On Full Tilt. When in small blind, in DM:Out mode, PSC posts the small blind and CHECKS autopost blinds. It then fails to deal the player out on their next big blind, even though in DM:Out mode.

Also, noticed today, on Poker Stars, in DM:Out mode, autopost unchecked. When the blind rolls around, PSC fails to automatically click Sit Out for me. Table width is 640. Theme is hypersimple.

For FAQ item 14.6, related to slowness. I experimented with different process priority settings in the Misc tab. It seems important for Poker Stars to have strictly lower priority than PSC. When I tried letting Poker Stars have High priority, it caused a lot of lag when pressing buttons.

I just tried a table size of "740" and I still have the same issues with the bet sizing on both PS and FT.

What else can I try?

Am having a problem with the half-pot and pot hotkeys using PokerShortcuts beta. Sometimes post flop they just don't work, in fact I remember a few times trying to bet 1/2p and the bet amount would = 0.

Also it seems like every time I re-open PokerShortcuts the tournament street bet tab reverts back to having "preset bet window with this amount" checked when I want it unchecked.

Hey there just downloaded and been setting up reading the guide, I can't get SNG's to open on stars using tabs A/B. I use FTSC's so am familiar with the settings but it just tells me no suitable games were found even though there were 6 of them displayed for registration in my PS lobby (largest font).

Hi Colin. Are you trying to open turbo's? I had this problem because Stars changed the way it displayed the turbo sng's and I posted earlier in this thread about it.

Let me know which buyin and which lobby (ie black or classic) you are using and I will try and help.

No problem. I've made you an image and tested it and it works fine.

Make sure you don't have PSC running then save this image:



to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\PokerShortcuts\Themes\PSLobbyBlack\SngImages

You can rename the image to something like '$16 NL Hold'em [turbo]1' so it doesn't overwrite the original if you wish to test it first.

Now make sure you are running PSC as an administrator and the new image should show in the dropdown menus for PS SnG's on the 'SnG A Tab'

You should now be able to proceed as before and the Sng's should open.

It looks like PS changed the font on the Hyper-Simple theme... It seems that a lot of buttons are not being detected at various sizes.

I tried the TableClassic theme and did not see a problem... give the other theme a try, and let me know.

I'm capturing some new images for the Hyper-Simple and hope to have them available soon.

If you are using the Hyper-Simple theme, switch to the Table Classic theme... PS made a change and there is a problem with the Hyper-Simple.

If you are already using the Table Classic theme... then tell me exactly what type of tables you are having the 1/2 pot and pot problems on, and I'll try those tables.

The "preset bet window" problem will be fixed in the next release.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

On Poker Stars, just use the Classic table theme for now, until I get the images updated. Stars recently changed the font used on the Hyper-Simple table theme. A number of things in PSC will not work correctly with the Hyper-Simple table theme. Remember to also make the change on the Setup tab to the Poker Stars table theme.

Hey flight2q,

I was able to confirm the FT problem with DM:Out mode. This appears to be related to the dialog box that pops up asking if you want to have the blinds posted. Once that dialog box has been answered, then it seems to work ok. Thanks for letting me know... I hope to have this fixed soon.

Regarding the PS DM:Out mode problem... I believe this is related to the Hyper Simple theme problem that I mentioned in a post a few up. It should work ok with the Classic table theme. Let me know if not.

That's an interesting observation on the process priority for Poker Stars. I will test that out. Thanks for your testing and reporting on this!! It may solve the problem that a couple people have been having regarding slowness.

I have a new version coming very soon with some new images for the HyperSimple theme. I tested the table size of 1000 and 740 and did not have a problem reading the call amount or seeing the call button.

I'd also be interested to see if you have the problem with the Classic table theme (on Stars).

If you still have the same problem seeing the call button when this new version comes out (version 4.0012), check these tips:

Hey Nano,
I forgot to say it was FTP, not PokerStars that I was having the problem with.

It seems to be on EVERY flop - trying to bet full pot or half pot sets the bet window to 0.
I do have a modified table but I calibrated it, and I have NO issues when using FullTiltShortcuts.

Also a feature request; in FTS when you hit 'pot' pre-flop it would be the same as hitting the pot-button on FTP which actually makes the bet amount more than what the current pot really is. It's pretty good for raising over limps or 3betting. Any way we could also get this in PShortcuts?

Also, any word on the backgrounds changing for the current table with pending action?

New Beta Test Release of Poker Shortcuts - Version 4.0012 Beta Release 5/25/09

1. Fixed problem where the setting for "Automatically put the street bet amount in the betting box" on the Street Bet Trny tab was not being saved in the settings correctly.
2. Fixed problem with the "Activate Next Table in Stack" hotkey on the Actions3 tab.
3. Added Checkboxes and additional Buttons to the Debug Display
4. Cleaned up Debug Display
5. Fixed problem with DealMeMode:Out on Stars tables, where Sit Out was not being clicked when the BB came around.
6. Fixed a few problems with detecting buttons on the Poker Stars Hyper-Simple theme (the button images did not match the Stars tables - possible change by PS??).
7. Replaced some of the Button images in the PSTableHyperSimple folder.
8. Changed the table theme files to version 1.01. Added a few new items to these files (see the theme documentation for details).
9. Fixed problem (on FT tables) where the "Auto post blinds" dialog box was not being clicked on NO, if we were in DealMeMode:Out. This would Check the Auto Post Blinds checkbox on the tables, even though we were in "DM:Out" mode.

Known bugs (still in this version) that I have been able to confirm:
1. Problem opening "turbo" sngs on Poker Stars. PS changed the font of the word "turbo" to bold. I plan to have this fixed in the next release, but if you need to open a turbo sng, see these instructions to capture an image yourself:

This problem seems to have been fixed preflop action, but it still happens pretty often postflop.

FYI in the debug tooltip the call and pot number are both blank and it seems like it's much more likely to happen when there isn't a bet in front of me.

I know my stack is blank beacause my table it too big :P

K thanks for the help, I did as instructed, the new image is in the folder in place of the old one and has the same name as the old one, but now there is no $16 turbo on the sng a drop down list at all. I don't get it?
It keeps saving as a JPEG and all the other images are bitmap could that be why it doesn't appear in the list. It only gives me the option to save as JPEG or ALL other types so I wouldn't know how to save it in bitmap form.

The image posted is a JPG, and the images for PSC need to be BMP. Posting BMPs can be difficult because photobucket (and maybe imageshack also) change them to JPG automatically. I have a feeling the file name isn't correct either. Here is an example $16 sng filename from that \sngimages folder mentioned:

$16 NL Hold'em [turbo - 18 players].bmp

I'm unable to change the position of Debug Display. It will always show at ~x90 y67 on my 1280x800 screen.

I would appreciate some opinions. I'm interested in this software. But still I wonder if it has enough added vaue to buy it. After all, there are a couple of AHK scripts out there which duplicate a lot of the functionality of Poker Shortcuts:

Table Planner: Stars/FTP Planner
Table Highlighting: Table Highlighter
Betting Tools: BetPot
Miscellaneous other functions: Stars/FTP Planner, TimeoutHelper, Stars Assisstant, and possibly some others

Granted it's all integrated and there are some nifty SNG/tourney functions added. But I'm just a cash player, playing 4 tables of either FLHE or PLO. Although I might play some more NLHE later this year. So would you recommend this software to me?

From your debug tooltip, a number of items are not being read correctly from your table. Do you have FTTableRacetrack set as your FT table theme?
