Ok let me be clear. When you go into poker tracker you click on final hands and then click on one pair and it will show you all the hands you had when you had one pair. It will also show you the amount you won or lost on each hand.

I want to find out the number of hands where I lost money vs the amount of hands where I made money.

I'm sure a lot of you haven't seen this yet, so I'm going to copy it here:

We understand that some Micro Stakes players cannot afford the full version of PT3 for $89.99 and are missing out on the most valuable online poker tool. Therefore, we have decided to release a Micro Stakes edition on a limited trial run to gauge interest levels. This new Micro Stakes edition provides you with all of the same great features as the full version except at a much lower price of $44.99 USD. The only restrictions are that it is limited to the following (Micro) stakes and below:
  • No-Limit: $0.10/$0.25
  • Limit: $0.25/$0.50
  • Tourney/SnG: $11 Buyin
Play like a professional with PokerTracker 3 Holdem Micro Stakes edition and move up limits faster. As you graduate from Micro Stakes, you can then upgrade the Micro Stakes edition to the full version of PokerTracker 3 for a seamless transition to those higher limits.

Since this is a limited trial run, there are no guarantees that this offer or product will last so act quickly and purchase PokerTracker 3 Holdem - Micro Stakes today!

You have a couple of options here.

(1) You can use filters to see how many hands you've won (or lost) then subtract to figure out the other value. Use the filter Misc --> Results --> Won Hand to filter for times you won the hand.

(2) You can build a custom statistic to tally how many times you made money and a different custom statistic to tally how many times you lost money, then display both statistics in the report. See the Custom Statistics and Reports FAQ as well as the Custom Statistics Guide on the documentation page for help getting started down this road.

Question:

Ever since the most recent Poker Stars update I am experiencing a problem with my PT3. When I import the hand histories, everything is normal. PT3 imports the proper amount and it takes the usual time. However, when I go to the stats pages no new information is added...even after pushing the refresh button, as well as clearing and redefining filters.

Basically since the newest PS update, my PT3 imports the hand but does update them in the stats pages.

Any ideas on what's wrong or how I can fix it?

Thanks for the help,
WAZZZO

You're using a filter by limits. If you disable your filter you will see your data. There was a change to the hand history format for PokerStars a couple of days ago that caused hands to import as a different limit ($1 NL USD instead of $1 NL). This will be fixed in a patch that will be released later today.

linux HUD working pleeeeeease

You need to talk to the Wine people about getting transparency protocols implemented, at which point the HUD will work properly.

I don't believe there are any plans for a native Linux version of PT3 at this time, though the Mac version is slated to be released sometime this fall or early winter.

Assuming you don't yet support betfair, is there a 3rd party hand converter that can import betfair hands ionto pt3? Or when will you support this site?

Build 5.2 Released

Fixed:
  • TableTracker: Full Tilt table opening
  • Import: PokerStars USD change
  • Registration: Startup issues for some users when internet connection isn't available

You will need to export affected PokerStars sessions, purge them from your database, then re-import them to get the correct limit definition.

does pt3 has the option of seeing stats only for the current session as HEM does?
08-07-2009 , 04:49 PM
If you mouseover a statistic and wait for the tooltip it will show you the stat's value for this session only. There is no other way to see opponent's stats as session only at this point in time.

We're looking into adding easier to view session stats in the HUD as its been an extremely popular request.

quick problem:

in the general tab for Texas Holdem cash games, in players statistics on the bottom, my VP$IP is 24.32 and my PFR is 23.18

however, when I go to the details tab, it says my Vol. Put $ in Pot is 23.16 and my Raised Flop (PFR) is 22.02

when I go to my name in Player Summary under the Summary tab, my VP$IP is also 23.16 and my PFR is also 22.02

why is this? FWIW, I've closed/reopened PT3, I've refreshed, etc., etc.

Are you currently using any filters? Try clearing filters if so and see if that fixes things for you.

When I auto-import my DON SNG play from Pokerstars, a lot of other game types appear that are unrecognized (refer to SS). I'm not playing any of those game types, but have in the distant past. Any ideas?

Hi,

I got the update that fixed the Stars USD problem. However, the hands that were imported while the issue wasnt fixed are still listed as seperate stakes in general tab. Will you release a update that will merge these hands with their respected groups?

Thanks.

See the Tutorial Auto Import Settings. You want to make sure that you have the Move Processed Files section set properly.

(Also your SS shows the manual import tab, not the auto import tab . . .)

I haven't heard of a plan to release such a patch. However, what you can do is to export just those limits via the Database --> Database Management --> Export ... window and then purge the hands. Reimport the hands that you exported and they'll be of the proper limit.

I have been having this problem for the last few weeks...

I play a session on FTP. PT auto imports the hands, no problem.

I close down FTP and PT.

I start a new session a few hours later, I click auto import and PT imports all of the hands from the previous session again. It is classified as duplicates, so it doesnt ruin the DB, but it is annoying that it wont move the processed files.

I have the "move processed files" option on and a folder named. Why is it doing this? Why will PT not process the files and move them so it doesnt import each session twice?

Thanks.
08-09-2009 , 11:38 AM
FTP is locking the files so PT3 cannot move them if the FTP client is still open when you stop auto importing. You need to close FTP first, then stop the auto import and the files will be moved.

In other news, I've just released a new edition of the How To: Advanced HUD Configuration. This update is for tournament players only. It now includes current M as a statistic (and details how it was built).

Enjoy!

How do I auto import my hand history from desktop folder? Is it possible?
08-10-2009 , 04:40 AM
You should not write hand histories to the Desktop, there are Windows restrictions about using it and it may well cause problems.
Please configure your poker site to write hands to a different folder.

There seems to be a recently introduced bug sometime around 3.00 build 5.2 when importing PokerStars tournament histories. If someone tries to import a summary of a tournament that is not finished, PT3 sets tourney_holdem_results.val_finish to 1 for all players regardless of their finish.

This is a known issue which will be fixed in the next release.
