Hi,

I have downloaded the trial version of Pokertracker but I have 2 or 3 issues. Firstly, when somebody moves seat, the stats of the person who was in the seat when I started pokertracker stay in position so I'm getting stats that don't relate to the person now playing in the seat. Secondly, the stats seem to stay at the same size when I minimize the table so on full screen it is fine but when I minimize the table the stats get in the way of what's going on.

Thanks,

Scott

PT3 is somehow interfering with the new PokerStars HotKeys feature. They work fine when PT3 is not running but as soon as the HUD appears the hotkeys stop working. Please fix this. (Win7 pro, PT3 v.3.11.5, PS client updated)

When a player leaves the table or otherwise moves his seat, we do not know that he is gone (or replaced) until after one hand with the new player (or empty seat) has been imported. At that point, the change should take effect immediately.

We are aware of the issues surrounding the stats and their scaling - that is why we have developed the vector HUD engine for PT4. This will not be an issue there.

Please make sure that PokerStars and PT3 are both running as Administrator. When PokerStars is updated, sometimes that change is lost - so far we have only had one other report of similar behavior and that was the cause for them.

Runnin PokerStars.exe as an administrator fixed it. Thanks!

Hey, had my first issues with pt3 recently and I dont think ive changed a thing.

On BODOG the little image showing the hero/villians hand and the board when it goes to showdown usually only pops up for a few seconds but now stays there without going away.

On MERGE im having trouble getting the hud to go under the correct person, its always a seat or two away from the correct person.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

Assuming that Intertops is still on the Cake poker network then that is not correct, Cake has authorized the use of PokerTracker. Cake recently changed it's TOS to allow the use of a HUD provided that the tracking software is approved (which we are) and restricted to the current table session (which we do).

Hi,

I got the following problem:

When playing Knockout-SnGs on Stars, PT3 makes a whole lot of wrong imports of the SnG structures. Most of my KOs are saved as normal SnGs, which lets PT3 calculate that the bounty is part of the rake and in addition every bounty I gained is not added to my earnings. This leads to totally wrong results, e.g.:
Played 44 SnGs today, about half of them were KOs. According to PT3 I'm at 0% ROI while real ROI with bounties included and correct rake is at 8%.
I don't like to have worthless stats on knockouts and editing those all by hand is too time consuming. Is this problem known here? Can it be solved?

I already asked this in the pokertracker.com forum, but they couldn't help to solve this problem other than looking at single tournament imports and stating that they constantly improve the auto-detect system but cannot gain as much info on structure from the HH as they want.

this thread is gonna get deleted/moved because according to the 2nd sticky listed in this forum, any PT3 or HEM questions should be posted in respective sub-forums. ask your q in the Pt3 (of 2p2 software forum) section and maybe pm a mod kindly asking for this thread to be deleted.

just a heads-up.

Sorry, didn't see that. Would be nice if the thread could be moved there.

How to make the format (see below) showed only 2 characters in my hud? Currently it showed something like: "12%(1/4)"
I want it showed only the percentage: "12"

(please explain a little, because I'm a beginner. Just purchased PT3 a few hours ago and want to mastered it )

format( '{1}% ({2}/{3})', format_number((cnt_pfr_blinds / cnt_hands_blinds) * 100 ,0,false,false), cnt_pfr_blinds, cnt_hands_blinds )

Please make sure you have PokerStars set to save your Tournament Summaries and PT3 configured to import from the directory they save. Without the tournament summaries, PT3 does not know how well you did in any given tournament. If you have any tournament summaries which are not importing properly, please send them to us via our support system and we will make sure we get them working properly for you.

Change that format to just /%.2f and it should work properly - then if you want to turn on the times and opportunities later, you can do that via the Statistics Properties box in the Hud Configuration window.

