so somewhere must have been hands lost in the process. why is that and what can i do to get them back in (filters are also unchecked)
I see that - if you separate your alias again, do you see those sessions under the appropriate player name?

I notice there's a large discrepancy from the big blind - if you filter to BB hands only can we narrow it down to a more manageable size of hands? If you pick a specific day can we get it down to a few hundred hands where we have a discrepancy?

I found the one day this month with only a few hands played and had 39 BB hands. When I filtered for action PFR and raise, both showed the same 4 hands. Without the raise filter the PFRs where 10.26% PT3 and 12.1% HEM this seems to show a HEM error in the PFR as 10.26% of 39 is 4.0014.

hi,

no unfortunatley not. i play on 3 sites. for one now it shows ive played only 142 hands where it should be around 3k and it shows only one instead of all days.

anything i can do? best would probably then be reimport all the hands, but those would be all duplicates. or should i try doing an import into a fresh database? my old one had some error messages while housekeeping (sorry, did not make a ss )

If you had problems during housekeeping that could cause problems. After adding or removing aliases you need to rebuild the cache, and if that wasn't done correctly then the numbers might not be right.
Please enable logging and restart PT3 then rerun Housekeeping with the default options plus the Reindex option. Let it complete and if you get any errors attach the PokerTracker.log file to a Support ticket.

Please include a summary of the problem in your ticket.

I'm glad to hear our stats are working out accurately

You'll need to contact HEM to get their issue resolved, of course.

I suspect there's no help from this place but I simply want my money back for a service I paid for that didn't work "for me." I'd also like to get Poker Tracker and SQL off my very private computer. Here's my post. If you want to know how mad I am just imagine Harrington with his few strands of white hair on fire.

If you want to try Poker Tracker, take the free one month offer. Don't pay for it up front. I bought it, $89, due to a recommendation in Harrington's "Online Cash Games." It's a good Harrington book, per usual. It's 500 pages(!) and, unlike some otherwise good 2+2 books I own, it's well bound--you can open the pages flat and it doesn't fall apart. I like Harrington's books for the poker examples/thought problems. In this book he talks up HUD programs and his examples use HUD examples. So, I bought Poker Tracker. I've always worried that such programs would junk up my screen but he made an impressive case for them.

Turns out that the SQL database for Poker Tracker would not install on my computer and, in fact, one of their screens got frozen on my screen and I messed around with it for 2-3 hours to no avail. The SQL folks are database geniuses no doubt but they don't have a clue about human interface. If you looked up user-ugly in the dictionary it would simply say "SQL."

I have emailed Poker Tracker and SQL for installation help with no helpful response. They seem to think I should waste more hours of my time doing my own research on their own website. I bought Poker Tracker to use, not practice researching. I then asked for my money back with no response whatsoever. I posted a request for my money back on the website and they blew it off.

Right now I would just like to get Poker Tracker and SQL off of my computer --they won't let Windows7 uninstall, of course. I don't want to waste more hours of my life plodding through their website. I have many bad things to say about Poker Tracker and their lack of customer service--but it wouldn't help, would it? I enjoy playing poker and don't need a lot of additional bs.

If anybody can help me with how to uninstall these programs I would be grateful.

if you can't get SQL loaded on your W7 computer, and good lord can't get it uninstall then I am amazed you can even use a browser

Please check the FAQ: PT3 HUD which has solutions to common issues and a link to how to report your problem if it doesn't help.

Can you please tell the development team that we really want the HUD back for Bodog. Even if they can just release the version with the hand grabber working again that would be better than nothing. The fishes are having too much fun playing each other, while the reg await this release.

Quick question about the float stat - I see there is float flop, turn, and river. I'm looking for bet turn vs missed turn cbet in position. I assume this is float turn? What is float flop? Bet vs missed flop cbet? Thanks

Is there a way to add rakeback to your graph?? What about for Stars since they have a VIP program??

This will be in the next release, which I expect within the next day or two now. There was a slight complication related to retrieving the name of the active player.

You correct in both cases.

If you have a rakeback custom stat (there are some available for download from the "Get More" section) you can add it to the graph. To do this you need to enable the Sessions Stats option on the graph, and configure the rakeback stat to "Sum Results" to see a running total.

Hello great PT support. I have a few questions actually :

1) I've heard there is a method that you can join several aliases as Hero - for the situation you have played under different usernames on the same site/network, what is it?

2) I have some observed hands imported. Unfortunately I'm only using one database, is it possible to create another database and export my observed hands there now? Will that keep the notes on other players?

3) The main DB is on my desktop, but I sometimes play on my laptop. I always export the hands I play on the laptop there, but AFAIK it doesn't export the notes I make during play don't get exported. Any way to do this? Backup DB that has this option exports the whole DB as far as I can see...

Thx!

(1) See the Tutorial: Aliases for details on how to set this up.

(2) Yes you could do this. Or you could keep the observed hands - they won't harm anything by being there.

(3) In the backup section create a backup just of "Aggregated Notes". When you restore that on your other system it will just merge your new notes in and not damage any of your other data.

The Tutorial: Backup and Restore explains how to do this.

Thanks, sounds great. Followup on 2) - if I have millions of hands and I keep adding them won't it slow down performance eventually? Isn't it faster if I delete say hands from old levels once I move up?

I only have 2 mil hands now but just wondering...is there a limit where the dbase gets too bloated and searches become slow
01-26-2011 , 03:49 PM
Purging is extremely slow - if you keep the cache at 100% you shouldn't have trouble with a reasonably new computer. I've personally tested up to a 15M hand database without trouble, and I've received anecdotal reports of no problems from people with databases 3x larger than that.

Just started the trial version of PT3 for Omaha and can't seem to get PLO/8 hands imported. Anyone able to do this? I keep getting an unrecognized file error.
