You'd have to build custom stats to meet those needs, but you certainly could do it. An example would be the by M popup I have in my HUD - which is available in our repository as a free download (though you'd need a registered copy of PT3 in order to be able to use the various custom statistics).

Pretty sure my question wasn't written well. What I meant was to have stats like pfr/vpip/att to steal when a players stack is a certain size(this is for mtts btw). That way I don't have stats from early parts of the mtt when they're playing really tight when we're deep in a mtt when ppl open up a bit. Hope that makes sense.

Does or will poker tracker support playnow.com, the new government poker site run by the BC Lottery Commission?

I sent an email to them asking, "It sounds like you are saying that the use of Poker Tracker does not violate your terms of use. Is that true? "

Here is their reply, "We will not tolerate the use of any tool that gives one player an advantage over another – whether this is an external device, software or a program or application to help in decision-making, saving the gaming history of your adversaries, etc".

You can build custom stats for these, as Kraada suggested. Displaying the correct value based on a player's current stack size is a little more complicated - see this thread for more information.


They use the Boss Media software, which is supported by PT3.

PokerTracker does not violate the terms of any site which it supports – all it does is store the hand histories which are written to your computer for hands that you play - information that you, personally, have access to anyway.

Hi, I'm currently using PT3 (60 day trial) and it has been working great, until a few hours ago where the message,

has been Appearing for every hand in the Import Status box.

I'm playing the same 6max NL game I have always played and I still have ~20 days in the trial, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Maybe FT change their hand histories ?

If you upgrade to our most recent beta version (3.09.4) these hands will import properly - 3.08.1 cannot handle the Full Tilt hand histories with time zones other than ET.

Poker Tracker 3 - All-In EV Line?

When I'm looking at the gold line (Net Expected Won $), what the hell am I looking at? Does anyone know how this graph line is calculated?

If I get into a hand cheap, then crack a better starting hand getting it in post flop with the best of it, does it count this as "run good", thus making the stat simply how good I'm playing post flop?

Or is it a true representation of what the %'s are at the moment the money goes in?

I have had PT3 for 2 and a half years now. I have played over 200,00 hands of cash game play. Mostly ranging from 2/4 NLHE to 5/10 NLHE full-ring. I briefly used the HUD about 2 years ago but just found it all to be a cluster of numbers and I was 8 tabling and didn't put in the time or energy to set it up properly.

Now, more to the point (haha), I realize that having a HUD will be beneficial to my cash game play as I have tons of hands on most of the opponents that I play against in my PT3 database and I was hoping for a little guidance on how to set this up in a manner that will slowly get me into using this application ( a HUD for dummies guide if you will). I have been playing micro stakes just trying to get it going again but I have been unable to even do that. Is this something you need to pay extra for? Also, I stumbled across something called Poker Edge 5 where it changes the numbers for you automatically going from pre-flop to after the flop to after the turn.... Is something like this allowable on sites such as Full Tilt? Does PT3's HUD have this type of feature? I would really appreciate any and all the help and/or advise on which statistics to start out using and getting this HUD up and running and doing so in a manner in which I can ease my way into it so to speak.

Do you mean that the Hud isn't appearing at all?
In that case please check the FAQ: PT3 HUD.
If you mean that you're trying to make changes to the Hud please see the Hud guides in the Documentation, and the Tutorial: Managing HUD Groups.

PT3 does not do this - it only knows about hands from the hand history file, which is written after the hand complete.

I would suggest that you start with the default Hud, and think about what additional information you would like about your opponents, and add one or two stats at the time to show you that information. If you want help selecting (or building) the correct stat to give you certain information please ask.

Thank you for the response! Unfortunately I am having even more issues. I just ran an update from Norton 360 and now when I go to open my Poker Tracker 3 it isn't opening. It says that a version of it is running, and there is the oval Poker Tracker 3 logo on my computer but the actual program isn't running. I don't really know what to do (again) haha and any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Please make sure that Norton isn't blocking PT3 or PostgreSQL in any way - we have a tutorial on how to configure Norton here that should be able to help you get everything working properly again.

Is there some reason these and verified-correct RB stats can't be included in the next update?

Seems kind of dumb (sorry, but true) to not have them available as a base stat without having to go through all the custom BS.

When downloading a custom stat what do you open it with??

Custom stats can only be imported into PT3. To import a custom stat click Configure --> Configure Statistics, go to the Statistics tab and click Import. Choose the .pt3stat file you want to import and click Import. PT3 will take care of the rest.

Hi,when I am trying to play Rush(at fulltilt) on table veyron (6max 2/4) the HUD is mixed up.But only on this table,all other rush limits work fine.Notice that veyron is only there since 24. of feb,so after you last update.Pokertracker is importing the hands,but I noticed it treats them as 2/4 6max normal ring game,so somehow it doesnt notice it is a rush table.Can I change this somewhere manually or should I wait for the next update?

I'd like to study my husng 3bet game, but with HM I can't because if we filter by all in preflop, HM will return all the preflop all ins with showdown, and I want to study my 3bet game WITHOUT showdown, is it possibile with PT3?

Has anyone cleared the Titan, NoIQ or Red Kings bonus to get PokerTracker for free? If yes, then which one do you think is the easiest?

So I was playing online using PT3, and noticed when someone shows their cards pre-flop, it would also display a flop!

So I was asking in the chat box for people to show winning hands pre-flop and sure enough, there was a flop!

They did it again, and I noticed it was the same flop when I compared screen shots I took...

So I looked back at my hand histories... turns out PT3 shows the last flop that had occurred if a player shows a winning hand pre-flop.

I got really nervous when I first saw this that the flop information is recorded on the deal... but, now that I see that it is just a previous flop showing I am not worried about it anymore...

I first noticed this on Stars and then a couple of other sites I looked on...

You can filter for a wide variety of situations in PT3, including many permutations of 3-betting and raising without going to showdown, but I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to do. What exactly are you looking to see?

I know many people have done so, though I personally have not so I don't know which is easiest.

poker-strategy.org does do business with us so they will be able to get you a copy of PT3.

This is the first time I've heard of this particular issue - could you please attach a hand history causing this problem to a support ticket so that we can investigate and get this fixed? We'd really appreciate it.
