The new Merge Beta software on Mac writes the hand histories to the Application package rather than a "normal" folder, which I understand is non-standard Mac behaviour. We're hoping that they will change this before they release the software properly, but if not we'll find a way around it, but it won't currently work for Auto Import.

Greetings,

I'm having a little difficulty getting the player stat boxes to show up at the right table positions on UB. I have set all of my preferred seats there, and I have also done this within the "Cereus Network Configuation" tab for PT3.

What I've noticed is that my own personal player stats box will show up at whichever seat I am actually "supposed" to be at. For instance, if I am seat 3 in the HH, my player stats box will show up at seat 3 and not seat 5, which I have selected as my preferred seat at a 9-handed table. I've tested this out with several different tournaments in order to confirm it was the case. Consequently, this had led me to believe that the problem lies not with the UB software, but rather with how I've configured PT3. I'm fairly certain that I've selected the preferred seats for both UB correctly, so I'm a little stumped here. Any insight into what I'm doing wrong here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Please check the Tutorial: Preferred Seating. For Cereus AP and UB are configured separately, so make sure that you have the correct site configured, and note that the stats will not position correctly until the first hand has been imported (although for tournaments you should be in the first hand anyway, so that shouldn't be the issue here).
If things still aren't working please report your problem - include the hand history file and a screenshot along with the log files showing a single tournament.
Thanks.

Hey,

I'm a SnG Player, and I want to know if it's possible to filter HUD stats by # of players at table, as opposed to blind level.

In this thread you mentioned that one can access your HUD files at this url.

I don't see any HUD files there. Am I overlooking them, or have they been removed?

Also, is it a cash game configuration or a tournament config?

Thanks

Edit: P.S. How the heck does one pm someone in this forum? I couldn't seem to find a way to pm Kraada.

Edit again: Can someone please tell me what the numbers in parenthesis in this post mean? I'm guessing they're VPIP and PFR. Can someone confirm? Thanks!

You can do that with Player Ranges - see the Tutorial: Configuring HUD Options

I think that Kraada may be in the process of updating his HUD thread, but his layout is still available in the "Get More" section.

There are both.

I think there is a minimum post requirement before you can PM. You may find it easier to use the main PokerTracker 3 Forum - there's no need to PM, we read every post. If you start a new thread there we'll help you with any issues you have.

Yes, the numbers will be VP$IP and PFR - when people quote a player as being "x/y", without any labels, then they are nearly always referring to those main two PokerTracker stats.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about the min post count for pm rights. That makes sense.

Thank you very much - you've been most helpful!

ok... I had to re-install Pokerstars to fix some other BS problem...

Now, I cant get PT3 to detect hand histories... It imports them, but when you go to PS Configuration it says "Pokerstars is not configured to save HH's to disc"

I tried re-setting the file save directories on both and no luck...

now my HUD is all over the place...

????
11-15-2010 , 03:51 AM
well, the HH is being imported, and I got the HUD to display properly... but it still says HH is not set up on PS to be saved...

is it always like this? I never paid attention>

If the hands importing then you don't need to worry about that message - it just means something wasn't detected, it won't stop anything working.

Once in awhile I'll play a session and then look at my "session by time" to see how much money I won/lost and it will be off by a few hundred dollars. This time I went back and looked at the processed hands and noticed that one table is not showing up in my "Sessions" section. Even if I manual import it again. The money I made on this table accounts for the discrepancy.

Is this normal? What could I do to fix this?

I also remember this table not showing the HUD while I was playing.

What site were the tables on, and what version of PT3 are you currently running? Was there anything special about those tables?
11-15-2010 , 05:11 PM
the tables were all on Full Tilt and I'm running PT3- 3.07.7

Nothing special about the table that didn't get picked up. Same as the other 12 tables I was playing.

Please attach the hand histories to a support ticket then so that we can investigate further for you.

My wife figured it out. I opened up the HH and found that there were 3 spaces on the top that my other HH's didn't have. I then moved the text up to the top and saved it. This time when I manually imported it, it worked.

Is this a common problem? I'm going to have my wife write a program that will go through my other HH's and see if pokertracker missed anything else because of this line spacing problem.

Please attach the original hand history file (if you kept a copy of it, or find any others with the same problem) to a Support ticket as Kraada suggested.
Thanks

Not yet, and it's not clear at what point in time it will become available.

What software are you using to allow others to see your screen?

How to?
11-17-2010 , 04:48 PM
Hi

So I've filtered some hands/spots I would like to review with some mates and would like to export these specific hand histories - how to?

Right now only solution I've found is to double click each hand (+/-90) wait for pop up, click Hand history, Copy paste into notepad -> send to replayer.

It must exist a way to collectively retrive the Hands in question from PT3 software
11-17-2010 , 04:55 PM
I've asked for a way to export currently filtered hands previously. AFAIK, it's not available as of yet.
