Thanks. Any idea how I install it?

(1) Download the statistic and save it to the location of your choice. If the file is a zip you will need to uncompress it.
(2) In PokerTracker 3, on the file menu select 'Configure' -> 'Configure Stats'.
(3) Select the 'Statistics' tab and at the bottom of the window click the 'Import' button.
(4) PokerTracker will import the statistic and confirm that it imported successfully.
(5) Click 'Apply' to ensure the stat is saved.

Note: You should update your database cache for optimum performance if you plan on using the stat in your HUD.

Hey, since when did the Stars change their HH format?

An update came to my PokerStars.EE today and now, as the stars support told me, the HH contains the words "PokerStars Hand #" instead of a previous " PokerStars Game #".
So I had no HUD today.
This ruined my session today. I panicked. Lost all monitor-ful of SnGs I had happily loaded up. :/

I am running PT3 v3.10. What version should I download to be compatible with this new HH format?

Im just trialling PT3 and was wondering if there is any way to preview the hands a bit quicker than finding the hand and then clicking that tiny replay button?

In HEM2 you can just double click it?

Never mind, I found out the version 3.11.7 supports the new format.

I wish the stars had informed me beforehand they changed their HH.

Hey guys, I'm on the new beta version on Mac, my refresh button doesn't seem to work Anyone else have the same problem or know a solution?

If you double click a hand to open the hand history viewer you can click Replay Hand from there.

Custom stats are not available in the trial version - that is one of the very few restrictions.

Is it greyed out? Does it animate as if it has recognized you clicked it?
Have you tried restarting?
Try dragging PokerTracker from Applications to the Trash and re-running the installer. If you still have problems please start a thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to help you more directly.

Is there are way on merge to get PT3 to automatically recognize tables as 6max?

Manually setting them whenever I open a table is tedious.

Most of my sessions are entirely 6max so even if I could set the hud to treat all tables as 6max that would help.

If you are not using v3.11.7 Beta please update. Merge now specify the number of seats in their hand histories and PT3 uses this so 6-max tables should be tagged automatically, and the HUD should use the right size.

For old Merge hands, or sites which don't specify the table size, you will need to enable the Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits option in Auto Import > Preferences.

Fixed the problem with the button, one more question, if I win a fpp sat on stars, how can i show the winnings in $$ as no winnings are shown?

I use HM2 mainly but I am wondering does PT have a feature like HM to reset hud stats during a session (in HM you double rightclick someones hud stats and it resets to 0, and double click shows stats for the session only and not overall hands in db).

I use this feature a lot and HM2 sucks so it's the only thing that would really get me to change software.

I want to make it quicker like HEM, where you can just double click the hand, so in PT3 its either click a really small button, or double click, then click a small button?

Also does the non trail version have an EV stat on the sessions tab? i cant see one? Id also like to see this on the graph for a session?

You can update tournament results via the menu Tournament > Enter Results.


This feature isn't available in PT3 but is under discussion for PT4.


EV isn't stored in the database in PT3 (it is calculated for each hand on the fly) and isn't available for whole sessions.

Both of these issues have been addressed for PT4. In PT4 you can choose whether you prefer to have double click replay the hand or open the hand history viewer, and you can choose either from the right-click menu.

2 Questions:

How can I view all my stats that I put on my HUD? Like my own 4bet, flop check raise, etc?

Also, is there a way to see all in EV filtered for a certain number of players left? For example, I play 18 mans, and I'd like to see how I'm running from 2-9 players left... possible?

I have an idea: why don't you join "Player Icon" and "Note Editor" in one? It will save one place on HUD!

So I just came back from Holidays and started playing yesterday for the first time this year and none of my hands will import, and my HUD wont pop up.

It was working fine during the end of last year, I haven't changed anything, has anyone had this happen? I did a few basic things like restart PT3 and my computer, as well as making sure that the HH is being tracked from the correct file, but still not getting anything.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Todays PS update broke the PT HUD. Please fix it

In PokerTracker 3 it is best to use the built in reports combined with custom reporting tools built into PT3, the HUD shows the Hero's current session history so you can see how you look in the eyes of your opponents at the time of the hand in the replayer.

In PT4 we added a feature which allows you to see the Hero's total history in the HUD, I sugest you upgrade to PokerTracker 4 if this is an important feature for you when we release PT4.

We are no longer developing new features for PokerTracker 3. In the soon to be released PokerTracker 4 the note icon remains separate but that is because player auto rating has been removed to allow us to create a new auto-tagging tool which is far superior.

Whenever you have an issue such as this, it is best to let us know which site you are having the issue with because PokerTracker supports over 20 poker sites and networks.

If you are playing on PokerStars, then the problem may be caused by a software update that was released this weekend by Stars which broke the PokerTracker Memory Grabber. We are investigating what has changed so we can release a fix, but in the meantime you can continue to import hand histories by unchecking the memory grabber option in the Import: PokerStars Configuration page in PT3. For more information please read the PokerStars Configuration Guide on the PokerTracker website.

Please diable the PokerStars Memory Grabber until an update is released to fix this issue caused by the release of a new PokerStars poker client, your HUD and import will continue to work if you make this change.
