Is it possible that you can add a function to the HUD that let you find the table manually. Gametime+ and Holdem Mananger have it, it's the "drag the finder tool" to the table you want the stats on.

The reason is that I play on merge gaming network and I'm using a handconverter so I can import them into PT. But HUD dosent find my tables probably beacuse they are named diffrent from party poker. But if I you had the "finder tool" I could get by until(if?) you will support merge gaming network.

There will be a table finder added to the Hud functionality. I can't say for sure when it will be available though.

any idea on the cost yet? or around how much everything will be? Or are you just going to wait for the release for that information to become available.

edit: erm, i might be wrong. It seems that the only info is regarding the discount you'll get if you have purchased PT2.

is there a guide to setting up the HUD, because
1) i want to be able to turn off where it shows the last hand because it's very annoying to me
2) it inteferes with betpot script and makes it bet the wrong amount sometimes
3) it's seriously tilting me because the boxes dont seem to remember where i put them even after i press save and redo it

We have not released this information yet. It will be very comparable to the cost of PT2 and PA Hud.

3. If, after making changes and clicking Save in the PT icon menu, you then click Reset, does it use your newly saved layout or does it go back to using the old layout?

thanks for the quick response. it is more complicated than that, though. if i adjust it for 6tabling, I guess it will stay like that, although the showdown thign I was talking about will still show up offcenter (no matter how I adjust it). but then when i wanna do 4-tabling, it's all over the place etc. i liked how it was auto adjusted for 1-tabling a lot but i can't seem to replicate it for more tables

Nice job with PT3 and the Hud so far.

IMHO, don't worry about a full release yet. Nobody should be complaining about this as beta is free. At the very minimum PT3 should have everything PT2 and PAHUD has and be stable before it is release. The rest of these new features are just gravy after that.

There are a couple more features PT2 and PAHUD have that are not yet present in PT3. I am waiting these before I fully switch over to PT3 but you are getting close. If I am not ready to fully switch over yet, I can't imagine a full release being a good idea at this point unless we are still allowed to use PT2 and PAHUD after the release.

Now that the most difficult items are mostly taken care of, progress will be made much quicker. We should have no problems having a commercial quality release by mid-May at the latest.

I haven't beta test or even looked at how importing hands works but a suggestion:

Have a universal hand importer. I hate having to open an import window for each site and then occasionally not have it importing because another window is already running an import.

Maybe I didn't elaborate enough. I auto import my cash game and tournament hands into PT2. I manually enter the tournament results after the tournament. Now that you've implemented the HUD I'm going to switch over to PT3. I used my Stars processed hand history file to manually import my hands into PT3. The hands downloaded flawlessly and the cash games perfectly reflect my results in PT2. However, the tournament results are totally incorrect. I would like to delete the tournaments in PT3 and start fresh with them and leave the cash game results. Is there a way to delete the tournaments in PT3?

You can make PT3's Hud look identical to PA Hud's. Simply use multiple groups and add only one stat per group.


All imports are handled in one tab. You can auto-import from multiple sites with no problems.


You cannot selectively purge data from the database yet. This functionality should be available prior to the commercial release.

Long story short - I accidently blew out my hand histories (only about 1600 since i just started playing on STARS) when installing the new version. Got my HHs from Pokerstars but not sure how to load them in PT. Its probably simple. Didnt see an answer to this anywhere earlier in the thread.

What do you guys plan on doing for popup stats when you scroll over or click on a particular stat? (btw making that customizable would be incredible).

Would be great to have something like "against me" (no not the band...) stats:
Stats of a player playing against me HU.
Preferably right on the HUD (maybe with an option to swich between general and "Against me" stats) and in the database.
This could be helpful i.e. to exploit weeknesses (esp. of regulars) or to see if he chanches his play wehen playing against me (maybe he found a weekness in my play and now i can fix/counter it).

wow, is there any kind of template/guide to the HUD? without documentation this is one of the hardest pieces of software to utilize...

the fact that none of the stats have preset names/ or anything is kind of difficult to use...

Please, consider adding session stats as well as overall stats for the HUD!!

Are you able to conditional format the stats like you could with PAHud? (I would make fish stats green etc...)

There need to me a "main menu" like there was with PAHud that had the summary for all tables(necessary to find good tables)

There needs to be a lot more options like PAHud (filter stats for 4+ handed (excludes very short handed play to keep from skewing), show stats for people with 25+ hands only, having the option to show stats for only last 1k hands etc..)

Save the hand histories to disk, then in PT3's Manual Import screen, click the Import Files button and select the hand history files.


Popup stats are going to be incredibly customizable.


There's no schedule for the iPoker beta release, but if I had to guess, I'd guess in about 3 weeks.


What part are you finding difficult? To configure your stats, and click on the PT icon, select Configure Statistics. In the window, double-click stats on the left list to add them to the group, double-click the stats on the right list to remove them.


There is a Start/Stop Hud button on the Auto-Import window.


If you hover your mouse over any of the stats in the Hud, it will show you the value for the current session in the tooltip.


Conditional formatting is definitely going to be added, as well as the table list. Remember, this is the initial release of the beta. It's not nearly complete yet.

Is there a way to change the opacity of the background color behind the stats on the hud? I'm having trouble seeing where the BTN is sometimes because its blocked by stats.
