Positional stats aren't supported yet, but it's high on my priority list.

I'll add that too. For now, you can see the number of observed hands by hovering the mouse over a player's stats in the HUD.

ok i think i just found a major bug. I just added 4-betting to my hud and it reset my stats. As well as all the stats i have on everyone else. Before i added the new stat to my hud i had 25k hands in sleuth but after adding the new stat it went to 0. I sure hope this can be fixed because if sleuth is gonna **** away all our stats every time we reconfigure the hud it is not marketable viable imho.

i have not been able to reproduce the bug i mentioned in my above post.

The most recent beta reset all stats, as a consequence of some significant changes to the database structure. Could that have been the cause of what you observed?

yes because it also happened right after the update.

an old familiar problem is once again rearing it's head. I just created a file on my desktop called poker and pointed sleuth to said file. I then but a few mined hands in it. Sleuth ain't seeing the hands.

Can you send one of the files to me at support@pokersleuth.com? I'll take a look.

Thanks!

sleuth behaves very strangely when it comes to mined hands. last nigh i was able to get it to read a batch by putting the hands in the auto detected file and it worked just fine. today i put a new batch in the exact same file and it doesn't see them.
07-03-2009 , 05:11 PM
ok i have figured out that if i change the name of the file it will work.
07-03-2009 , 05:32 PM
Does it support Stud, Stud H/L, and Razz?

Interesting! What was the file name before you changed it?

Only Texas Hold'em for now, I'm afraid.

batch_1 was the original file name. It looks like it was just dumb luck though because i tried the same thing again and it didn't work. I'll send you the hands in a minute.

Does this tracker program include EV v. winnings stats by street? No other tracker program has this feature. If it had it, then I would purchase it in a heart beat.

Right now I'm focused on perfecting the HUD, but I do have plans for EV v. winnings. I like your suggestion of breaking the data down by street, and I've added the suggestion to my notes.

FYI, I've uploaded a new beta that includes
  • Many more built-in stats!
  • Support for importing OnGame P5 hands (still working on HUD support)
  • A "Search" box in the Files tab, to make it easier to determine if Poker Sleuth has detected a particular file
  • A reminder in the Directories tab, letting the user know they need to click "Accept" or "OK" before Poker Sleuth will start looking in a newly added directory.
  • Several other small bugfixes

Sorry about that. I released a new beta with a fix around 5 minutes after I got your first crash report. Unfortunately, since Poker Sleuth is crashing on start up for you, the auto-updater doesn't get a chance to run. You will need to manually download the latest beta from here:

How embarrassing. I fixed one bug, but there was another one a few lines later in the code. Unfortunately, it's not in a code path that I can test easily. It only crashes if you have certain poker rooms NOT installed, and I've got around 50 poker rooms installed for testing purposes.

Please download 1.3.0.1499 from http://pokersleuth.com/tools-license-beta.shtml.

To reduce the impact of events like this in the future, I'm going to do 3 things:
  • Set up another machine that I can use to test things like this.
  • Enhance the crash-report program to check for a new version, in case the main program crashed on start-up.
  • Add a place on the website where you can download older versions, so you can go back to a version that worked for you.

Probably that was from your browser's cache.

I don't think you will need it, but if you do let me know.

I didn't see any more crash reports. Is 1.3.0.1499 working out for you?
07-08-2009 , 09:26 AM
it is working now
