Hands in Euros should be importing now, but there is no currency conversion at the moment.

Make sure you are using Beta 29.1.

PT3 Build History / Release Notes

The other cause of problems is interpretting the Euro symbol so you need to have Windows Regional Settings set to English.

If you continue to have trouble please report your problem with log files, screenshots and hand history files.

Fairly new to the program. Just wondering if there is anyway I can add players VPIP/PF numbers based on position to the HUD, or the popup when I click the HUD. Thanks

yes,

go to configure --> configure HUD

Under "Group" tab make sure "Default Popup" is highlighted, then go to "stats" tab and decide what you want to have. The process for adding/deleting stuff is a little confusing but not too bad.

Please see the tutorial: Statistic Properties.

For future reference please post PT3 questions in the PokerTracker sponsored forum or in the PokerTracker 3 Forum.

Can someone tell me what to do about this error?

2009/12/17 22:00:57: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Please see the HUD Guides in the Documentation and the Tutorial: Managing HUD Groups.

Kraada's How To: Advanced HUD Configuration takes things further and explains some of the more advanced possibilities.

If there is something specific you don't understand or want to know please feel free to ask.

That sort of thing is often a firewall issue - please read our Firewall Guide.
If that doesn't help please report your problem so that we can investigate further.

hey, is the mac version on time?

Because I want to go to SN next year and wanted to started the year with pt3 for mac
12-18-2009 , 10:18 AM
We're still hoping to have a version out on or around Christmas, barring any unforseen problems arising in the next few days. . .
12-18-2009 , 08:18 PM
I was wondering if you can still utilize pokertracker and PAHud with Full Tilt for on screen stats. I vaguely remember something about this several months ago but couldn't find it. Thanks to anyone who can help.

What are the advantages of Poker Tracker 3 over PT2? I have PT2.

Technical support for PT2 will be terminated around Mar 2010 so I will have to upgrade around then anyway; but I was wondering what, if any, benefits their might be to upgrade sooner.

How do I get PT3 to keep track of bounties I collect in knockout tournaments? Seems like it would be something relatively easy and common, but I just started using the software. For example, I played in a $6.00+$0.50 90 player KO SNG and got paid $27 so that's what PT3 says I won. But I collected a few bounties along the way and actually won more than $27. I plan to play a lot of these, so I need a nice, easy system to reflect accurate winnings

The next release of PT3 (due within the next week or so barring major problems in alpha testing) will import bounty information but please send us your example hand history files (and summary files, if it's a site which writes them) attached to a support ticket so that we can check that your site is supported correctly.
Thanks.

just upgrade to HEM. it's 100x better than PT3
12-19-2009 , 05:22 AM
PT3 has many improvements - faster imports, more stats (e.g. 3-bets, plus you can build or import custom stats if what you want isn't built in), custom reports, more filters, more configurable HUD, access to TableTracker (optional, for an additional subscription) to quickly find the best tables across all sites you play.
We have a 60 day free trial so you can see for yourself.
We also have Documentation and FAQs and Tutorials if you want to read further.
12-19-2009 , 05:25 AM
Yes, they still work, although PT2 is no longer for sale now that PT3 is out.
We have a 60 day free trial of PT3 (which has a built-in HUD) if you want to try it out.

Has anyone ever done or heard of 32+ tables being supported by pokertracker at once? I use poker copilot right now for my mac but will be willing to get a strong windows machine if pokertracker can support that many tables. Any tips would be great, thanks.

Developed instincts>PT3

Instincts arrive at a decision faster than statistical analization...Drop the crutch imo

Huds+32tables=headache

Yes, alternately you can wait a few and try out the PT3 version for Mac which we are still hoping to have out before Christmas.

Two points:
(1) You can do deep analysis while not at the tables to improve your game, this will improve both your instincts and your decision making skills.

(2) If you do the analysis away from the table and come up with something like: "When a player opens the button with an attempt to steal of X (over at least Y hands), I should resteal with any ace, any pair or any broadway", then it is relatively easy to act on it quickly if all you need to do is look at one number. You could even color code your numbers so all you need to do is look at the color.

What site do you play at?

What version of PT3 are you using?
IF it's not Beta 29.1 please update.
