Clustering is like defragging; so after a huge import the cluster will take a lot longer than clustering a database that's been previously clustered before. (You don't need to cluster super often, either.)
I thought there would be a reason why their isn't an expected time on there. Thanks for your help.

latest update solved my super long start up lag (which was from 5-15 minutes)..now I its operational in a reasonable amount of time.

Sammy,

Glad to hear it!

My clustering is still going after 13hours. I have a duo-core processor and 4GB memory but it is a laptop and maybe the HD isn't good enough (Hitachi ATA)?

2nd time PT3 crached on <12 tables for 2 days, I didint have a single crash while 24tabling with HEM during the 15 days trial, think I made my mind what Im gonna buy.

What do I need to select with the filter to check the stats on KK all-in pre? selecting KK under "hole-cards", raise all-in under "actions", and call all-in under "facing" doesn't do it because I know there is a helluva lot more than 4 of these over 30K hands. Thanks

Is there a better tracker than PT3?

I replied to your post in the PT forum - there is no need to cross-post; we read every post.

Also, the search feature is your friend.

Alright, so you know how when PokerTracker3 is purchased, you get to use it on 2 computers? Well, I had an old computer, and I used the code on that once. That computer broke, so I built myself a new computer. Right now I'm running Windows XP, but I plan to upgrade to Windows 7 and reformat when it comes out.

Will I be fine when I reformat and have to use the code again?

I have a similar question. I had it on an old computer. deinstalled it, and no longer own that computer. Now I want to put my second licenses on my laptop for when I travel.

That will be fine - the license is good for use on two computers that you own at the same time.
If you have any problems you can contact us via the Support system and we'll get them sorted.

another question possibly related to this. After I got PT3 to auto-import, the tables are not showing a quick look on the tables unless I already have a database on them, then their hands are not showing up. any ideas PT3 gurus?

Any update on the mac version? i would seriously have bought this yesterday if it was out, is a fall release still looking realistic?

We are still optimistic that we can get a free beta out this fall. The commercial (aka stable) release is still to be determined. It really depends on how well testing goes.

The HUD should be updating once you have more than one hand imported from a table. Are you running Build 5.2 or Beta 29.1? If you're running the former, please try updating to the latter and see if that helps.

PT3 Omaha is under active development. I don't have pricing details at this point, but I would expect to see some kind of beta releases starting at some point this winter. (Of course, that's assuming development continues at the pace it's currently going.)

Thank you for the quick reply and yes the HUD should be updating once I have more than one hand imported from a table, but its not. its not updating the quick look on the tables at all. If I do a search against the villian in PT3 I can see his stats. I am running Build 5.2 but can't find the beta 29.1 to update.

You can find Beta 29.1 at the bottom of the download page, download and install the upgrade version while PT3 is closed and that should fix this issue for you.

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned in the 6000+ other posts in the "New Software..." thread, but I thought this was important (and probably common) enough to mention.

When viewing the data under the General Tab for Tournaments, I can tell if/when filters are active by the tiny text under the filters buttons that shows which specific table types, etc. are listed. I have recently discovered, however, that the data which appears can be filtered without the tiny text being present.

In the past, I have noticed that my general tab stats didn't always match up perfectly with data from the details or tournaments tabs, but I didn't know why. Then, a few days ago, my general tab only listed a few tourneys, while all of the other tabs looked complete. I refreshed, did housekeeping, etc. trying to fix the problem, but nothing worked. I was stumped, but rebooting my machine fixed the problem.

The same thing happened today, and I randomly clicked the button to "clear" filters, and all of my tourney data came back into the general tab. Here's what's especially weird about this:

- I am certain that I did not apply any filters before this happened

- None of my saved filters would have generated the limits reflected in the incomplete data

- There was, without a doubt, no tiny text whatsoever indicating that any filters were active, yet clearing filters solved the problem.

This is an obvious glitch in the new release, and it is likely the cause of what I've read others post about concerning incomplete, blank, or otherwise wacky data under the general tab. The worst part is that the data could be only slightly inaccurate, depending on how the filters limit what's displayed, thereby escaping notice of many users.

From now on, I will always click the "clear" button before looking at any of the data under my general tab.

I hope this helps...

IMO beta 29.1 is really solid and runs really well.

Now can we get the EV graphs fixed? Or add SBucks?

Unfortunately we haven't been able to reproduce this issue ourselves. Please open PT3 with Logging Enabled and, if this issue happens again, report it so that we can figure out what's going on in your case that causes filters to be involved that you aren't aware of.

For what it's worth, when there are filters there's also small text at the top right telling you exactly which filters are enabled.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear Beta 29.1 is working well for you. I know the EV functionality is planned to be fixed but I don't know exactly when it will happen. I suspect building SBucks will be possible once all of those features are implemented, though I cannot be 100% sure; I will see if I can find out more about those feature plans for you, though.

So I downloaded Beta 29.1 (upgrade) and have a new problem. Every time I try to start up PT3 I keep getting a prompt to configure the PostgreSQL. Very frustrating.
