Can anyone tell me how my preflop 4-bet range is wider than my 3-bet range?
Is the 4-bet # the % of my 3bet range that I re-raise with? If so it doesn't explain it very well (and also seems very low).

Also any thoughts on my positional stats would be appreciated. Thanks.

The 4-bet percentage only counts opportunities to 4-bet.

If you have faced 10 3-bets in 1000 hands and 4-bet all 10, then your 4-bet% will be 100%.
That's very different to having faced 100 3-bets in 1000 hands and 4-betting 10 times (where your 4-bet% would be 10%) but in both cases you've 4-bet 1% of the hands you were dealt.

Q about the fold to 3-bet stat.
Does this stat also include the times you were in the blinds and for example CO opens, BTN 3-bets and I fold?
Because sometimes I have folded to 3-bet 100% w/o having been 3-bet at all at the table.

I play HUSNGs and would like my HUD to be according to that.

The problem is, I don't know which I should pick to show the right stats.

I want:
- % of how often they call a openraise from the SB1
- % of how often they limp in the SB
- % of how much he c/r cbets on the flop

The default Fold to PF 3-Bet stat counts the times you fold to any 3-bet regardless of the situation. We have a built in statistic called Fold to PF 3-Bet When Raised which will count only times where you made the open raise.

(1) Openraise from SB for HU would be the Att to Steal stat. The only time you can attempt a steal in heads up play is to open raise the small blind.
(2) If they didn't attempt to steal but did VP$IP then they limped - I feel like you can use the other numbers to intuit limping percentage but I'm not certain off the top of my head exactly what would do it. Easiest would definitely be to make a custom stat for this.
(3) This stat is available by default as well - it's called Check Raise Flop.

(1) But I want it to show how often they call my steal attempt.
(2) Do you know how to create the custom stat?
(3) Yeah, that worked, thank you! :-)

(1) Then use the stat "Call BB to Steal"

(2) Create a new column in the Player Statistics section calls cnt_limp with the definition:

sum(if[tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_limp, 1, 0])

Then on the Stats tab create a new stat dividing cnt_limp by cnt_open_opp and multiplying by 100. See this tutorial for a detailed walkthrough on how to take this information and exactly where to click to build the stat.

Ok, the description about this stat says: "Fold to Preflop 3Bet Percentage When Hero Open Raised And It Wasn't A Steal". So this is only when we open from UTG and MP? (I'm playing 6-max btw)
I'm looking for the one that also counts in the CO and BTN opens... Thx.

there is a "parameter" in PT3 that tells (in Sessions tab) when a new session occurs OR it is the same session even if a small pause happen. the default value for this is 30 minutes. how can i change it ?

Fold Steal to Blind Reraise will count your open raises from the CO & BTN. Or the repository stat would also work. The Fold to PF 3Bet When Raised will be fixed in the not too distant future to count steals as well by default.

A new session is considered to begin once you have not played any hands for 30 minutes. This setting is not configurable at this point in time.

HEM or PT3? If it's HEM, you're posting in the wrong thread

If it's PT3, please attach one of the hand history files to a Support Ticket so we can investigate it further.

Yeah, select Merge in the site list on the auto import tab and go to the "Merge Network Configuration" tab. You'll then be able to configure your preferred seats for the different table sizes.

Hopefully this is the correct place to ask my Q.

Basically, I know how to show my EV graph (tick box, duh) but was wondering how I include my All in EV in my stats/reports. eg. next to VPIP, PFR, 3b% etc etc....I haven't seen it anywhere.

Cheers.

EV isn't currently stored in the database so can only be shown for individual hands, so you can add it to reports showing individual hands but not overall stats like VP$IP.
See the Tutorial: Configure Built-in Reports - the stat names start with "EV" or "Equity".

Is there a way to take notes on players through the HUD on pt3? I've started playing on the smaller sites and the note taking feature on those sites really suck. I know HEM has this ability but I don't see any icons or anything in the HUD for pt3.

Thanks
05-02-2011 , 05:58 PM
Yes, you can do this in PT3. You need to have the Note Editor added to the HUD - it appears as a small grey notepad icon. If you click on it you can then type in notes for the player and hit enter to save the note. Icons for players with notes will display in yellow and if you mouse over yellow notes and let your mouse go still you'll see all of the notes you have saved on the player in question.

Playing on RPM.
Do they send tourney summaries? They are not updating properly if so and the autodetect is not showing buyin or winnings. I cant read the hand histories from them (xml)format so dont know if they are in the HHs or not. Not a biggie for now playing minimicro takes---really small LOL<$1.
