Is that for tournaments? Currently PT3 only shows the EV of individual hands, so that doesn't translate to monetary EV.

Our Rush HUD works pretty well, but we have a 60 day free trial so you can try it out.
If you already have HEM installed then PT3 can use the same PostgreSQL installation, just use the password "postgrespass" (instead of the PT3 default "dbpass").

Yes, it is for HUSNGs. How do I determine how many buy-ins below Ev I am down given that info??

You cannot make those conversions directly - you could be down in chip EV but have it not affect the tournament outcome at all.

Simple example: You grind your 1500 stack up to 2200 without going to showdown, and your opponent therefore has 800 chips. You get it all in preflop with AA vs JJ and lose, thus you are down in chip EV, and have a stack of 1400 to his stack of 1600. If you go on to win the tournament anyway (assuming neutral chip-EV for the rest of the tournament), you were -cEV but it didn't affect your actual outcome any.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. So there is no way to get an idea what your expected ROI over a given sample should be??

hi.

the playback feature of all hands in a tourny with hud stats up. beats the universal replayer by far - but, is there a way to resize that playback window?

I'm not sure how one would even begin to mathematically calculate this. Do you also say your expected ROI should have been higher if you didn't get dealt AA as often as expected over the sample? If you were dealt KK as often as expected but all of the times you got it were in the early stages of the tournament and thus your net win in chips was low, would you "expect" to have a higher ROI to compensate?

I believe this question is really very difficult, and needs something far more complex and nuanced than EV to calculate things - and I'm not sure it even exists for tournaments that have more than push/fold stages to them.

Thanks for your kind words! The replayer is not currently resizeable, but this has been requested previously and we are planning to implement these functions, though I don't have an estimated date on their arrival at this point in time.

I'm getting that stupid database error and am tilted. I sent in a support ticket ~14 hours ago and no response. Hoping this can get fixed by tomorrow!

Where do i find the filters this thread asks for http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...t=1&PHPSESSID= .
"Chance to Steal Blinds"
"Filters..." again. Under "Blind Status" click on "Either Blind." Now under "Vol. Put $ In Pot" click on "Put Money In."
“Hands With Between…Players Seeing The Flop” change the range from “0 to 10 players” to “2 to 2 players.”
And so on.
12-17-2010 , 10:06 PM
My hud only works when i sit out, as soon as i sit back in it stops registering other players stats. How do i fix it please?

You should get a response within 24 hours at the latest - it's normally much quicker than that but it depends on what time of day you sent it.

That's a pretty old post, so will refer to PT2. Check out the Tutorial: Filters for PT3 - if there are any specific filters you can't find, please ask.

I assume that this is for PokerStars?
That suggests that you don't have things configured correctly to import your hand history files - please read the PokerStars Configuration Guide in the Documentation.

I just wan't to know where do i access the filters he refers to but on PT3. They must be under new names?

Have you looked through the filter tabs? The information is all there.

The ones you mention in particular are either on the General tab (# of players at the table, position off of the button) or Actions -> Preflop tab (VP$IP, chance to steal, particular blinds if you'd rather do position that way).

I've changed a site and I play in Euros now. Is there a way to change a currency in PT so that everything including the graph is shown in euros? Ty
12-20-2010 , 10:22 AM
Yes – you can change your Global Currency via the menu Configure > Configure Currency.

and it stays in $, only session switches to euros

+ another problem... I play on Entraction (GoPlayClub) and some hands where I end up all in and win are not imported it says:

Entraction: Error: Invalid pot size/winnings for hand #1994780765 (calculated pot: $19.68; reported winnings: $0.00) (Hand #1994780765)

How to solve this?

PT3 is v3.07.1 beta
12-20-2010 , 01:02 PM
To see the amount won in your global currency you will need to add to the Amount Won (Global) stat to your reports.

Several issues have been fixed since that version, and I think that includes Entraction errors like that, so please update.

Download page
PT3 Build History / Release Notes
(Either version should be fine for Entraction.)

I've already done that but the number are completely the same...
12-20-2010 , 03:59 PM
In that case please report your problem and include screenshots to illustrate and we'll investigate further.

Sorry if this has already been Asked and Answered, but I have an ongoing problem with PT3 interracting with Rush poker. Often times, it confuses the Rush HE hands with Omaha hands (I don;t play Omaha), and I get a red warning that they were unable to import my Omaha hands.

Sometimes I have to reboot 5 or 6 times before it gets it right. Problem started when I downloaded latest release. I reinstalled older version, but it still happens.

I run Windows 7.

Have searched but can't find an answer:

PT3
Could someone tell me how to filter/report the % hands/$ won when I have called or re-raised a hand on any street post-flop?

Thanks in advance

Please attach any hands that are causing these problems to a support ticket so that we can investigate further for you. This is the first I've heard of any problem like this.

Hello, I am using pokertracker 3 v.3.08 on a brand new mac powerbook. When I run my pokerstars tables (6-12) with pokertracker 3 it will start experiencing some bursts of lag after about 30-40 minutes. This causes me to time out and I can't play my hands correctly. If I shut down tracker and play without the hud (ugghh) then it doesn't lag at all. Please let me know what can be done about this since I am cerain my comp is more than capable of handling your software and pokerstars. thank you.
