Since Beta 7 I have problems again with the speed of the left pane (with all playernames) when I filter on a daterange (specifically all hands played since 4/1). I didn't have problem with this list in Beta 6. I analyzed and clustered my DB several times, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions? I already left a ticket at your supportsite, but haven't heard anything yet.

I've read your ticket, I just haven't had a chance to respond yet. I'll get this fixed.

In the Player Summary on the general tab I don't think the Total "$/Hour" is correct. I think it's dividing the total amount of money you won by the sum of the hours you played at each individual limit. I believe this is incorrect, it should take the total amount of money and divide that by the "real" number of hours you played.

Here's an example, say I played 15 hours at one limit and 25 at a different limit and made $3000.00. My "real" hours is only 30 because I multi-table and usually have tables from both limits going at the same time. Currently it's saying my Total "$/100" is $3000 / (15 + 25) = $75.00/hour. It should be $3000 / 30 = $100/hour.

Does that make sense?

After reading this great article by MYNAMEIZGREG I wanted to import my player notes from Stars into PT. I select the correct file path and notes.txt and click "import" but all I get is a message saying: "There were no player notes to import."

Where's my fault here? What do I have to do to import player notes into PT?

Thx,

I'm running XP and talking about PT2

I think this is an issue with the 2+2 converter, not PT3.

Two quick questions:

1) Is the main website down? I can't seem to access pokertracker3.com and pokertracker.com

2) What is the development status of Poker Tracker Omaha? Will this software still be supported when PT3 is out? Will there be furthur upgrades for PTO or will be integrated with PT3?

What do I need to do to see who are the biggest winners/losers in my database?

In PokerTracker 2, there's a tab that does this. I can't find it in PT3.

Same here. Website is down for the last ~30 hours.

The website looks to have been down for the last 4-5 hours. It was working fine yesterday. We changed some DNS settings, which may have taken a while to replicate out to everyone. We're working on getting this resolved and apologize for the inconvenience.

PT Omaha will eventually be ported to the new framework. Until then, it will continue to be supported and maintained.

Create a custom report. In the filters of the custom report, uncheck the "Filter on Active Player" option. That lets the report run for all players.

We will eventually be adding the summary information to PT3, but in the meantime, your custom report should suffice.

Did you change the columns that are appearing in the report? If you open the config for it, is it using the "$/Hour Real Limit" stat?

It seems like the hours should be more than 13, right?

How do we apply filters across all the tabs? For example if I want to see only hu hands it shows this data in the positions, graph, and general tab under player statistics but not player summary. When I filter for only hu hands I would like to see only the data for that filter across all the tabs and have things like hourly rate and winnings all reflect that. I use PT almost exclusively for my own play analysis so doing filters is a big deal for me.

I could never find a way to do this in pt2, and I ended up creating a different db just for hu hand exporting so I could see this info. It's one feature in HM that I love.

Those are the default columns, so it's "$/Hour Real Limit".

I multi-table and have tables of both limits up at the same time, so the 13 should be correct.

The filters in PT3 are applied to all the tabs. You can filter by between 2 and 2 players at the table for all HU hands.

Could you zip the hand histories and attach them to a support ticket on our site? I would like to see if I can replicate this.

That is on one thing I don't like about PT3. The units used are very confusing. If it says $/Hr it should be exactly that. If it is dollars per table hour it should have units of $/(T*Hr) or something similar. What is dollars per real hour? Is there dollars per fake hour?

When I do a between 2 and 2 players filter it shows only the hu results on my Graphs, vs Player, Positions, Hands, and in the Player Statistics area of the General tab. However the sessions and winnings tab show all the data instead of the filtered for me. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? IMO both of these tabs are very important since I want to see my winrates filtered.

Also, why can't the player summary area under General show the filtered data? HM shows the summary this way and I like it much better. Convince me to switch

We will have documentation describing each and every column that PT3 comes with.

The reports that show session results cannot be filtered down to individual hands, only things that remain constant in a session: Limit, Site, Dates, etc.

Most of the information you want to see is available in the other reports.

It's probably something you want to maybe look into for the future. There are a lot more people that use PT simply for their own play analysis than you might think. I'm not sure how Roy from HM did this but honestly for me at this point it's probably a nicer product for what I need it for.

If I can create a report that can show me all I need to see can someone please tell me how?

edit: I'm not saying PT3 isn't amazingly powerful for self analysis, but rather that it should be very easy for people that don't need all the advanced 3bet, 4bet, etc stats. I just want to see what my winrate is for each site and stats under all table configurations. I feel like HM has done an excellent job at making that simple, and I think PT has the capability to as well.
