i have been emailing PT support (normally very efficient, one of the two Mikes) for over two weeks

i am trying to give PT some money, buying it for a friend of mine to show him what he is missing out on,

and i have had a problem, that i ended up getting someone on here to fix for me,

in over two weeks, not one reply,

is PT support having some problems?

We use our own custom support software on our website and we have a presence here on 2+2. We don't publish any support email addresses because they aren't used.

Please post (or PM me) the ticket number, or check Support > My Tickets in the Side Navigation bar of the PT3 website and see if your posts are there. If your replies aren't there then they won't have been recieved by our support techs.

just checked my-ticks
and have seen that none of the recent mails have gone through, no idea why as they were to right address, i clicked reply, but whatever,
as i said, support has been very good, and i imagine they will continue to be so now i have back into site and begun again, which i see on my-tics has gone through,

At this point in time PT3 does not have color-coded notes.

When using the button to convert an already created statistic from one section to another (e.g. from Holdem Cash Player Statistics to Holdem Tourney Player Statistics), the Description field was previously left blank; it should be filled in now with the text from the stat that was to be converted.

I see there is an option to mark a hand for review. How do I then find those hands after I've finished my session? (If it is something to do with reports can you please explain how to do it as I don't really know how they work)

Personally I'd go with the latest 8.3.x version - 8.3.11 last time I looked.
8.4 is fine too, though, as long as you are using the latest Beta of PT3 (we found a default setting in 8.4 which was causing some very slow queries).

managed to get postgresql installed, but now when i start pt its asking me to create a new db. i didnt delete the old one

sigh, whiterider, something funky is happening, everytime i start up pokertracker, and click on begin import, it takes for ever, like 10mins before my hud starts, it starts to download all the hands i have played on the site and puts them into the duplicates sections, its really tilting, when playing on ipoker, it auto starts....is there a setting or something?

also, it starts to upload my hands that i played during that 10mins, then it stops uploading the new hands, and the hud only works on 1table, and doesnt update stats??????

this is only on mirco gaming, ipokers appears to be ok!

im using pt3 v3.07.2 beta

Click the blue Browse link and select your old database then click Connect and you should be able to connect to the existing database.

"unable to login to database (template 1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?"

Hey there.

I think I did something really stupid: After my last session I recognized that PT3 (3.06.2) did not import the very last hand. (I lost half a stack and instaquit quite tilted). I was irritated and played a few more hands hoping that PT would import the "forgotten" hand which did not happen.
Then I asked stars to send me the last 50 hands via E-Mail and I found the missing hand there. I just copy and pasted this one hand into the .txt-document of this table in the "processed" files and manually imported this .txt-file - it seemed to work, the hand appeared in the graph/sessions etc.

But the problem is that since this "manual import" heroīs HUD does not appear and all the pop upīs are gone (just blank, no numbers)...

Any ideas what I can do? Just housekeeping/updating cache? Playing on a Mac btw.

That means that PT3 cannot connect to PostgreSQL at all - are you running PT3 as Administrator?

One manual import shouldn't make a difference - did you change the auto import directory though? That would cause problems.

my tournament results are showing up 1, 3 etc then saying that i won nothing? therefore my graph is like - $250 when im really up like $150... any idea why?

Hi Kraada,

I just downloaded the new Beta 3.07 and the problem was solved after the automatic database update.

I didnīt change the directory, just pasted the text into the .txt-file and it looked exactly like the auto-imported hands (font size etc). Hm, strange, but now itīs working again

Thanks for the reply! Btw how can it happen that single hands are just not imported? I only recognized it because of the big pot I lost. Another strange thing was that the number of hands shown in the info box at the stars tables has fit the number of hands shown in the graph but this one hand hasnīt been imported.

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, I recently signed up for PT3s offer for free PT3 when I sign up with 888poker.

Anyway, it said not to start playing until my account is verified. I have received an email from PT3 Support, but it was a confirmation email, and I'm not sure if that's just an automated email to confirm my support email went through or it means my account has been verified. Anyone know?
