You can simply create new groups for each stat you want and just put one stat in each group. That gives you the exact same effect as you get from PA Hud's single stat placement.

ZOMG!!! perfect. thx.

Is there a stat config file, so that I can share my stat layout with a friend?
04-13-2008 , 02:37 PM
No, you can't export/import layouts yet. That should be available in the next beta.
04-13-2008 , 02:45 PM
Ok, now I'm having a weird problem. I made a stat layout, then I didnt like it, created a new one and saved the layout. Now some of the tables are using my new stat layout and some of the are using the old stat layout.

I scrapped everything and started over, it seems to be working now.

I wasn't able to find how to set color ranges for each stat in my HUD layout. Is this feature included in last beta?
04-13-2008 , 03:59 PM
When I add more tables in stars and then tile them(which decreases their size), my stats don't move and are all over the place. Also, clicking save doesn't uniformly put the stats in the same position on all my tables. If I have 4 tables running I am having to manually move them all to the players name.

Once the kinks are worked out this will be awesome.

This may be discussed before somewhere, but couldn't find it: is there a noticeable speed difference in using postgresql 8.3 vs. 8.2 in PT3?

The same: also, this PT3 HUD is lagging. I couldn't even play because of it.

When you save a layout, it isn't automatically applied to all the tables. To apply a newly saved layout to other tables, click the PT icon on each table and choose Reset.

Resizing support is coming soon, probably in the next beta.

What site were you playing on? Can you reproduce this, and during the lagging, open up your Task Manager and see what process is using the CPU.
04-13-2008 , 05:15 PM
right now I am only playing one table, it is not lagging. I don't know why it lagged before.
04-13-2008 , 05:24 PM
If we have multiple DBs, will the HUD reference all of them, or only the active one? I prefer to keep my mined hands in a separate DB from my played hands to remove selection biases from analyses on mined hands, but would put them in the same if I can only use one at a time for HUD stats. (sorry if already asked).

If you encounter the lag again, please get me the info.

Right now the Hud only reads from the active database. I will be adding support for multiple databases soon.

In terms of the stats/positions not saving. I am hitting the save button as well. It still is not working.
04-13-2008 , 06:27 PM
I can't save my statistics that I set either. Also, when I click "apply", the HUD stats remain the same.

If you make changes, then save, then restart PT3, are your layout changes shown?

Anymore information on this? I can't seem to figure out how to incorporate the actual statistic into a new group. Actually I just don't get any of it?

Also just choose normal at the other tables and you'll get the stats without restarting.

You've got two tabs Group and Stats when you conf stats. Just go to Group and write new details and press new.
Then highlight that one in the left box and press stats and you can then do whatever with that stat

After more examination it appears to work some of the time but not always.

The time it worked was when I joined a table from a waitlist.

It did not work when I was observing a table and grabbed an empty seat.

PokerAce, about my lag issue, don't worry, when it was lagging I was trying out PokerObserverHUD simultaneously while using PT3HUD and ObserverHUD was lagging, nothing to do with PT3HUD. PT3HUD is OK.

Please reproduce this. After doing so, attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket on our site. Be sure you add a description of the problem you are having.

I'm glad PT3 wasn't to blame. Thanks for the update!
