any database changes from beta 8?
i.e. do i need to export&reimport

I would like to point out that as I am entering my tourney results, I noticed a few things.

1. The rake from any level of hu sng is seen as 0.00

2. When using the autofill option, when I get in the money, sometimes I it does not finish autofilling, leaving the top few places as 0.00 (i.e. no one getting a payout)

3. Again when using the autofill option, sometimes pt3 crashes and i have to reopen it.

Edit: crash seems to happen pretty often, probably about every 10 times I use the autofill button.

The auto-fill will only work properly on 9 and 10 seated SnGs at this time.

Thats all I'm using it with. 9-man on ftp

PT3 lacks proper tournament support. If you play tournaments,
then you should stick with PT2. It appears that even after the
official release, PT3 will not be providing equivalent functionality
as PokerTracker for tournament players.

Frankly, I don't quite understand how a company can release a
"new improved" version, and charge extra money, for something
which lacks the basic functionality of the old program.

This is bad business, in my opinion.

Is there a way of running the auto fill on a batch of SNGs instead of one at a time?

Ive got thousands of SNGs, and going through all of them individually and clicking the drop down for table type then autofill would take me days.

i cant move the stats around just by draging them anymore. how do i move them? they seat 2's stats cover the bet pot button on FT

You mentioned HU SnGs, so I assumed that's what you were importing.

The auto fill only works up until the point where the tournament ends for you, unless you have the remaining hands of the tournament imported. The next time it crashes, please attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket, before you restart PT3.


I'm not sure what you're talking about. PT3's tournament support is nearly identical to PT v2's. There may be a few minor features missing or not fully complete, but nothing major. What is PT3 missing that you need?

You also need to keep in mind that that commercial release is not the final release. We will continue to expand PT3's functionality for years after the initial commercial release.

How do you color code the stats in the HUD? I can see that some stats are color coded in the default pop-up (Net $ Won and BB/100), but can't seem to find a setting for it?!

Just wanted to say PA (and RVG for that matter) have the patience of saints, IMO. I would have to kill at least 1 kitten after I answered the same 5 questions 50 different times.

Is it possible for the HUD to only display after a certain number of hands? For example, I only want a players stats to show after 25 hands etc.

HUD is lagging on stars. am I the only one?

You can configure it by going to the Customize -> Configure Stats window and editing the colors there. You can color code by any conditional expression you want. The next beta version will have a simpler, by value color range like PA Hud has.

This will be in the next beta version, along with some filters.

How many tables are you playing? Does changing the transparency of the groups to Solid help any? In the task manager, how much CPU is PokerTracker.exe using?

it works fine with two tables, but anything more, it lags, I played 9 tables and it lagged so much I just couldn't play it. It only showed stats on two tables, but I guess I should wait a bit more and they would pop up at other tables, I just couldn't take this lagging.

I will donk around with HUD at 5NL right now, I can't take this lagging at midstakes. will let you know. No one seems to have a LAG issue.

Hmm, I'm very confused. What exactly should I do to color code say PF 3bet %?

Also, can we have squeeze % in the HUD?

And finally could you PLEASE let the next version keep current HUD settings so that we don't have to redo it all?

How do I remove a stat from the HUD? Say I want to remove the player name stat from the default group?

Please reproduce this and attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket. Be sure to include a description of your problem.

You're probably best off waiting for the next beta version. Color coding will be easy in it.

Squeeze stats are coming. The information is in the database, we just haven't had a chance to add the stats.

Just wanted to tell everyone about the hover over a persons stat feature. Say you have a villian at your table that you have 5k hands on. You can hover over one of their stats and get the value of that stat for that session. Pretty cool and helpful imo.

PT3 messes up my hours played (I think only when it crosses over midnight). For example, if I start a session at 10 PM, and end at 1 AM, it will say 4 hours played.

Just a little bug. When "infinite symoble" is on, prefixes disappears...

When I made a new group and add stats to it, the group it disappears if I add more stats to it.

If I stop the hud and restart it, only the Player stats and default popup show under the groups. I have tried several times and with two or three extra groups.
