I believe I have solved the mystery. You must have been using very small tables on Poker Stars (e.g. 480 width). The minimum size that PS allows is 485 on my system. If the Table2 setting for a table is smaller than what PS allows, the Shortcuts still tries to make the table smaller every 2-3 seconds, which causes the flicker you see. If you just make your table size 485 or larger, then you shouldn't see the problem (you might have to make it slightly larger if you have different border sizes from mine, but the min size is somewhere around 485).

I had been using 527 width
(Plus a saved layout with tables at 527 width. Not sure if that plays a role at all though. I think it was the same when I hadn't loaded the layout)

'Activate Next Table in Stack' doesn't work for me. I've tried it on FT & PS and nothing happens. My hotkey is not bind to any other action, I have checked that. 'Activate Bottom Table in Stack' works fine.

just want to say how much i love this program. i play up to 12 tables with my Logitech controller (with the move to most urgent table mode), and it works so well. i literally only need to press on button (no movement of wrist) unless i see a flop etc. it has made playing much easier. thanks for this

is it possible to have osd 5 to display at all times (without having to mouse-over it)...then if you wanna refresh the info on another player just mouse-over it.

also regard osd5, if i mouse-over a player it will show the correct BB and M numbers but like 1sec later it will become "0.0 BB M: 0.0"...what gives?

A few comments/questions.

There seems to be some lag between mouse-over table and when commands can be input. I have hot-keyed right mouse button to fold. If I right click within half a second of mousing over a table, it does not register. Table Ninja works perfectly here, as does a custom script I have for FTP. I do have 'auto-activate the table which mouse is over' selected. Oh, and I changed process priority to high for shortcuts.

Is there a way to automatically take a seat when you open a table on Stars?

Is there a way to automatically handle buyin on Pokerstars? This works on FT, but I can't make it buyin for me on Stars.

Oh, and you should make a table opener that works on both sites.

The only problem I am having is "activate next table in stack" and "activate next pending action table" doesn't seem to work.

A couple of people have mentioned the slowness issue that you are seeing. I'm not able to duplicate, as it works instantly here. I would like to set up a TeamViewer session with someone that is having this issue, so that I can troubleshoot it. If you are interested, please pm or email me, and hopefully we could get it resolved quickly.

The buyin should work for you automatically on stars too. Just set up the Auto-rebuy options in the Lobby...options menu...Auto-Rebuy. Then, as you probably know, on the Dialogs tab in Shortcuts... check "Auto Click on Ok in the get chips dialog box"

Poker Stars works very differently, and won't be able to do a Table Opener software for Stars.

Regarding the OSD5 stopping after a second... Is the Stars tooltip popping over the stack size after a second (it shows the player's name a location)? If so, you may have to click the mouse in the player's box to prevent that tooltip from popping up and covering the stack digits.

I just tried your table size of 1000, and I was able to duplicate the problem. Try reducing your table size to below 800 pixels wide and try that. I will fix the problem fix the larger table sizes in next release.

Sorry, not possible with Shortcuts. Shortcuts does not know the hero's position at the table. Besides, I think the poker sites might frown at it, as it may be getting to close to being a "bot".

I usually set up a standard bet size for my button bet, and then use the mouse wheel to adjust slightly for position (inc/dec tab for mouse wheel adjustment).

I have that fear too and I hope it doesn't come out too soon. I have worked on it, and I have some features working with it. As soon as I get PSC out of beta, it will be the #1 priority.

It turns out that the existing FT Shortcuts would never have worked with the new FT Beta (with any reasonable amount of changes)... Their new beta is radically different, even though it doesn't look like it graphically. To make Poker Shortcuts work with Stars I completely re-wrote FT Shortcuts, and it's fortunate that I started the project back last December, else it would have taken a number of months for me to make the changes to make FT Shortcuts compatible with their beta. With Poker Shortcuts, it is a much easier modification.
