PT3 seems to be calculating $won incorrectly. It says I'm down about 600 when I'm up about $1k recently.

For some of my datamined hands it says guys are down $24k at 100nl when the biggest losing session was just a few buy ins.

Do you have PokerStars configured to save hand histories? Do you have PT3 configured to read from your PokerStars hand history directory?

If you could locate the hands that are off and attach them to a support ticket, I'll get the problem fixed for the next version.

In one of the other threads PokerAce, you said you were going to talk to stars support about adding some limited datamining functionality a la Poker Office. Do you have an update on this? I read today that Poker Office changed their program to comply with PS terms and it will now only datamine 30 hands. Can we expect similar things from PT3?

I guess not since I don't even know what that means.

Yes, PT3 will offer similar functionality.

Yes it is. Now I have to read your website carefully to figure out how to use it. How do I get it to compile statistics on opponents and show them in realtime like I see on various blogs?

God...Beta 7 is almost here....can't wait for HUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PokerAce,

I don't know if somebody else already mentioned it, but please add an option to scroll the "Steps" (Back one step / Forward one step) on the Hand Replayer using the arrows near the numeric keyboard as on PT2.

Thanks for the support

You mean stats displaying on the tables? This is coming for the next beta version.

PT3 currently only supports PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Party Poker. More sites will be coming after the next beta.

Unfortunately, I ran into some problems that caused me a delay. Coupled with the fact that I'm going out of town for the holiday weekend means that Beta 7 won't be out until sometime next week.

There's good news though. Those problems I had (mainly with scalability), forced me to really experiment and I came up with a great method of displaying stats that will never flicker, that do not "chase" a table when it's moved, and uses nearly no CPU. I'm feeling pretty good about it, but it hasn't been tested much yet, so who knows. But it uses far less resources than PA Hud, or even the next gen HUDs that are currently available.

Keyboard shortcuts will be in the rewrite of the replayer.

Well, there ya go. The YEEAAAAs have it.

Enjoy your weekend. A few days won't kill most of us. It sounds like you're making some great HUD progress and we will really appreciate it when you do get it out, especially if the new method is a good as it sounds.

Does this mean that MTT players won't have to continuously close and reopen PAHUD when they get moved during a tourney?

Please, say yes.

That bug should be fixed in PT3.

When will we be able to import/export the player notes from Stars and other sites? I find that functionality to be very useful in PT2.

Sweet! though I am curious to know how or if this will work with Full Tilt. If I remember correctly, Full Tilt's notes information is stored on both the client and server side. The data that is stored on the client side is in a .DAT file; supposedly it isn't possible to map the notes to specific players based on the client side information alone.

Then it's unlikely the import/export feature will work with Full Tilt.

PokerAce do you still have support for the "old" PA HUD?

I got Vista, PLO PT 1.13 and PA HUD 1.18. I am running the softwares as administrator specifically. The problem is that the HU stats usually tend to show up for a couple of hands and then they disappear. I only see VP$: N/A, PFR N/A and Pot: $0 in the upper right corner.

I have checked your FAQ and troubleshooter but no help so far.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times but I have a question about filters.

When I save a filter it says it is saved but then when I apply it I get a dialog box saying it must be saved and do I want to save it. I click yes. It then says I must choose at least one statistic for this report. The filter seems to run fine but why does it do this?

This thread isn't the place for PA Hud problems. Please contact us on our forum or using our support system.

Are you referring to the filters in the custom reports or the filters using the Filters button at the top of the tabs? With custom reports, you need to add at least one statistic before you can save it. Simply double-click a statistic in the list at the bottom to add it.

I saw this in an old post. This is still going to happen? Not that I'm trying to push you guys or anything

And another thing: could it be possible to always open the Session tab on Sessions - by Time? Like, let it remember the last setting?
03-18-2008 , 05:22 PM
It's still a setting, I just haven't added a convenient way to change it. If you know your way around pgAdmin, you can change the setting yourself.

The selection you make in the dropdown will be remembered. I just haven't got that far yet.

I'm talking about using the filters using the Filters button at the top of the tabs. The tabs which say Settings, Filters, Clear, Refresh
03-18-2008 , 08:45 PM
I'm not sure what you mean then by it asking if you want to save. That filter window does not ask that question.
