Is there a way to tell how many hands are in the db? I want to compare beta5 w beta6 as it feels there may be some discrepancy.

you can do it with a postgresql query:

psql -A -t -d "[%database name%]" -U postgres -c "select count(id_hand) from holdem_hand_summary hhs WHERE hhs.id_site = xxx;" -o count_hh.txt

change xxx to:
100 for stars hand count
200 for party hand count
300 for full tilt hand count

it will produce a text file with he hand count.

The commercial release is due around Mid to late April. It's not a stupid question but for the fact it was answered in the thread a gazillion times.

At any rate, I downloaded beta 6 and imported a bunch of hands and it went fine. I wanted to make sure the auto import was working so I opened a 2NL table to play one hand and make sure it was imported. I lost my two cents but it imported well.

Then when I looked at my name page it had all these beautiful green numbers and one ugly red section because I was a losing player at 2NL.

Can't have that so I opened another table and immediately get it in with kings vs. aces and lose.

Long story short I end up grinding ****ing 2NL for a ****ing hour almost just to get rid of the damn red numbers. I don't want to calculate the opportunity cost because it would put me on more life tilt than I'm on already.

Just thought I'd share what an OCD idiot I am.

Ahahaha. I have some major red numbers at 25NL after doing some flipaments. And it bugs the hell out of me. I'm just not quite OCD enough to grind it back though, I think it will be forever red and always bugging me.

I was having a problem where it was saying PS is configured to save hand histories...and it wasnt showing PS as running. Somehow I clicked the hide site box and now I can't go back and unclick it.

I made a report to show my winnings per day of the week. Added an extra column (in the Holdem Cash Sessions section), created a statistic for it and created a new report.

The report runs fine, but doesn't filter on the 'standard' PT3 filters. I filter my DB on FTP $100NL since 3/1/2008, every tab uses this filter, but not my custom report.
Adding an extra simple filter to my report (yes, I clicked Add Selected To Filters) doesn't work either. Is this a bug, or is the error between the keyboard and the computerchair?

That's strange. Export your report and attach it to a support ticket on our site. I'll take a look at it.

On PT2 I have the option to see the hands that I played on a specific session just by double left clicking on a row in the Sessions tab. I tried to do the same on PT3 but it doesnt work. I can sort it by "Sessions - by time" and see the hands on the "Session hands" box, but I can't multiple select sessions/tables.
Please, add this option on the final version.

and.. where is the the option to sort the sessions/hands by date?

The multi-session select double-click filter is coming. I'm not sure when though.

You sort the data by clicking on the column headers.

yea..umm what happened to the poker tracker 2 forum ....i got an error t2day for PT2 and i wanted to check pt2 forum to get it fixed but its not there ....plz put up an archived forum for the time being ,,esp since PT3 hasnt come out yet ....

There is a "show hidden sites" checkbox beside the sites list.

This is all great great stuff.

Any news on the rakeback option? Once thats in it will save me having to do my own weekly/monthly reports.

You can do simple rakeback stuff right now with custom stats/reports. We plan on adding more advanced rakeback features later.

There are no sites listed.

Under Auto import it just shows a blank screen and I can't access site configuration to add a site.

none of that is there on my screen...its just all white n blank..and there is no show hidden sites button

Try reinstalling PT3.
