crap, the location of the PT logo on the stars tables has disabled the betpot script..

Ok - first up, when I open mt PT3 it takes about 10 minutes to get all my data up. It brings up all the hands I have ever played (250k)
How do I just get yesterdays stats as 10 minutes seems too long every time I want to open PT3.

Also, I open up tables on Party and no HUD appears. I have gone through a few posts and cant see any indication of how I open it.

It would be just awesome tohave even more situation specific stats on HUD/PT not only those "against me" stats (great term I know... ;-))

Try clustering your database. For 250k hands, it should only take 10-20 seconds at most to bring up your General tab with all your stats.

For the Hud on Party, you have to sit and play a hand before Party will write hands to disk and PT3 can read them.


"Against me" stats are something I'm not too wild about because at best they can be misleading (what if the guy datamines). As for the other, you can make that a custom stat and add it to the Hud.

Is the stat Cbet Turn the same thing as double barrel ? Also, I have issues with the HUD: stats are not updated when a player leaves a table and is replaced by another, and also stats do not appear on every table opened, only on a couple of them.

I think it would be very useful to know "against me" stat in relation to the number of hands on the villain.

Yesterday I went to open up my pt3 but was told that the version I had had expired and that I had to download the newest version. I uninstalled the one i had and went to download the new version on the pt website. After saving it to my computer, I go ahead to intall it. Installation goes on as usual. I go to open the software and am prompted to install PostgreSQL. I hit the install button and towards the end of the installation process, it tells me it can no longer continue and goes on the rollback it's actoions. I am then left with a little window asking me to create a new PostgreSQL database. All the requirements all filled in automatically so I click the create button. This message then pops up:

"Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?"

I double check the host and the port and both are fine. I don't know what is wrong or how to fix this. Anyone else experience this? Know how to fix this?

Why did you uninstall the old version? That's not necessary. Did you uninstall PostgreSQL too when you uninstalled it?

Any ETA on automatically resizing the text? The HUD looks pretty sweet to me, but the combination of big text + stats in the wrong place makes it a real pain to use when you don't have enough screen space to use full-sized tables.

Also, it's it's a little slow for me. I'm on a weird system, though: MacBookPro + Parallels. I can send along more details if you want, but I'm probably not quite the guy you're optimizing for.

Yeah, cosign this question. The HUD text size is great for I table but when you resize them it clutters over other stats.

my observed hands arent importing on Stars or FT - any suggestions? I have the box checked that says "import observed hands"

is there anyway i can work/design the HUD while NOT in the program itself? it's pretty dififcult to be playing and adjusting your HUD on the fly. preferabbly working on the layout while i'm not playing poker...thanks

When i open a table, the little pt symbol is there, and it displays what people had after each hand. But there are no stats no matter what i do, please help?

Resizing tables will hopefully be supported in the next release.

I'm waiting to worry about Mac computers after we release the native Mac version.

PT3 will not import PokerStars observed hands at this time. For Full Tilt, make sure you have PT3 reading from the Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory directory and not your user name directory.

Sounds like a reasonable plan to me . FWIW, it's certainly useable for 4-tabling. It seems to slow things down particularly when I close a table, but that's something I can live with.

just downloaded poker tracker 3 beta and imported hh
and it shows all of my hu sng as lost games wtf???
anybody know how to fix it? i play mainly 4 man sng on stars and full tilt

You'll need to manually enter the results by going to the Tournament menu and choosing Enter Results.

Just found out I can't play 6max and full ring at the same time without the stats being out of place. Seems like saving stats works only for sng or cash, and not the number of players.

Since your reply to Flintoff only addressed his performance concerns - will you be implementing this?
