i have a little problem with my PT3, the hud only appears in the first table that i open.

In the rest of the tables PT3 track the hands but there's no hud :/ (i play at partypoker)

any idea? (sry if any fault with my english :$)

I checked, I have that version, it does not work on stars or tilt.

Probably a stupidly easy fix, but i forgot how. I think I set up PT3 to have my default Username as 'myname', Cereus Network (used to play there, not anymore), but I want it to be 'myname' pokerstars.

It's a problem because whenever I refresh the page im looking at for update etc, it reverts to the wrong page, where I was lookin at my stats/graph whatever for 'myname' pokerstars, now im looking at stats/graph w/e for 'myname' cereus network. which is becoming incredibly frustrating because it gets laggy and is pretty slow to change around.

I imagine it's a quick fix, can someone tell me how?

Do you have your poker site installed in English? PT3 needs the site installed in English in order to work properly.

Then please report this problem so that we can investigate further for you.

You can link those two names together by following this tutorial and then you'll see all of your stats combined. Alternately, you can change just the default by clicking the Settings button and clicking Search next to "My Screen Name" and choose the name at the correct network.

I downloaded the free trial and it worked fine the first couple days. But now when I try to open the program and either try to import hands or even just try to look at anything on the program it freezes up. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I get some help fixing this problem?

Does pt3 not work on rush tournament

Im looking to purchase.

My desktop is a mac and my laptop is a PC, I assume that will be a conflict?

It does, but you will need to be using v3.07.3 Beta, which is not the latest version (there is an issue with the Rush HUD in 3.07.4 but 3.07.5 will fix that and should be out within a few days now). You can download v3.07.3 here.

How long till the new beta is out with bodog hud fix?

I have two questions. I have searched a bunch using Google and the Twoplustwo forum search and haven't found anyone else addressing these questions.

I am currently running the PT3 trial on a Mac with Snow Leopard.

1) When I sit down at a table at Pokerstars, the HUD only shows stats for the current session being played. It doesn't show info for me and other players from the full DB. Is there something I need to do to fix this? or maybe, is it constricted to this for the trial?

2) Is there any way of slightly adjusting the HUD stat boxes for the overlay of the table. A couple of the boxes make it very difficult to see player stacks.

Barring anything new appearing in our current alpha testing, likely not more than a day or two.

(1) Your stats are always session-only. This is by design in order to show you what others may think of your play at the current table. Your opponents' stats are lifetime.

(2) Secondary click the box and drag it to where you would like it to be, then PT Icon -> Save Layout to save the location for the future. You can set Secondary Click to a right click in the System Preferences -> Mouse preferences. If you are on a laptop, you can also configure it for a two-finger click - any Secondary Click will work.

This is mainly a bug fix release, but we've introduced Winamax support as well. Due to the limited number of Winamax testers we have on the alpha team, there may be some issues, so please keep a close eye on the results and stats that PokerTracker is reporting and let us know if you notice anything odd or incorrect.

The rest of the error message that is cut off matters quite a bit as to what the solution is going to be for you. Please open PT3 with the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu and report this problem so that we can investigate further for you.

The expected results of your hands were you returned your equity at the point of an all-in, rather than running the cards out.

So on the graph, if you were 80% to win a hand when the money went in, and there was $100 in the pot, and you contributed half of it ($50) your all-in EV line would go to +30. This differs for any individual hand from the actual results as in that case your actual results would either be +50 or -50.

Any possibility of calculating AIEV as a less than 100% of starting stack requirement so as to minimize the effect of minimal left over bets? Moreso for PLO than NL although I'm sure it has some effect there as well.

TBH, I'm not sure where a good line would be... 90%? 95%?

Or you could look into doing what I had wanted for limit and have PT3 calculate a street by street equity (as if there was no further action).

All in EV is therefore based on your total contribution to the pot, not just your last call/raise/bet?

Street-by-street equity has been discussed as a potential feature to add for future releases, but I don't know when that sort of thing will be available. I can certainly see how it would be useful for players playing a game like PLO.

I'm now running 3.07.5 on my Mac.

All the Omaha sng's and tourneys played today are shown as losses despite the actual result. In the previous version it listed my results correctly.

The install itself only takes a few seconds.
A minor database updated is done this time and that is pretty quick too. You will need to Rebuild Cache via Database > Housekeeping at some point, but the database change is pretty minor and there is no need to do the cache rebuild immediately - just start it when you go to bed or something.


Please read the Tournaments FAQ and Tutorial: Tournament Auto Detection - if something isn't being detected correctly when it should please attach the hand history (and summary if you have them) files to a Support ticket so that we can investigate.
Check that you have the "tournament detect" options ticked on auto/manual import.
