Just wondering ... does PH support any other rooms apart from PokerStars? I think it used to support FTP and Ongame. And are still all Draw variants supported?

Thanks in advance,

I get the following error when opening Pokerhands;

A timeout has occured. If you were establishing a connection, increase Timeout value in ConnectionString. If you were executing a command, increate the CommandTimeout value in ConnectionString or in your NpgsqlCommand object.

Is there a limit on how many hands you can import into Pokerhands?
How do I fix this error?
Can I delete hands from the database?

I think the FT and Stars support both broke with an client updates. Someone was kind enough to use the (posted) Source Code to fix the Stars support, however I am not sure if FTs was too. I only used it to track Draw and Triple Draw on Stars. OnGame I cannot speak on at all, because I was kicked off there four years ago. Since Tony posted the source code for this before he left, some programmer could repair the site support, and probably even add new ones.

Try this thread:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...2009-a-273001/

This one is for PokerHands, which is a different program than fpdb.

Just got this set up, loving it, was comforting to see how much I am up after I just had my biggest downswing ever (I did run insanely hot for quite a while there).

TY to OP and guys who have put the fixes in, GrindUnumb etc.

Ahh_snap, did you get it working?

1. Database type: PostgreSQL
2. Name: Pokerhands DB 2010-07-08 03:03:43
3. Path: ???????

I cant figure out what i am supposed to type in "path". I have tried a bit of everything but nothing seems to work.

I'd say re-install PH and when you are doing the initial set up of the database, make sure you use your PT3 settings for the PostgreSQL database (default is username: postgres / password: dbpass).

FWIW, the "path" field next to my working database is "%postgre%/pokerhandsdb" (no quote marks), but I don't think that will help if you didn't set it up right at that initial screen when installing.

Figured out how set up a database now but it won't import any hands. Is there some patch that will fix this?

I'm hopelessly confused.

The links at the head of this thread appear to point to a site, http://www.cartridgesoftware.com/ , with a lapsed domain registration that has been reclaimed by one of those squatter search pages.

Yet it's obviously a very recent thread, because people have been installing this software in July 2010.

Is there something I'm missing? Is the site going out a very recent development?

Yes, I have the same Problem.

http://www.cartridgesoftware.com/ seems to be down for good.

It would be very nice if someone could upload the latest installer/bundle, and maybe add the fixed .exe.

Edit: Found something here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=15URDZVJ

Thanks in advance,
DaineMudda

I updated the OP with presumably the latest source links on MegaUpload.

Please inform me via PM or "report post" function if other links should be added.

Ok, tried to install it but were not able to do it...

I tried to install it by copying the patch exe.file into the unzipped pokerhands directory but that does not start it. So can anybody help me here how can i properly install the program?

thanks

You just have to extract the .rar file and then copy the new .exe over the old one. That should do the trick. You don't have to run any installation.

As soon as you have set up a Database and managed to import some Hands it should work. To view your stats you must ofcourse specify your username which you can do at File -> Options -> Pokersite of your choice
After you have done that you should be able to View your statistics when you click "Me" on the right side of the client, of course you must choose the right Pokersite there. If this doesn't work out and if you cannot find other player names then something with your import must be wrong.
I hope this was helpfull.

I am wondering if anyone is still working on the development of this software. If so I would like to propose some improvements.

1. It would be great to be able to set Filters for the Graph, e.g. Date Intervals
2. It would be very nice if there would be an option to show Rake on the Summary Page, aswell as in the Session Tab.

Hopefully there is still someone working on the software, because it is the only Tracking tool for Badgui which works that I know.

Yes! Full Tilt and Everest Poker are also supported (Hold'Em). Five Card Draw is PokerStars only though.

Well I was seriously thinking about it but 5CD came first. I like rather unknown poker games

I'm sorry about the stats if they are unclear, most are derivatives from hold'em so it goes like:
W$WSD: Won $ When Saw Draw
W$SD: Won $ at Showdown (pretty unclear, I should rename it W$@SD)
CCPD: Cold Call Pre-Draw
CPDR: Call Pre-Draw Raise
LWPC: Limp With Previous Callers
RFI: Raise First In
DB: I call it "Dead Blind", ie: user posting BB to enter the game. I'm not sure if that's quite correct to call it "dead blind" though. There is no stats for donk bets/3bet/4bet at the moment.
Thank you for your encouragements!
What is the meaning of VP$IP and AF?

VP$IP = Volentary put money in Pot Preflop/Predraw (Calling or betting, not checking from the BB, basically how often player wants to see a flop/Draw)

AF= Agression Frequency (Betting+ Raising)/Calling (basically how agressive a player is)