Thanks for your quick answer.
This is both set correctly. A whole lot of tournaments are imported wrong and even if I go manually for "Tournaments --> Hold Em Results --> Auto Detect" and chose the corresponding SNGs, PT3 doesn't save the rake and bounties correctly (it changes the tournament type to "bounty" but considers the bounty payments as rake and doesn't account for any bounty-winnings).
Any idea how I can solve that problem generally?
I can send you all my latest KO-SnGs with a support ticket if needed, but just correcting past results is not all I'm looking for.

Hi, I am trying to look at some hand histories that a friend sent to me. They are for True poker on the Yatahay network. I tried to use the manual import feature to bring them into my database but after each one that it imports on the import log it says that the file format is not recognized.

Perhaps the software needs to know which network the files are from? So I checked off Yatahay network and then indicated that I would manually configure the import folder for Yatahay. Next, I told the program to import the files. It then gave an error message that Yatahay network is not installed (or something like that). I don't have True poker installed on that computer but do I really have to?

IIRC Bounty payouts are not all included in the results information so there is nothing for PT3 to import. We do plan to improve support for Bounty buy-ins, but this requires a more significant change so I'm not sure when it will be done.
Please do attach a few examples to a Support Ticket and we'll pass them on to the development team to help when the changes are made.

You do not need to have True poker installed in order to use Manual Import.
Please check the version of PT3 in the title bar and if you're not using v3.11.5 then update from the PokerTracker website.
If the hands will still not import then please attach a few example files to a ticket on our support system so that we can investigate.

Hi I am new to PT3 and just downloaded/installed the trial version.
I just have a few questions:
1). PT3 is showing me having losses for my sessions even though looking at the Cashier I know I was up for the day and for those sessions. Am I not filtering correctly in the software?
2). I'm not sure, but it seems that it might be calculating rake incorrectly. In one particular session my MGR is calculated higher than the Rake amount in the details.

Thanks in advance.

I'm confused what is the meaning of:

- Fold to 3bet
- Fold to PF 3bet
- Fold to PF 3bet when Raised

Please explain a bit what's the difference between this stats

I need to reformat my laptop but I want to save my hand histories/stats from PT3 and put them back into PT3 when I reinstall it. How can I do this?

Are you playing in tournaments? It's possible your tournament results aren't being detected properly - you can check your individual tournament results (and update them manually) via the Tournaments --> Enter Results windows.

MGR can be higher than Rake. Rake is the amount of money taken out of pots that you personally won. MGR is the amount of rake taken out of every pot you were dealt in, divided by the number of players dealt into those hands. A very simple example: If you play one hand with $1 in rake, two players and lose the hand you have $0 in rake (you didn't win) but MGR of $0.5 ($1 in rake / 2 players).

Fold to 3Bet is how often a player folds to any 3bet on any street in any situation.

Fold to PF 3bet is how often a player folds to a 3bet preflop in any situation.

Fold to PF 3Bet When Raised is how often a player folds to a 3bet preflop after they made the opening raise.

I hope that clarifies things for you.

Click File --> Backup and make a full backup of your PT3 system. Save the file to a flash drive (or some other method of getting it off of your machine). After you reformat, click File --> Restore and PT3 can use that file to make sure everything was exactly as it was at the time of the backup.

Is there anyway to do a search on PokerTracker to find out who is the most winning player in my database?
11-01-2011 , 04:37 AM
You can see info on all of the players on the Summary tab, and you can sort that (or any) report by clicking on the column headers.

Nice feature!
It will be better if we can click the player name to see his graph, stats, etc more detail. At the moment, we can only see some general stats. Or may I missing something?

Once you find the name of the player there, you can click his name on the left hand side of PT3 (or use the search bar at the top left) to make him the active player. Once he's the active player you can see his stats in the other tabs, review hands from his perspective as if you were him, etc. (of course, we'll only have the data on him that you have seen - so if he didn't show his cards down, we won't suddenly know what those are)

How accurate is the RAKE on PT3. It says I have 70 dollars in rake if not more. Is that only me? The site gives me 40% Rakeback. I only received 10 bucks. How should I look at it?
