mac user here. having a problem:

when manually importing hands from emails sometimes the HUD simple closes and dont import them.

theres also a problem that sometimes after big sessions of 40 or 60 tourneys the hud disappear and I have to close and re open the tracker.

Anybody able to tell me, after playing a Tourney with auto import on, what directory do processed hand histories get moved to??

After installing your advanced hud v3.5, I am having a hard time setting it as my default HUD. You say:
If you wish to set this layout to the default layout, click on the PT Icon -> Change Profile -> Set the Current Active
Profile as Default.

Where is this located? Under configure hud, at the top I see a profile pulldown menu that lets me select either default cash, default tourney, or your HUD, but on the options menu to the right of that there is no option to set your HUD as default. I don't see this PT Icon you said to click on to set the current as active.

web based tracker just for your hands...not an aggregate of everyone's hands. separate desktop application to pull data from web and display stats on your tables...

If there is alread a sticky, please point me in the right direction.

Just got PT3. My HUD only works on one table. I multi table so how do I configure it to work on all the tables I play. Also, how do I change the HUD so it shows VPIP / PFR / PF 3-bet frequenc / PF 4-bet frequency?

Not gonna hijack but this pretty much exists now.

If you set up a remote database, you pretty much have this now.

if we can treat rush hands as a separate level from regular NL hands, and filter them out of the player stats for the HUD that would be good. I don't want Rush hands to effect the stats I have on other players, and I would like to see my own stats sortable.

The PT-icon is on the table when the HUD is active.

The HUD should work at all your tables - please read the FAQ: PT3 HUD and if you continue to have trouble report your problem.

i use:
PT3 latest beta
PGSQL 8.4
WinXP
2BG RAM
AMD duol core
Pokerstars
notes.xml is fine, checked that
HH folders are all empty
Housekeeping is done and worked properly
i defragmented my HD
PT3 and PGAdmin are not blocked by my firewall

even though i only use 2 databases with a total of around 2 million hands it takes a very long time for the popup stats to show up, the tables get recognized pretty fast and it doesnt take long til the HUD with the stats shows up but when clicking the Popup to get more detailed stats its empty and takes a really long time til it fills with data

so anyone have an idea what the problem could be here?

I'm just starting to use the free trial searches on my PT3 but the launch btn isn't opening up the tables i want am i doing something wrong.

Also, are there other table/player tracking software packages i should consider.

There have been some table-opening issues for some users - the next beta release (due within the next few days) should fix these, so please try that when it comes out and let us know if you still have problems.

I am having some problems getting the adv hud v3.5 going. I installed it from scratch (no previous versions) and I am not getting the same layout or as many stats as you showed in your example. When I click on it, I only get a preflop stats pop up. Here is how my hud looks, right now, and here is your sample on the right. What changes do I need to make? Thanks.

Yes, that's right - look out for Beta 30.2.
There will be an announcement here, but if you're running a beta version of PT3 now then you will be notified of a new release when you start PT3 up.

I haven't imported HUDs or anything, but it looks like the different boxes may just be on top of each other in yours. Try dragging some stuff around and see if the other stuff shows beneath it.
