If you purchased PT3 Micro after June 10th and you also purchase an upgrade to PT3 Full, then you will automatically earn a free upgrade to PT4.

If however you purchased PT3 Micro prior to June 10th, and then upgraded to PT3 Full Version (unrestricted stakes), then you will need to also purchase PT4 Micro to get the free upgrade to PT4 Full Version.

The options will be automated while you are logged in to the PokerTracker website during your purchase to help simplify your upgrade after PokerTracker 4 is commercially released.

On OSX 10.6 I had the same problem. I fixed it by upgrading to 3.11.7 BETA.

Stars have released a new update in the past couple of days and it's causing no hand / tourney histories to be imported and no HUD. Using v3.11.6 beta. Any ideas?

The answer is just a few posts above your question. Please upgrade to the latest beta, and disable the Memory Grabber in the PokerStars Import Configuration page. Follow the PokerStars Import Configuration guide found at the PokerTracker website for more information. Good luck!

thank u very much for ur help. I went to a cibercafe to download the installer. Installing it, my PT works again.
I also think that with the new version, it tried to import omaha hands, couldnt, but let it go. At least i dont receive those access violation flags anymore.
Maybe like this, i will be able to enter Pokertracker site soon again .

However, before fixing the problem I played some hands at the tables without the HUD. I then didn't play for an hour or so, fixed the issue and played again. Hands from my second session have imported fine, but those from the first session are unaccounted for. I did some digging and see that the text files from the first session have been moved from the PS folder to the PT3 processed folder. How do I get PT3 to recognise that it has not imported the data from these?
I see you commented again but didn't address my issue. Just posting again in case you missed it.

We didnt see your post earlier. Please try to manually import the text hand histories that are stored in the processed folder from the first session. The issue you describe above should not be associated with the Memory Grabber problem as long as you had PokerStars save your hand histories to your hard drive while playing, please let us know manually importing the lost session does not work by submitting a support ticket on our website. Good luck!

I had PS saving my HH to my hard drive all along, but for some reason PT3 moved the text file into its processed folder, but didn't actually import the data. Anyway, I managed to fix it by manually importing the lost session as you suggested. Normality has been restored. Thanks!

Hello, my Poker Tracker 3 HUD suddenly stopped working. It just won't display the HUD at any of my tables (cash games or tournaments). It's been working just fine up until this morning and I haven't adjusted any settings or anything.
Under the 'Import Status' in PT3, I notice that it says "PokerStars: found 0 files to monitor" even though I'll be playing at 4 tables. I don't know if this normal or not but I suspect it may have something to do with my problem. Can somebody please help me as I rely on my HUD a lot while playing poker.

LedZep,

Please update to our latest beta version of PT3 - 3.11.7, available on our website's download page. That version will work properly with the latest PokerStars update.

Okay, I have downloaded and installed version 3.11.7. I'm still having the same issue. The little PT3 symbol on my tables isn't there. I think I may have screwed with the files.

Hand History Directory in Poker Tracker 3:

C:\Users\Shane\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistor y\

In PokerStars; Options > Hand History Options > Where to save:

C:\Users\Shane\Documents\rlyBADplayer\

Move Possessed Files To:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Processed

Is there anything out of the ordinary here? BTW, I have Windows 7.

can you post here an exact link, where I can get the update. I bought PT3 just before New Year and never updated it and I can't seem to find it

Ok, so I downloaded the new update, installed it and it seems that it is importing hands properly. However HUD doesn't work :/ How to fix this?

I have version 3.11.7beta and have disable memory grabber from the pokerstars import section.

My HUD is still not activated.

Please can someone advise what I need to do. I have looked through all the responses so far and still can't work it out.

Thanks,

Peche.

Yes, you want your Hand History Directory in PT3 to be set to: C:\Users\Shane\Documents\rlyBADplayer\ - that should fix things.

Do you have PokerStars set to Play in English?

Are the hands importing into PT3 for you?

The memory grabber not working due to the PokerStars software upgrade is a known issue that will be fixed in our next release.

Hello,

I'm trying to think of a way to make the hud display data not older than a X months.

My guess is that I could create a new data base every two months and populate it with
my last hand histories.

Is this the best way to do it?

PS. Does creating a new data base every time makes me lose more than just the info
that is in the hand histories themselves (like the notes on players, the hud config?)?
01-10-2012 , 04:42 PM
lowanizer,

That would work, however the data on notes taken in PT3 are stored in the database so you would need to backup and restore Aggregated Notes into your new database to keep your notes.

Finally my HUD started but it only displayed the PT logo on the tables, nothing else.

It seems like the update came with a blank PT3hud profile, so i had to restore default.

Hope this helps.

Syl3 - you issue is unique from the others discussed above because you are updating from a very very very old version of PokerTracker 3. Please contact us directly via our website's support system, we will be happy to help guide you to success. We cannot properly support you via this thread, you will require a personalized experience with our support team. Good luck!
