Last night my Laptop had an unusual shutdown and today I've opened PT3, began auto import only to be told that FTP needs configuring for auto-import.
Also, when I opened FTP all my settings have reverted back to the default settings from when I installed, ie; table themes, notification options, etc.
Can anyone tell me how to rectify the auto import issue? I found a file for processed file directory, one with some history in, and the import attempted to import a load of duplicated hands. Also, when I had fired up a table the HUD didn't kick in so I must've done something wrong.

when was the first version of pokertracker released? and when did online poker start?

I'm not certain when the first PokerTracker version was released, I know it was before 2003, though the original PT version was well before my time.

The first large online poker site for real money was Planet Poker, which started dealing real money hands January 1, 1998. See here for more details.

is there some possibility to show stats and graph from 1 player vs a certain player? if not maybe you can add a vs player filter soon?

This isn't currently possible but has been requested before - I don't know when it will be added, though.
You can see your results against other players on the "vs Player" tab, though.

Are you allowed to run this while running Full Tilt?

do you have to start this after you start Full Tilt / quit before you quit Full Tilt?

You are allowed to use PT3 while running and playing at Full Tilt. You can start it before, during or after a Full Tilt session as you prefer. The only thing to note is that if you play a whole session at Full Tilt the hands will remain unimported until you run the auto import (or manual import), and if you want to use the HUD you need to be importing while you play.

My pokertracker's HUD only shows up on hand history replays for cash games. I am currently playing on pokerstars. It works on tournaments too though so I don't know what is the problem. Please help

is there any way to return the hud back to default without reinstalling poker tracker?

i have messed mine up trying to get it to display and now i want it back how it was before i messed it up etc.

Yes in the Configure --> Configure HUD section, choose your profile you want to reset at the top left then click Options --> Replace Current With Default.

are there any poker clients im not allowed to use HUDs on? is poker stars ok? i thought they didnt allow some things (not sure what, just thought i read that once, could be well wrong)

Cake don't allow HUDs and therefore PT3's HUD does not work on Cake.
None of PT3's functionality breaks any site's terms - it is fully allowed at all supported sites.

wow this is whole new world to me. cant believe i played before without such tools. and survived.

so far im just using the defaults. but ive already figured out who is tight and who is loose and who is tight aggressive haha. so much easier than using memory.

only thing is, in tourns it keeps going back to 1 hand, like 123456, then back to 1. but i have it set to 0 which it thought it meant it displays all hands from the tourn. confused, help appreciated.

also, is therer a way to get tournament history instantly from poker stars?

Did you check the "Use Stats From Current Blind Level Only" checkbox on the Hud Options tab? If so, the stats will "reset" when the blinds go up - unless you've played with a given player on those blind before.

If you email Stars's support they should be able to send you hands and tournament summaries for tournaments you've previously played.

yeah i ended up ding the request tourn results thing. PITA. will need to spend half a day just entering results. sigh. might go back to FT.

how did i do this game without my stats before, i guess it was just for something to do in spare time.

anyway enough dribble.

is there a way i can view my last 2 days worth of data in the "details" section, instead of my all time stats? i want to compare how im doing now im analysing my game.

Do you know why don't I get any HUD/stats displayed at the ongame tables with PT3 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard?? Does PT3 give HUD on ongame for MAC?
I plan on buying the software but it would be useless if PT3 doesn't support ongame on MAC for the HUD.

There is an AHK script that'll do that automatically for you available here. I haven't tried it personally but I hear it works well.

Yes, create a filter for the last two days. See the Tutorial: Filters for more details on how to use our filter system.

I am useing the trial of PT 3 and every 4 to 6 or so hands the stats on all players including mine reset to hand 1 again, making the stas useless which really sucks since I only have less than 30 days left and have been dealing with this problem since I started the Trial. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I am still waiting for help from support. Support asked for som compressed files form my tracker folder and a pic of my HUD options. If anyone can help I have those and will be happy to send them. Thanks in advance for any help. If I cant get this fixed and get a true feel for PT3 I guess my decision is an easy 1. HEM all the way.
