a new message and basically just copies the content of the forwarded message, rather than including the whole email body.

I'm not sure what you mean... are you referring to the number of hands the player played? That stat is "Hands".


Currently you cannot add these stats to session statistics.

Play tournaments, Start->Run Telnet?

Can we select sessions somehow like we used to in PT2 by (ctrl-)double-clicking on them?

I used the "customize -> configure stats window" to color code some of the cash game stats. Is there a way to duplicate them to tournament games?

In the PAHUD Popup Stats you list as follows: Check Raise Flop 13 (1/8). In the PT3HUD you don't have the (1/8). If you see someone with a Check Raise Flop stat of 100% it would be helpful to know the number of opportunities he had to check raise. I might be missing something here but the Fold to Flop Bet Stats in the POPUP appeared to be way off. They were only showing up as 1-2%.

I got the HUD all setup, but it's not updating stats for anybody. Does it only update every xx number or something?

I just played about 5 orbits or so at a table, and no changes happened in any body's stats

I plan on adding the values that make up the percentage to the popup stats. There are a few stats that seem off. I'll be looking into them to see what's going on.


Do you have the Hud reading from large databases or lots of databases? If so, the queries may be taking a while to complete. This shouldn't be an issue in the next release, as I am adding refresh rates like PA Hud has.


We're aiming for mid-May, and we're doing everything we possibly can do to make it by then.

How do you configure HUD? I see how you can use it but how I do Import different layouts, etc?

There is no import/export functionality just yet.

How do you get the Pop Up stats to pop up. I have them set to Pop Up Use Only and no matter where I click on the stats on the table the pop ups do not come up.

If I change them to any of the Show On Table settings the pop up is permanently displayed covering the table and won't go away.

I'm using Vista if that makes any difference.

On the group you want to use the popup on, change the Popup: setting to the popup group. Once you apply your changes, anytime you left click on that group, the popup will appear.

Both set to Midnight.

FWIW, in sessions tab of PT3 when I make it sessions by table I have 216 hours, sessions by time is 51 hours.

I just downloaded the Beta version (have never used any previous versions), and I don't know if I am doing something wrong....

1 - every session I start - the stats reset. for some reason the program isn't recalling information about players from previous sessions. Can anyone tell me what I need to do so it remembers?

2 - I play at pokerstars. If I am seated (for example) right beside the dealer. Sometimes my stats will be somewhere different... and all the other players stats will also be shifted. I can manually move the stat-bar.. but sometimes it resets and I have to move them all over again. The only solution is to move my seat to where my stats are... but sometimes this is inconvenient if i am multi tabling.

Does anyone have any ideas?

When I run the HUD, the lag makes it unplayable when I play on more than 4 tables. I play on FullTilt. Is there anything I can try to reduce the lag ?

My hands won't import at all when I run auto-import for Poker Stars.

Have you ever told pokerstars client to save your hand histories?
