In some cases (such as yours), Poker Sleuth was unable to read the table name from the hand history file. Consequently, it was never able to figure out the names of the players at the table.

The old page must have been stuck in a cache somewhere.

If the problem is that every stat block is n seats too many to the right or left, you can right-click on a stat block and use the options to rotate the stat blocks. That may help.

I just realized that it may be tricky to get a screenshot where the player names are showing, so don't worry about it.

Oh -- one more thing -- after rotating the layout, you can try saving it by right clicking on a stat block and using the options there. That may fix any tables opened after that point.

That sounds like a failed installation. Please try rebooting and running the installer again, which you can download from http://pokersleuth.com/tools-license-beta.shtml.

If that doesn't work, there should be a file in the $APPDATA\PokerSleuth\ directory called "stderr.log". Please email that file to me at support@pokersleuth.com.

You can then downgrade to an earlier beta that worked for you via the links at http://pokersleuth.com/beta-release-notes.shtml

I just uploaded Poker Sleuth beta version 1.9.0.511. Highlights include:
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes made Poker Sleuth slow to detect new hands on Vista.
  • The Poker Sleuth HUD now works flawlessly on Full Tilt's Rush Poker!
  • More than two dozen other bug fixes and improvements.

I've just uploaded Poker Sleuth Beta version 1.9.0.758.

First, the bad news:
  • This version will reset most statistics and reparse.
Then, the good news:
  • New "Villain's View of Hero" feature. Hold down the "Shift" key and the HUD changes to show you how each opponent sees you, based on the hands you've played together. For example, the VPIP stat will switch to showing the villain's estimate of your VPIP. Release "Shift" to switch back to normal mode.
  • The HUD now shows your opponents' mucked hole cards from the previous hand if they went to the showdown (and it even works with Rush Poker).
  • The starting-hand analysis tabs in the player analyzer got a makeover, and the grid can now be sorted by any column.
  • Many, many bugfixes
If the new HUD features don't show up, delete the old stat-block layouts from %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\PokerSleuth\StatControlGroups\ so you can pick up the new default layouts.

it worked on seuth's end but for some reason my entire db over around 60k hands was only a couple hundred KB

I just uploaded Poker Sleuth Beta version 1.9.0.796, which includes:
  • The HUD now shows each player's equity if the previous hand was an all-in situation
  • Dramatically improved start-up time for large databases
  • Hand histories now include basic statistics on each opponent (VPIP, PFR, and AFq; plus the Villain's View version of each)
  • In the hand reviewer, you can now choose between displaying the player's names or showing only their position
  • Support for posting to OutFlopped from the hand reviewer
  • Many bug fixes

Survey question: on a scale of 1 to 10, how awesome would it be if you could call the Equity Calculator from Excel?

80 smackers is kinda high for a stand alone hud even if it is a nice one.
