The money and red/green numbers are formatted differently. I want to make color ranges work for them too, but it will take more work.

When I go to download the pt 3 it gives me 2 options on which to download. which one do i pick ?? i have no idea what PostgreSQL is.

PostgreSQL is the database service that PT3 is using, and is therefore needed to run PT3. If you have no idea what PostgreSQL is, it's likely you haven't got it installed and then you'd need to download the version that includes the PostgreSQL installer.

Chances are if you have no idea what PostreSQL is, you do not already have it installed - so pick the version that includes PostgreSQL.

Later, when you update to new versions of PT3 - you will then already have PostgreSQL, so you can download the smaller "without" versions.

Sorry if this has already be addressed, but do you have a timeframe as to when 1) auto request tourney results and 2) import from email will be added?

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I have a few Access DBs without *.hhdb files to go with them. Is there any way the data in my Access DBs can be translated into a format which will be visible to PT3?

ie. Can I convert my access DBs to PQSQL DBs using PT2 (without any *.hhdb files) and if so, does PT3 recognize PQSQL DBs created in PT2?

I wish there were a way to somehow export only the raw data in my Access DBs to some format like *.csv which can then be re-imported into PT3..

Any clarification would be muchhhh appreciated.

PT3 will eventually be able to convert from Access databases. Unfortunately, since you haven't saved the hand histories, PT3 will only be able to make a read-only database that will not contain all of the data PT3 supports.

As far as payment methods are concerned, will you start to allow payments via
site transfers.

I just dont understand it when poker related sites dont offer this, as id suspect it'd be
the #1 method used, and cost you business.

Do the sites feel like your violating their terms of service thus not allow you to do this?

I know all the big poker schools allow it: cardrunners, stoxpoker, & pokerXfactor.

We are not allowed to advertise the one site transfer we can take, but it's not difficult to find if you look hard enough. The site doesn't have to allow this, so we only use it when necessary.

i am using pokerace hud v1.18
but i can see the stats of the players.
i n only see a weird number at the bottom right of the screen.
i am puttin a screenshot to make it clearer.

what am i doin wrong?

PA Hud does not work with PT3. You'll need to download the AHK HUD from our forum until the native PT3 HUD is released.

i downloaded ahk but this time i even cant see the program running.There is only a H symbol at the quick start panel thats all.
when i click it looks like this.

2 Questions

I still have about 100K hands left to download but it has been extremely slow when importing recently (19-45 h/s). How can I speed this up?

Also, now that I have about 400K hands imported, the tabs are extremely slow especially 'vs. player' and 'graphs' (never would come up). Is this normal or can I speed this up also? Thanks.

Yes, we plan on supporting the top 6 sites on commercial launch with more sites to quickly follow.

Please make a post in the AHK HUD thread in our forum. _dave_ monitors that thread closely and will help figure it out.

There are about 380K currently in the database. Last time I clustered, etc, was around 280K.

You should cluster every 50k-100k hands, so you're due for one. See if that speeds things up. Also, doing an analyze is much faster than a cluster, and should be done much more often.

Thought you guys might like to see what the filter overhaul has developed into:

It's still not quite finished, but this should give you some idea of what to expect. This new system is much more intuitive and more powerful than the old. The system is very flexible and will allow for filtering just about anything.

is there any way i can set PT3 to the time that i start my day. i play my sessions through midnight and it's kind of annoying to see my stats from the night before when i filter for the specific date. am i missing this?
