I am considering switch to PT from HEM. I play SnG on Party.

I just start play on Party in December. I start PT and import hands from my HEM archive. Problem is it shows 1 more game than HEM has and is off by like 25% of profits.

Just in this month, Jan, I have 150 games played - and both HEM and PT3 show 150 games, but PT3 shows me down $$ and HEM shows me +$$. HEM is correct for sure.

I have the newest beta. plz help i want to try out pt3 but not if it's going to be a headache to get started.

Have you imported summaries for your tournaments as well as hand histories? It is possible that not all of your results are recorded in the hand history files.

Please start a thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website, or open a Support Ticket there, and we'll be able to help you get this sorted out much more easily there.

Will you continue to sell PT3 when PT4 released? I am planning to buy PT3 Omaha but do not sure yet (still testing the water at the moment).
I'm 100% satisfied with PT3 Holdem, that's why I prefer PT3 Omaha instead of PT4 Omaha. I don't want/like to spend time learning+seting new software.

I'm pretty sure that PT3 will be removed from sale once PT4 is in commercial release, but we will continue to support it for some considerable time.
If you purchase PT3 Omaha now you will get the upgrade to PT4 omaha for free when you buy the upgrade to PT4 holdem (unless you bought PT3 holdem since June 10th, 2011 in which case you'll get both for free).

I hope (and expect) that once you try PT4 you won't want to go back to PT3, especially if you're playing both games. They are much more closely integrated (although fully separable using quick filters) and there are additional omaha-specific filters, etc.

How do I filter the player search so that it only shows players with a specified number of hands or more?
Want to do this so i have a ready-to-go reg list.

Cheers!

Want to do this so i have a ready-to-go reg list.

Cheers!
It's not possible to do this in the player list at the left but you can create a custom report on the Reports tab to show players with a certain number of hands. Create the report in the Player Statistics section, add the Player statistic and the Hands statistic (you can add more if you'd like as well). Click on the blue Filters link, uncheck Filter on Active Player, and type this in and click Save:
#Hands# > 1000

Then when you run the report you'll see all and only players with more than 1000 hands.

It means PokerTracker tried to access a memory location which was no longer valid - what version of PT3 are you using? If you're not using our latest Beta (3.11.7) please upgrade - many of these kinds of errors have been fixed in our beta line since 3.10.

Hi,

I'm running v3.11.7 beta on OS X. I play six-max NLHE on Lock Poker (Merge). Over the past couple days, random hand histories show incorrect action, typically misrepresenting player actions on the turn in a nonsensical order. Is anyone else having these issues/is there a way for me to fix this? Let me know if I need to provide more details, I'm assuming if I'm experiencing this others are as well and there's either a quick fix or I'll just have to wait for an update.

-Thanks.

Do you mean that the hand histories themselves have incorrect actions?
If that is the case I suggest that you send the files to your site's support and ask if they can send you the correct versions - hopefully this is something they'll also be able to fix so it doesn't happen again.
If the hand histories are correct but PT3 is misinterpreting them please compress a few example files and attach them to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website so that we can investigate.

I am doing some datamining and starting to build up large samples on certain players. I fear in the future I will have lots of worthless hands on regs who have since changed their game. Is there any way to limit the amount of HUD stats to say last 10k hands? If possible I'd like to avoid deleting all hands from before a certain time as I'd like to keep any info on more casual players

PT4:

Will there be something like an Allinev for STTs(The Redline like in HEM)? If yes, is it possible to do this with custom Payoutstructures? That would be ****in awesome.

Because you mentioned players changing their screen names I assume your discussing Cake; datamining would break the Cake terms of Service. I'm afraid we cannot help you, as we do not support datamining unless the network permits this to occur, and this is increasingly rare in the online poker world. PokerTracker follows the Terms of Service of all the networks that we support, we are a responsible company within the online poker industry that follows the rules defined by each online poker network.

I've searched the forum and this thread in particular for my problem but can't seem to find a solution to my problem. When I load up PT3 on america's cardroom (yahatay) the hud only seems to work for the first table. How do I fix this?

Are you playing on cash games or tournaments? If you are playing tournaments, is the second table the same tournament type?

We are addressing your unique issue via PM, we have contacted the network on your behalf.

Cash game, same stakes on all tables. The client shows one table's hands importing, ignoring all the other ones.

I could not reproduce your issue while multitabling, all cash games imported. I also tested using the same cash stakes and table names, there were no importing issues. Are you using PT3 BETA 3.11.7? If not, then please update to this version - many Yatahay Network related issues have been fixed already. If so, then please submit a support ticket on our website along with the table names and any hand histories we can look at to investigate.

Please make sure that you start the Yatahay software with "Run as Administrator", either by right clicking the icon and clicking that option, or by changing the Properties > Advanced option for the shortcut you use.

I'm really struggling with the input of these processes having never used the reports section. Any chance you could go through what I need to do in as much detail as possible, ie; click by click.

Sorry and thanks.

Also, I recently bought a new PC and instead of moving over my old database i just moved over processed hands from a certain point and manually imported.
I had a lot of notes on my old databse, is there a quick way of finding these notes rather than going through a player list 1 by 1?

I have a Q.

Is it possible to set filters by Hand EV? I mean the expected value not the actual value?

Lets say I wanīt to show up my coinflips only by the EV and compare it to the actual results.

Please check the "Custom reports and stats" tutorial in the documentation on the PokerTracker website, and if you have more questions start a thread in the forums there where we'll be able to help you in more detail.

In PT3 the EV is not stored in the database so you can't filter for it. The information is stored in the database for PT4 so it should be possible there.
For now you can sort reports by clicking on the column header of the all-in EV column to see the values in order.

Hello,
I just installed the PT3 trial and i think PT3 doesnt recognize my hand history files. In the setup wizards First time import it found 2 files and said for both of them Unrecognized file format. Then it did "Housekeeping" and moved on to the next step and said that itīs ready for use. It also finds the active handhistory files, but no hands appear to be imported. I canīt find any players nor played hands. Handhistory is saved in english.
