there needs to be a way to change the text attributes of multiple items at a time.

Currently the HUD is showing my stats. I don't mind this that much, but I'd prefer to have it off (and show hero's stats elsewhere away from my cards.

I'm not sure if this is currently intentional behavior, but I just wanted to mention so that you can have a note to add a checkbox to make it configurable later

Also:

I have an opponent on one of my tables now that has VPIP 16, PFR of 9 and a CCPF of 55. That seems like it shouldn't be possible . . . does CCPF not divide by hands? 55/3455 gives a 1.5% CCPF which makes a lot more sense . . .

I installed the new version, and when I try to open PT3 it sais 'there is already a version of PT running'....and I can't open the programm. What should I do?

Another thing, when will the final version of PT3 be out for sale cause I'm waiting for so many months now. I'm really tempted to buy HM.

Both of your questions were just answered (again) earlier today. Try using the 'Search This Thread' feature. Or just scroll up a little bit.

*To be nice - the important question you asked, your PT3 error - you need to Stop all occurrences of PokerTracker in the Task Manager.
04-14-2008 , 02:16 AM
What is Task manager?

Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL

Bingo!

And look in the Processes tab. IIRC the Applications tab doesn't show anything more than the taskbar does.
04-14-2008 , 02:49 AM
aha....ok thanks. So I ended some kind of process and now I can start it but now I have to configure POSTgreQCL or so. And I need to fill in a password. I can install something but that doesn't work cause i need to use a MSI file and I don't know what that is...

The stats aren't supposed to change in size depending on the size of your table right?
I think u mentioned that wasn't fixed yet
cu the font, in part because of the black box being there, seems way to big for my tables when I'm 8 tabling

You must provide tournament support before releasing this
product. That is much more important than the HUD, for which
other alternatives exist.

Disagree. I don't play tournies and would much rather have the built in HUD.

I think PT3 (or any application) has to be 99.99% bugfree before releasing it. I'd rather wait an extra few weeks if that means version 1.0 of PT3 is absolutely stable and with at least the same features as PT2.

Toying around with PT3 sure is a lot of fun, but I'm not going to depend on a beta-product.
04-14-2008 , 06:29 AM
Guys, when is iPoker support coming?

Also wasn't PT3 supposed to be fully released in the beginning of April?
04-14-2008 , 06:40 AM
Stuff tourneys, seriously who cares about them.

I agree, and this is coming.

This is definitely going to be configurable.

Right now, CCPF is the number of times they cold called. We'll likely make another that's a percentage of cold calls for opportunities.

Check out our documentation here: http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT3/docs/
If that doesn't solve your problem, contact us via our support system or forum.

No, the stats do not adjust to resized tables yet.

I spent a good amount of time yesterday improving tournament support and will do so again today. It might not have 100% of the functionality we want, but it should be bug free and very usable for tournament players.

We agree. We want a solid product. We are mostly there, once we fix some of these bugs in the Hud.

I'm hoping to have iPoker support in the beta after next. Beta 9 will be mostly bug fixes with probably a few more Hud features. Beta 10 should have new site support.

We've missed a few tentative deadlines, but that's just what they were, tentative. Not once have we ever said "PT3 will be available by X". We've always said "We hope to have PT3 released by X". Right now, we're hoping for an end of April release, but an early-mid May release is looking more realistic.

We're working on it.

When I start PT3 now the GUI doesn't open but the process is running.

I assume it needs to connect to the PT3 website or else it won't start?

End of february.
04-14-2008 , 09:22 AM
Now the website is up and my PT3 is fully functional again.

So I guess PT3 can't start if it can't connect to the PT3 website.
04-14-2008 , 09:53 AM
The next time that happens, please attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket. It shouldn't be locking up.

I had this same problem... I manually ended the process and started it back up. I had to do this 3 or 4 times before it actually opened. I'm guessing it finally worked when the web site came back online.
