Hi everyone, if someone found a way to display hud on new PS SnG tables without PT or HEM, don't be too shy and tell us how you have done

Thanks

so, I added the stat "fold to 3 barrel %" to my HUD and it says my percentage is 6900.0 ... could be something off there. fold to 2nd barrel looks ok

also, what about filtering for the graph? i can see the graph for my entire HH but will there be more filtering implemented by stakes, position, dates, things like that?

also, fozzy. i updated my .net framework and i'm still getting the same error message.
pokerhands eventually will work, but i have to close the program a couple of times before it "gets it" sometimes it will hiccup when I switch tabs like between summary and sessions

If you're using Vista, run it in XP compatibility mode and as administrator. That solved my problem of it not saving my database info.

Hi people.

Downloaded pokerhands today, and it works perfectly (play 5CD mostly).

It doesn't seem like this software tracks rake?
I am to lazy to read through the whole thread, but tried to fixed it myself in the different columns u could add.

Is it my own hopelessness or does this software not track rake?

Hey N00b,

I just looked and I don't see them in the list of stats you can add, so it appears not. Maybe a kind request could get that added.

I am getting the following error when trying to import.
Any ideas why this is?

Error on line: PokerStars Game #: 5 Card Draw Limit ($1/$2 USD)
Exception: Input string was not in a correct format.

Tony hasn't posted itt since the middle of June, so either he's super busy and can't get back to the project, or it's abandoned. Hopefully he'll repond here.

It doesn't work with any of the games now. Some slight change to the hh files I would say.

There is a problem with the new Hand-History format.
Thats why it is not possible to import the hands live.

But I found a way to import the HH after the session.
I open the HH in wordpad and replace USD with nothing and save the file.

After that I can import the HH in pokerhands.

Hopefully an update for pokerhands will follow.

Hello everyone,

I havent given any news for quite a long time as some people mentions. Now with all the sites updating their HH the program isn't compatible. I'm going to release an update, at least to put it back on rails. I'm sorry there's no improvement lately, as I am very busy. I wonder if opening the source code would help or not...

Meanwhile I wish to thanks ppl who sent e-mails/private msg/posting in this thread; I'm still seeing great support.

Btw PokerHands is compiled with .NET 2.0. This is by design, as a lot of people still dont have 3.5.

Thanks for responding, it's good to know you're still going to move on with the project. Busy is good though, right?

I don't know about opening the code, but I can tell you I wouldn't be much help. It's been way too long since I programmed basic on a TRS-80... lol

While waiting for the update, would it be possible to import HH and delete dollar sign like above poster said?

Also wonder if there is a way to delete some levels? I would like to see the graph for only my limit play but now I have some pot limit also. Can I delete all the pot limit somehow?
Thanks.

deleting the "usd" works fine!
i do not see an option to display only filtered hands in the graph but a solution could be to move all the pot limit hands to another db?

Think I skip deleting the "usd", had a look and there is just too many. But moving away the pot limit hands to another database sounds good, but how do I do that?

Thanks.

regarding the "usd": well, it's fairly easy to do with the "search and replace" command in any text editor, for example openoffice.

for the pot limit hands: sorry, i think i used "move" a bit too generous... maybe there is an easier way, but you could create two new databases and import the pot limit hands to one db and the limit ones to the other?

Thanks for helping out fawl!

OK I give it a try with the "usd".
I understand the part with different databases, but how would I distinguish which files to import to my new PL database
Please don't tell me I have to open every single file and check if they are PL?

Thanks again.

hehe, no, my idea is not that time-consuming
are you playing at pokerstars? the hand histories for pot limit should then have "pot limit" in the file name while the limit ones only have "limit" in it.

if you have all your hand histories in one folder you can use the windows explorer search function to search for search string pot limit in that folder and it displays only the files for pot limit. if you mark all files directly in the results window, create a new folder and drag them there, they are removed from the original folder and that original folder should now contain only limit hand histories.
does that make sense?

maybe someone has a better idea or tony can help

Hey there,

I'm having an exception when importing 2-7 TD hands with beta 10 :

"input string was not in a correct format"

Ever seen that one before ?
