If you're playing heads-up we could probably design a custom report to give you the sort of info that you want, but for multi-way games determining exactly who you won and lost money from is somewhat tricky to define. If you want to look into this further please start a new thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to go into more detail.
I'm playing heads-up, as well as double shootouts (so that's 2 heads-up games, in 1 SnG). So sounds like a custom report would be possible then.
If you could help me out creating one, that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Other than that please read the tutorial on preferred seating in the FAQs and Tutorials section of the forum on the PokerTracker website, and in particular the Troubleshooting section.

The Adjust qualifying limits is on and my preferred seat is correct for both 6 and 9max tables. I have read the tutorials also. Any other advice? This is very frustrating when I have more than a couple tables open and constantly have to self move boxes.

Please start a thread in the custom stats & reports forum on the PokerTracker website and we'll help you out - it isn't really practical to do something like that in this kind of thread.

can i aline to show mock card at certain location?

thanks

I will ask a stupid question. why in my PT3, I lost 100% ROI in SNG, when the fact is I only lost one SNG out of 7 SNG games? I just started to use it for SNG for Bodod.

Thanks.

I have PostgreSQL 8.3 with my PT3. In the pg_log directory there are approx 1400 log files eating up 5GB of disk space. Are these logs required or can I delete them? They date back to 2009. Thank you

I'm not absolutely sure what you're asking, but if you want to position the mucked/shown cards in the HUD then you can right-click-drag them in the same way that you position the stats. You can change the HUD Options to have the mucked cards shown longer at the end of a hand, or show the cards again using the PT-icon menu. Be sure to PT-icon > Save Layout after you make any changes.

Please read the FAQ: Tournaments in the FAQs & Tutorials section of the forum on the PokerTracker forum for more information, but no tournament results are available from Bodog. PT3 should auto-detect finish positions for STTs, but it isn't possible for multi-table tournaments.

Yes, you can delete the files in the pg_log folder, but ONLY that one. Do NOT delete files from any of the other log folders.

As far as I'm aware ENet don't have preferred seating (only "sit me here" but if you use that the position you moved to isn't recorded in the hand history file).

Thanks!

Just to confirm it is located at: Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/data/pg_log

It's actually the only log folder that I see.

I'm trying to import some hands i requested from pokerstars but i get bunch of errors like the following:
2011/09/14 23:04:30: Unable to import hand. Reason: Invalid limit (Omaha Pot Limit PL Hi (9 max)) for hand #63468845764
2011/09/14 23:04:30: Unable to import hand. Reason: Invalid limit (Hold'em No Limit NL (9 max)) for hand #63468767942

I think those are all hands from a mixed plo/nlhe tournaments i have played. Any way i can fix this?

Thanks

Oh and i got one error which reads invalid pot size.

EDIT:
Also - ALL my tournaments show as played in USD no matter what currency they are played at. For example if i play a tournament $10+1 and €10+1 they both show as $10+1. How can i fix this? This is a major issue as $1 is not €1 and therefore all fees and winnings are incorrect.

I do only play one table SNG/STT, and I was marked 100% (not even win a signle hand)

If you have a lot of players in your database it can take a little while to populate the player list - try leaving it for a few minutes. If it still doesn't work please report your problem via the support system on the PokerTracker website and we'll work with you to get things sorted out.

Mixed games will not import yet. Please attach an example hand history file to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and we'll pass it on to the development team for reference when this is added.
Please also attach the HH file which gives the invalid pot size error so we can see whether this is an error in the hand history file or something which needs to be addressed in PT3.
All tournaments are shown in USD now, but currency support will be fully integrated into PT4 for all areas.

Then please attach the hand history file to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website so that we can investigate further.

I have sent my HH to PT3 support.

Still I am not sure how to position the mucked/shown cards in the HUD before play, is there a way in PT3 I can do so, or I have to right-click-drag them during the live play and drag them to position and save it?

Thanks

At this point you can only place them during live play.

I can't tell you which tournament had and error message in the pot size or send the PLO/NLHE hands as i'm importing form a large files, which consist of multiple tournaments. Those tournament have been out for ages and I'm really surprised they still lack the support. The pot size error could be just a bad file sent from stars so i'm not really that bothered. Just thought it could be a common thing and easy to fix.

I don't mind all tournaments showing in USD but they are not converted at all. PT3 assumes $1 = €1 = £1 and this is a problem. When you say currency support will be integrated in PT4 do you mean it will NOT be integrated in PT3? At all?
On the same note how can i edit a tournament fees, results, finishes, etc? Like i want to manually edit my EUR and GBP tourneys to reflect a correct USD amount.

And one last thing for the last 30 minutes i've been trying to create an alias and then add different usernames from different sites to it, and i can't seem to find the way to do it... I do not want to have one of my usernames as a master username and add the rest to it. I just want to create a name (called Hero or whatever) and add different accounts names to it.

You can compress and attach the whole file, that's fine.

Currently only cash games are currency-converted in PT3. I don't know whether currency conversion will be added for tournaments in PT3 - there are changes needed in the database which makes it more complex.

You can update the tournament results by going to Tournaments > Enter Holdem|Omaha Results in the PT3 menu.

That isn't possible in PT3 - you can only alias existing players together.
(As a workaround you could create a fake hand for your preferred name and import that to alias to.)

Is there a program which auto colour codes players on Pokerstars based on PT3 stats?
09-20-2011 , 05:34 PM
recently downloaded Intertops poker and PT3 does not recognize it as a Cake skin? Displays this:

Unable to launch auto-import for site: Cake Poker Network. Reason: Cake auto-importer needs to be configured.

Is it not compatible despite being on the Cake network? Or am I missing osmething here in regards to setting it up?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
09-21-2011 , 03:44 AM
On the Auto Import > Cake Poker Network Configuration tab if the Auto Detect button doesn't find the hand history folder you can set it manually by clicking the Add button. You will need to have played at least one hand for the hand history folder to be created.
See the Cake Configuration guide on the Documentation page of the PokerTracker website for more information.

is there a way to put auto rate icons on the HUD?
09-23-2011 , 05:10 AM
Add the "Player Icon" stat to the HUD in the same way that you would add any other stat.

I want to use PT3 trail version, in order to do that you need PostgresSQL, Originally I had HM, so i already had it. but to avoid trouble I uninstalled postgresSQL to just do it through PT3. Biggest mistake ever. Apparently theres a password you create when you install it which is your "Windows Account for PostGres" well I dont know what that pword is, i tried everything i normally use and none of them work. So I call support, of course they send me to India and i cant understand a single word the guy is saying, and he talks in a whisper. SO im like **** this and hang up. I try to call again to see if its a different guy, its not. Their support blows. SO im trying to find out what my pword is for postGres, no idea how to find it. Idk if Gabe can help or not.

Posted from a chat

Cliffs: I need to find my PostGres Password. SUpport blows. How do I find it.

Edit: If you want to send a PM send to younguns87 (this is my gimmick for POG)

Thanks for responses

What's the difference between "rake" and "Monthly Gross rake" as shown in PT3?

*Note: MGR is not just the total month's rake, it's a number always slightly higher or lower than "rake"
