Help would be much appreciated.
Those hands certainly should still be there. Is it possible you were using a different database? Have you tried running a Manual Import on your processed hands directory?

The HUD for PT3 works for tournament games as well as cash, correct?
05-05-2010 , 12:05 AM
I recently downloaded the newest version of PT3. When i go to configure my HUD and 'apply' it, a message always pops up saying "poker tracker 3 is not responding" and always shuts down. If im lucky it will go back to the default HUD. So after 3 times of this I wisened up and tried to configure the default HUD and apply that with the same luck. Anything will help.

When i try to Auto-Import the hud wont come up and the hands dont get imported, i was on 7 tables and i was on the waiting list on 1 of them, the HUD popped up for that, but not the rest of the tables that i was in.. In the box where the hands imported list down, there was only a few lines of Red Writing sayin that the potsize was incorrect etc.. what should i do?

This is not an official PokerTracker script, but you can find it here.

Yes though the Stud tracker works slightly differently, you have to request different codes for each machine.

For the most part, there are a couple of sites it doesn't work on tournaments on at the moment. I believe Microgaming and Boss tournaments aren't working at this point but all other non-Cake networks should work.

Could you attach the hand histories in question to a support ticket so that we can investigate the cause of the error? Thanks.

I got a new pc and want to move my database over how do i go about this.

Hi
PT3 on a mac :

Right I tried the trial PT3 and was working ok enough and then 2 days before end of trial I lost my HH from app supp folder etc

I got files sent to me by Stars but the thing is the data is not getting processed by my version of PT3. I cant read any info about hands I just played in HE summary although the HUD is reading the info as I play.
The graphs etc in summary were working during trial so all I would expect to be different is the missing HH that I will try to import as though I had never lost them. Any help with that would be great.

I got micro HE and Omaha and Full HE. I sent a query but they said there was a problem due to my playing a few hands of draw. That is BS.

And it seems to be very very laggy and processor heavy which I think should be improved? ie A friend says his HEM runs better under emulation on similar spec.

Please any help.

I just downloaded the newest version, I'm on the beta one. I started playing with auto-import on and got this error message:
"Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: PokerTracker is configured to import into an outdated database. This must be corrected before an import can succeed."

So I ran housekeeping with all of the options checked, took 14 hours to rebuild and reindex and everything, and I'm still getting:
"Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: PokerTracker is configured to import into an outdated database. This must be corrected before an import can succeed."

Help! I'm worthless without my HUD

On your current computer in PT3 click File --> Backup. Backup everything you want to transfer. Install PT3 on the new system, move the backup file over and click File --> Restore. Wait for it to complete.

Your registration code is good for use on up to two machines at the same time, so you shouldn't have any problems.

The error from playing a hand of draw would just be saying the hand wasn't imported. It wouldn't cause any problems. Updating from the trial to the full version shouldn't change anything other than allowing you to do a little more, so I'm not sure why that would have made any difference.

Could you please report your lag problems? We haven't had any major lag problems in a while now.

Restart PT3 and set that database as Active via the Database Management window and the database should be updated, at which point you can run the housekeeping and everything should work fine.

Sorry re ^

Aside from lag I'm not processing my HH to read them in the general summary. They get read in the HUD but do not get processed into the database to check graphs and all that stuff.

Also do you know how to input the HH files that I got sent from Stars? Just txt. files.

If i uninstall and reinstall pokertracker will i still have my hands??

You need to click "Refresh" to see newly imported hands - if the stats are updating in the HUD then they are importing to your database. If you still can't see them please report your problem.
To import HH files use Manual Import.

Basically, yes. The hands are stored in a PostgreSQL database so as long as you don't delete or uninstall any postgres files your databases won't be affected.
Make sure you don't delete the PokerTracker 3\Processed folder, though - these are your original hand history files and can be useful as a last resort.
The best thing to do, though, is to make a backup of everything using File > Backup.

I restarted PT3 and got this error message:

Error updating database: PokerTracker 3 Database
Error:
Unable to execute query: ALTER TABLE omaha_limit ADD COLUMN limit_currency char(3);; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: column "limit_currency" of relation "omaha_limit" already exists )

I'm going to run housekeeping, just vacuuming, analyzing, and clustering for now. Any more advice?

Housekeeping won't help in this situation, I don't think.
What version of PT3 were you using before you updated?

I think you will probably find that the easiest way around this is to create a new database and re-import your hands, either from the original hand history files (PokerTracker 3\Processed) or by exporting from your existing database.
Depending on what version you updated from, and exactly what has happened it's possible that installing an intermediate version might fix things (e.g. if you updated straight from Build 5.2 to v3.07 then installing 3.06.2 and running it once might help).

I'm having problems with the hud. Is it possible to change the positioning of the stat boxes of each player? Now the boxes are positioned randomly on the table, with some of the boxes right in front of a player or infront of my cards so that each time I get dealt a hand I have to resize the table for a second to 'peek' at my cards. it's really annoying and I rather play without a hud than continue like this.

Also I still get the message 'Invalid PostgreSQL connction object' on pokertracker each time I try to see a players stats on pokertracker itself.

Is the first problem caused by the site or is there a way to move the boxes? I currently have the problem on ultimate bet. the 'Invalid PostgreSQL connction object' problem I have on every site I've tried
05-06-2010 , 04:09 PM
You can right-click-drag the stats to wherever you want them on the HUD and then PT-icon > Save Layout.
FAQ: PT3 HUD

The postgres connection problem sounds odd if you have hands importing and the HUD working - please report your problem and someone will help you sort it out.

Right I tried to import HH from processed Folder but after a while in the third or fourth attempt it just fails and beach balls.

Hayyelpp please ??
05-07-2010 , 06:42 PM
Using the manual import? The manual import should be able to handle that sort of thing.

Could you report the freeze so that we can see if anything else is going on here?
