What is the exact message that you are receiving? Try contacting Norton and see what they recommend. If you do contact them and get a response, please provide us with the details

Installed and imported fine from HH files I keep (although with loads of errors because I play some O8). However, upon going to the tourney tab there's a few play chip and freeroll tourneys it's counting as real money and I can't get rid of them?

We have not added any type of purging functionality yet. Could you send me a few of the play hand histories via the PokerTracker support system. If they are getting marked as real money, I would like to get that fixed.

Best regards,

Derek

Norton gave me an upgrade to the 2008 version and that seemed to do the trick. No explanation to what the problem was with the older versions.....

One bug I found already is that when filtering for Called a Steal attemp against my blind, there are still hands included that I three bet.

Any idea on when the PT3 will be ready for use on the ipoker network?

Please attach one of these hands to a support ticket and I'll get it fixed.

It will be a few weeks before more sites are added. Right now, I'm focusing on getting the known bugs fixed. After that, I'll be focusing on the HUD. Once that's ready, then I'll be churning out new site support.

I've found another bug in beta 2 I think. Today I've played a session on Stars and a session on FT but all the hands imported as Party hands for some reason. The only thing I've changed from yesterday when they imported correctly is I now have all sites under my one alias where as yesterday every site was seperate.

Every other player at the tables is correctly listed under Stars or FT, it's only me thats changed.

PT3 repeatedly crashes about 30-40 minutes in when I try to import hands from a directory of FT hh's created by PT2. No error message, just the Windows message that the program has crashed. I tried rebooting and restarting, etc, nothing worked. I don't know if it is a time issue or a particular file causing this. Worse is that when I try import again, unlike PT2, it doesn't seem to recognize the files it has imported and skip them, so it goes for another 30-40 minutes or so importing the same hands, listing all as duplicates, then crashes.

I guess I can try to figure out the order it is reading the files in from the directory and then manually remove the files after they are read in. What order does it use? Alphabetical by file name? Date? Current sort order in the directory?

In my experience, the import is alphabetical. I had the same issues, so check this out if you like:

PT3 hangs after i import about 500 hands. When i stop and restart the import it doesnt import the rest of my hands, just lays idle. Any ideas?

It'd be nice if PT3 skipped over duplicate files. Right now, it tries to import them and finds that each hand is duplicate.. and it does it very slowly.

I have a folder full of all my datamined hands, and I imported into PT3 the first time in about a half hour (which was really impressive for like 300k hands). I got 100k or so more hands and had PT3 import from the folder, and it's taken it 3 hours to get through all the duplicates. It's just arrived at the new hands and seems to be importing them very quickly.

Edit: Nothing else is using my SQL or anything. It's just running way slower on duplicate hands than new hands for some reason.

Do you mean on some reports where it indicates the site the table was played on?

I think I've isolated and fixed most of the import crashing bugs. Try the next beta version when it comes out (hopefully tomorrow or early Wednesday).

I'll see what I can do about this.

Yes, the top 3 tables are at FT, the others are Stars.

And to be clear, this only happened after you set your FTP alias to your Party screen name? And the rest of the players from this table have the sessions listed as FTP?

No, my alias is set to my PokerStars name.

Yes, all other players are correct.

Okay, I will look into it. Thanks for the details.

are the 3bet calculations correct?

seem too high. for January (30,000 hands) i was 3bet 13% of the time according to PT3. i know from having used HH in the past, that the average 3bet % for players is usually 3 or 4%.

what i did with PT3 was filter for "raised first in" and then later added the "facing 3bet" filter, and divided the hands.

It still has to open the file and read it from disk checking the hands one by one in the database to check if it's a dupe or not. It can't skip entire files since there might be an unimported hand within. How will it know which files to skip?

Is there a hacked up / third party HUD for PT3beta2 yet?

If I understand the OP's problem correctly - The proper thing to do, is simply organize your datamined hands better. When you add a new group of datamined hands, to your main Mined HH folder, put them in their own, new folder. Then simply manually import the new mined hands, that you put in their own folder, and PT3 wont read any duplicates.
