Even after you configure it successfully?

Are you running PT3 as administrator? If not, try running it as administrator, and that ought to fix things for you.

When you run a hand report and it comes with x number of hands is there any way or replaying all of them rather than just one at a time?

Also is there a way to stop the note editor from being transparent and just make it solid?

Further question about my previous post... is there any way of manually selecting more than 1 hand from the report and replay them (not necessarily all of them)?

Also I made my own report to come up with hands that have notes on them so when I mark a hand ingame they come up. Is this the way to go about it?

Also while I'm here, is there any way to make a filter to one show hand reports for today, which automatically changes? Similarly a filter for the last week/last month?

It depends on the report; some built in reports in PT3 have a little play icon at the bottom right and you can use that to load all the hands up in the replayer. Custom reports don't have this facility but it is planned.

On the Hud Options tab (Configure --> Configure Hud --> Hud Options) you can set the note editor to be completely solid.

These filters are planned and will be rolled out with the next batch of filters. I don't know exactly when that will be but I'd expect something sooner rather than later.

Ty for your help. The date filters and the play icon for selected hands in custom reports would be really useful.

One other thing. Is there a way to do custom groupings in reports such as by holecards, by month, by stake, by position, by showdown hands, by action preflop or by a custom grouping.

If the above doesn't make much sense what I kinda want as an example are reports that show something like:

Holecard | # of hands | More stats...
AA
AK
..
..
22

or

Street hand ended | # of hands | More stats...

Preflop
Flop
Turn
River
Showdown

etc

Perhaps this is too much but it was just something that HEM has (although not through the software but through manually editing reports) and I assumed I would be able to do it on PT3.

It would also be good if you could configure the report to show a hand window so that if you clicked one of the groups it would show the relevant hands in the hand window.

You can do that sort of thing with Custom Reports.
There are some example reports in the Repository which should give you some ideas.

Ty for your post. I understand where I was going wrong as I was trying to do the report in Holdem Cash Hand instead of Holdem Cash Player Statistics, which is where it works.

However, when I click a group (say holecards AKo) I can't replay them or see the individual hands which would be very useful.
10-13-2009 , 03:46 PM
You should be able to replay those as a group. Select the group you want so that the hands appear in the report below, then click the little play icon at the bottom right of the report on the bottom. Then all of the hands in that report will be loaded up in the replayer.

Your grouped hole cards can be seen on the Hands tab, which will allow you to playback all hands as Kraada suggests.

You cannot yet play back hands in this way in a custom report, although we hope this functionality will be added.
You also can't expand custom reports of that type - you would have to build another report in the Holdem Cash Hands section to see the individual hands.

In my home strat forum we have a stats thread where people can post positional stats, etc. and get feedback. It would be nice if these tabs (and not just the graphs tab) could be exported as JPG's.

A minor thing, obviously, but it would be helpful, IMO.

You can export all reports as CSVs, and import them into Excel or OpenOffice Calc - it's true it's not as pretty but it's quite functional. The only other thing I can think of is taking a screenshot and sending that around. (Here's a tutorial on creating screenshots, fwiw.)

Why should I get table tracker? Does it really work?

Note: I consider myself a decent table bum hunter, what does table tracker do to enhance my bum hunting skills?

TableTracker is server based. That means you can get tables from all the sites it supports in seconds. We have servers running that are constantly monitoring all the sites for you, so you don't have to do it. You simply run the software and take your pick of tables. No need to open up all the poker clients on your computer and wait for a possibly lengthy scan of all the different clients.
It also displays stats from your database(s) for the tables found and has an advanced scoring system to help you identify the best tables.

So the real value of TT is if you play on various sites trying to bum hunt. What if I only play on stars? Is there a reason to subscribe to TT in that case?
10-15-2009 , 09:42 AM
There tend to be so many tables on Stars that you can't see which is best - TT will be quicker than opening the maximum number of tables and waiting for the HUD to appear on all of them.
You have some free TT searches as part of your registration of PT3, so give it a try and see what you think.

Played a few steps tourneys on stars and made it step 3, which is an $82 buyin, and so basically poker tracker thinks i lost that, plus the step 1 & 2 I played as well which really messes up my overall results.

Any way I can get rid of these entries?

Hi All,

I just downloaded Poker Tracker 3.0 and I'm testing it out in an FPP tournament. It is not showing any pop up screens or stats on me or my opponents. Is there something I need to configure for this to happen?

Thanks,
IO

There's probably a pokertracker faq somewhere that you should be reading

OK. Here is my problem. When I import my hands to poker tracker.....the amount won or lost on poker tracker is always different than the actual amount on cake. Furthermore, the amount won on poker tracker is always more than actual for a winning session and the amount lost on poker tracker is always less than actual for a losing session. I am importing the hands manually after each session. I close all my tables one by one and wait until i am sitting out to close a table. It always seems to be around 20 percent off each way. What is difficult to understand is that my MGR for my sessions is dead on to the cent for what cake shows in my rakeback stats so i dont think i am missing any hands. Thoughts?
10-22-2009 , 07:28 AM
my problem:
the winning of the sessions is not correct, for example if i import a hand like this:
---------------
Dealing pocket cards
Dealing to ME: [Td, Ac]
other raises $24 to $24
other calls $24
pererkfful1 folds
rumddanoff folds
--- Dealing flop [3c, As, Tc]
ME bets $42
other raises $114 to $114
ME raises $258 to $300
other raises $883.35 to $997.35 [all in]
ME calls $346.95 [all in]
--- Dealing flop [3c, As, Tc]
--- Dealing turn [Qh]
--- Dealing river [6d]

Summary:
Main pot: $1350 won by ME ($1348)
Seat 4: pererddkul1 ($194.35), net: -$3
Seat 6: rumddanoff ($296.85), net: -$6
Seat 8: ME ($1348), net: +$677.95, [Td, Ac] (TWO_PAIR ACE, TEN)

----------------------

the amount won is 677,95 Dollar, but in my stats i have won 1028 dollar! its always the same if someone went all in and has more chips then me! any ideas?

Click Database --> Database Management --> Purge... (see the Tutorial: Selective Purge for more details)

Please take a look at the PokerStars Configuration Guide and make sure you have things set up properly.

Our documentation page and FAQ forum are both pretty good.

Could you attach some of the hands that don't import the correct winning amount to a support ticket so that we can investigate?

Hey I wanted to let everyone know I've made a wicked PT3 HUD and HUD popup (based on 116 custom statistics) that I am now offering for sale.

Here's a pic of the popup. It displays known hand ranges that opponents have performed specified actions with preflop.

And here's a pic of my HUD:

And here's a link to the site with more detailed info.

I'm going to go with no.

And probably ban.

I have a similar HUD, you can see in my videos that I will offer up for free.
