Kraada meant the database cache in PT3. Have a look at the status bar at the bottom of PT3 – does it say 100% for all sections listed? If not you need to run Database > Housekeeping.

Yes, you can build a custom stats like that, and for nearly anything that you can think of.
Have a look at the "Get More" section for some examples of stats which have been created and shared by us and PT3 users, and the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics for how to build them.

I don't use HEM myself, and there are a lot of threads discussing the differences, so I'm not going to try to give you a full answer on that one, but you can create or download pretty much any custom stat in PT3 and use it in reports or the HUD.

PT3 and HEM are completely separate so you shouldn't have any problems running them together, although using both HUDs at the same time could potentially introduce some conflict, and we'll definitely load your system more.

You can use any stats, including custom stats, for Auto Rate rules.

Poker tracker would not update itself to show stats on the new players every time that I get moved to another table in an MTT.

Also, how do you get poker tracker to reset hero's stats when I sit at a new table?

Im just downloaded pt3 and I cannont get the postgres database to coporate .

after I dowloaded postgres and clicked on pt3 I click ok on the dats base config and it says unable to connect to database.

I will pay someone $5 to help me get this up and running on stars or ftp i have aim/skype Teamviewer etc.

Please update to the latest version 3.09. That should fix the Full Tilt import issue, but if you still have errors please report your problem.


Which site do you play at? Some sites do not write information about the new table to their hand histories, so PT3 does not know that you have been moved.

That isn't currently possible but it is a request that the development team are aware of.


If you have used another tracker try the password "postgrespass" instead.
If it's not that, how did you install PostgreSQL? Did PT3 install it for you or did you do it manually?

the same is happening with the "tooltip window" when i put the mouse over some hud stat. if the stat is close enough to the screen margin, the "tooltip window" just come off the visible screen.

anyway, it's nice to know that you are aware and have those bugs on to-do list even if they are not the highest priority.

I just deleted everything and tried to start over, I re downloaded everything and still the same problem. I download the pt3 and its fine, I click on pt3 and it brings me to the postgres database screen where i can click connect or cancel, I click connect and it says unable to connect to data base.


I went through and deleted all postgres and pt3 and tried reinstalling them and still the same issue. Is there a way we can set up a teamviewr session? or someone help me on a website where we can chat back and forth (aim skype)

If you upgrade to our most recent beta (3.09, available on our download page), those hands will import properly.

sorry if this has been answered somewhere amongst the thread already, i tried to find but without any luck.

is it possible to set minimum hand requirements on specific stat groups (as opposed to the minimum hand setting in the hud options). i found one post from a couple of years back saying this was not possible. just wondering if it had been implemented in the meantime (or was planned to be in the future sometime)?

No, you can't specify a minimum hands requirement per group. I will remind the devs about this request.

appreciate the response. i know they have this on hem but i prefer pt and its feature would love to see in there.

My HUD doesnt show for some players, on some tables.. On one table the stats are shown for one player, then on another table the same players stats arent shown? The cache is at 100% as well.. Any reason for this??

PS: I have to close then restart Pokertracker for all stats to show, but doesnt help when I keep changing tables and it takes a while to load

PT is not showing the end results of my rush tourneys

Is this only happening for Rush tournaments or for others as well? There have been intermittent reports of Full Tilt failing to write tournament summaries which would cause this sort of behavior.

Random question: will PT3 be compatible with the new Stars Home Games software they've recently implemented? If not automatically, is this going to be really difficult to implement?

Yes – Home Games should work in the next release. I don't have a date for this yet but I don't expect it to be long.

Hey another question, can someone please explain what cluster actually does to the database? Also would this decrease the time taken to load HUD stats on tables? The problem isnt what I thought it was before. First I run PT3 and basically the HUD stats load on all the players on the table as per normal, but if someone leaves and another player joins their HUD stats dont seem to be coming up unless I close PT3 and re-launch it again.

Any ideas?

Cluster physically reorders the data in the database so that when a sequence scan is required the hard drive head does not need to seek all over the platters to find data.

Clustering will not improve HUD responsiveness as the HUD queries are indexed and do not perform sequence scans (if they did, you'd never get a HUD from large databases).

For the most part at this point, clustering is not necessary.
