Are you only allowing registered users of PT3 to post on your forums now?

I am already dealing with your situation but for reference, anyone is free to register on the PokerTracker 3 - Website.

Best regards,

Hi Josh et al -

Great product! I love PT3.

When will we be able to import/export the player notes from Stars and other sites? I find that functionality to be very useful in PT2.

Josh...is there na way to see my stats for each session i play under the sessions tab(by time)???
i.e. what my vpip,pfr,3bet etc were when i played on 3/15,3/14 etc
as it stands it ends at rake

Also with the finished version of PT3...will u be able to like tag a hand while your playing so you can go into PT3 after your session and immediatly pull it up?

ok so I DLed the most recent version and now the filters arent working. I loaded a bunch of old hands and everytime I try to select 1 limit it keeps showing them all as if I havent done anything. Am I missing something here?

Yes. Create a filter by selecting the criteria and then clicking the "Add Selected to Filters" button. The filter criteria should show up in the "Selected Filters" box on the top right, as shown. Then click "Apply."

With this feature, you can create very complex filters. Play around with a bit and see what you can do!

The HUD will have built in notes features, so you'll no longer need to use the site's native notes feature. However, I would like to have a basic import/export for those of you who have extensive notes through the site's interface.

Not currently, though we will add the double-click session filtering that PT2 offers.

did you delete postgres user account before reinstalling?
start -> run -> net user postgres /delete

Open the PokerTracker 3\Data\Config\PokerTracker.cfg file in Notepad and edit the Default.Postgres.* fields under the [Database] section to match your new installation options.
03-17-2008 , 09:04 AM
my database section is empty in that file

Try uninstalling PT3 completely (make sure the PT3 directory is gone), then re-install. It should prompt you for the PostgreSQL settings on first run.

PokerAce,

Is the current version compatible with programs like Sixth Sense or will the final version be?

I believe it is the responsibility of third-party developpers to make their program compatible with PT3, not the other way around.

Go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Configuration Files->Edit pg_hba.conf

At the bottom of the file there are two lines that end in 'md5'. Change the 'md5' to 'trust'. File->Save

Then go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL->Reload Configurations

Now, you are not required to enter a password, just leave it blank when PT3 asks for it.

No problem. Let me know if you have any other problems.

I admit - I'm a complete idiot about software. I downloaded PT3. I've played some on Stars since. Nothing loads into it though. I don't have a clue how to continue. I know I'm an idiot.
