Hi,

Im new to Pokertracker and I just got the trial version and want to buy the complete version. My questions are regarding the tournament section.

It does not seem to have complete tourney information, such as number of players,my result, amount of rebuy's in rebuy tournament, etc

Also any other really important thing i should know would be nice.

Thanks

You'll need to input that information yourself. The easiest way to do it is to request your tournament histories (Requsts > Tournament History... in PokerStars), copy the email you get into a text file, and import the file into PT3.

Please read the Tournaments FAQ.

(You'll get a faster answer if you post in our sponsored forum or the main PokerTracker 3 Forum.)

I am having difficulties importing hands into PT2 thus unable to use a hud. Is there a tutorial on here or anything that can get me going? Thanks for any help.

Moved this here as we don't really have a main PT2/PAHUD thread anymore and it's probably your best chance at getting some help.

Please post your problem in the PT2 forums. Make sure you have the latest version of PT2 first, though - PT2 Download Page, and have read the help link on the auto import window for your site.

You Full Tilt Rush players are going to LOVE us! I'm playing rush right now with a fully functional, instantly updating HUD.

It starts alpha testing soon. We hope to go to beta soon after!

^^^ You mean HUD using Full Tilt Rush Players

Your post implies that your work appeals to the masses. It doesn't, sorry.

You guys are a effing joke for real. Ive never been against hud and I use huds in my normal cashgames but HUDS will completely destroy the whole idea behind RushPoker. Great job at screwing a great new concept in poker this way.

Did it ever occur to your shallow minds that alot of players might like rush because there is no use of HUDs? (even HUD using players like me)

God..

I've been hearing it for the past 5 years now... Huds will destroy online poker. Huds will destroy this, Huds will destroy that.

The fact is, Huds don't destroy the games. They haven't to this point, and I don't see it happening any time soon.

We are listening to our customers. The vast majority of our users who play these tables want their stats. It's optional, so you can turn it off if you don't want to use it.

Couldn't disagree more. For me, there is ONE reason to play Rush poker: speed. I can instafold crap hands and move on. HUD's do nothing at all to "completely destroy" this speed advantage, and I'm glad PokerTracker is making a functional HUD.

I play on a Mac, but also use my Windows side (via Fusion vm, using Windows 7). Basically I play on PS on the Mac side, Bodog on Windows (there's no Bodog Mac client.) However, I occasionally play on PS on the Windows side.

Will it be possible to use the same database for both applications? If yes, it a theoretical possibility only or has anyone out there done it? And regardless the answer, if I want to run PT3 on both Mac and Windows (on the same machine), will I be able to do so with a single license?

Edit: I see the answer re the license question (one license will be enough); I still want to know about the Windows and Mac versions using the same database.

If you are using a VM and have it networked to the host machine then you can share a database just as you would on any other network - see the Database / PostgreSQL FAQ for information.

Your VM probably counts as a separate computer (in terms of connecting to our registration server) so this will use both 'slots' of your license, but since 1 license allows you to use 2 computers this is fine.

Do you use screenscaping to accomplish this, and is that within the TOS of Full Tilt?
01-28-2010 , 03:28 PM
I'm not sure of the mechanics exactly, but nothing that PT3 does breaks any site's terms.

No, but if it doesn't work with your table mods please let us know.

Yes, we comply with all of the sites wishes in order to keep PokerTracker as approved software on all the sites we support including Full Tilt.

Re the database issue: thank you.

Re the license issue: yes, I already thought of that; it doesn't bother me because this is the only machine I play on, but I assume there are others whom it kind of screws.

hi the limit filters do not have a clear structure, also there is no last x hands filter. can i expect an improvement in the filter area?
another nice new feature would be allin ev graph for plo, allin ev for bb graph and sd/no sd graph. a graph that shows how many % or hands of which limits i played over a certain time.

2 problems i have:
if i filter for a special site and the screenname there is not the main screenname from the alias i created my screenname sometimes dissappears completely from the software.
if i run housekeeping it steals all ram of my computer, i can not use my computer anymore because everything is so slow and lagging.

Both Filters and Graphs will have further options added, although I don't know when.

The alias/filter problem is fixed for Beta 30.2, due for release pretty soon.

Housekeeping has a lot of work to do, and will use as much resource as it can to get it done as fast as possible.
If this causes problems then you may want to run it while you're away from your computer - overnight for instance.

Hi all,
I am trying to configure my pkertracker for a mac. It says I already have postgres on my computer. The problem is that I dont know what server, port, user and password to enter. does anyone know where I could find this information? or is it generic for all?

thanks,
weassy

houskeeping needs more then 1 night to run.
an option to save some ressources for not pokertracker work would be nice.
