will my imported hand histories be lost once the commercial version is released?

if i buy PT2 now and have already bought PA Hud a while ago, will I have to pay anything on top?

If you import into PT3 saving the hand histories, they are in your database and you can export them. If you're asking if you'll have to re-import, the answer is yes, because there are some database changes coming soon.

If PT3 is released within 2 months you'll recieve 100% discount for your PT2+PAH towards the price of PT3.

Would it be possible to automate this conversion? It seems like if all the HHs are in DB1, one should be able to click a button that replaces DB1 with DB2 in the new format.

For every change AFTER the initial commercial release, we plan on having the upgrading automated, but for the beta versions, this won't be available.

This release contains a lot of changes and bug fixes to the Hud. You now have more options in configuring the Hud, such as translucency, mucked cards options and different type of groups (everyone BUT hero, hero only, table averages). You also have popups. Left click on a group that has a popup set to get it. Right click and drag to move a group now. Because of some bug fixes, you won't be able to keep your existing layout from the previous beta. I apologize to those of you who spent any significant time creating a layout. Stability should be greatly improved in this version as well as lower resource usage. You can also now tell the Hud which databases to read from (it's in the PT Icon -> Configure Statistics window, Hud Options tab).

There have also been some changes made to tournament support. The bugs causing reports not to filter correctly have been fixed among other things. Also added, on the Tournaments -> Enter Results window, is the Auto Fill button. When you select a single table SnG and click this button, it will go through the hand histories for the tournament, determine the order the players busted out and enter the appropriate data for you. Also in the Enter Results window is the option to show only those tournaments needing results, and complete filter support so you can filter by any criteria you want.

I apologize if I forget anything, but it's late and I've been up for a very long time.

The next beta should have iPoker support. Speaking of new site support, I'll quote my post from last time:

Please send us your hand histories! The more we get, the faster you get reliable site support. We've gotten several people sending hand histories in, but not nearly enough. Please know that your data will not be shared or sold to anyone, but the histories will only be used for our private, internal development.

Is it just me or is auto-import fairly slow for any decent volume of hands? I haven't run PT3 in a couple days (still using PT2 as my main tracker) so I had a mix of played and datamined hands to import; I started an auto-import 30 mins ago and it's only done 6k hands in that time.

goofyballer, yup. auto-import is *much* slower than manual import for me as well. I guess auto-import should be used only in real-time. whereas manual should be used for batch import.

I am not sure the reason behind it however.

Full Tilt 6max tournaments and sit n gos come up as 9 max and the stats are misplaced

in earlier version i could move stats in HUD by dragging them around. but now is fixed on the one spot. i play only heads up on full tilt. how can i move stats where i want? and is there an option to configure layout when you are not in the game, like in PAHUD?

First off - Loving PT3 and the improvements made from PT2.

One thing that annoy me is the fact that I need to press refresh to for instance update the sessions tab. At the very least there should be a setting to make it auto refresh.

New hud is awesome. started off great with 4 or so tables, however when I'm 16 tabling, it was ok for a bit then I was having some serious problems with lag, then the screen went berserk. The screen colours were all over the place, then PT crashed.
