Hey man I just tested out the program last night for a little bit. I hope the full version will support auto-registering for other sngs besides hold em on stars.

so the beta trial version only works on play money tables or 1 real money table?


i'm also curious as to how this performs with some overlap, i would use the two stack method but i also have hot keys that move tables of interest to different corners of the screen and this causes slight overlap with the stacks in the middle. I had problems with this in tableninja until i unclicked the 'stacked' layout and switched to overlapping

Haven't had a chance to test the overlap but I wanted to make something clear about this. If you only play one site at a time, overlap is fine.

The overlap I was talking about is where a FTP table overlaps a Stars table. This I have not tested.

Is it just me or is PSC much slower than FTS?

There seems to be a delay between table mouseover and activation. Also when I click xbutton1 to fold there is a 1 secondish delay.

Thanks... it was a lot of work as I had to completely re-write PSC from scratch since Stars is so different from FT. I didn't get much time at the tables in the last few months.

PSC should be faster in most operations, and it is for me here... but I'll look for some possible problem.

MoneyBookers won't allow us to set up an account with them, because we are in the US.

Poker Shortcuts requires that Full Tilt tables be in one stack/cascade and Poker Stars tables be in another stack/cascade. Since each poker client will pop the tables to the top when there is pending action, and they don't know about each other, the requirement is necessary to keep them from poping tables on top of one another when action becomes pending on one of their tables.

I bought PSC yesterday (I haven't used FTS) and played with it for a few hours yesterday on Full Tilt Poker.

General impression:
* I need to get some more sessions in with it but it definitely will be useful for me.
* Some performance issues and some quirks in the beta (which is normal for a beta version).

Set-up:
* FullTiltPoker; PT3; one AHK table planner script; PSC
* 8 tabling 6-max cash games, tiled layout
* A good computer, CPU never got over 10-15%, lots of free RAM.

Some issues:

1) It felt slow and slowed down my game play:

a) because I wasn't used to it, this will definitely go away with a few more sessions
b) It took 0,5 - 2 seconds to activate a table !!! (both when having the option to auto-activate next from stack and the other way to only activate the table under mouse). I haven't used FTS and thus don't know if it used to be faster? Quite often I was already on top of a table and knowing that I need to click raise but had to wait till the table activates and set's the bet amounts etc. When having the auto-activate next table option selected, then sometimes I see 3 tables that need action (they have buttons, but no red box around them) and I know what I need to do on most of them but I have to sit and wait to find out which one gets activated and then deal with this table.

2) When I had "Auto-activate the next table with pending action" selected AND had "Additionally, move mouse to it's home position" selected then the third child option "Also (if above is checked) auto-activate the table under mouse" did NOT have any effect for me, at least I didn't understand it.

When I had all 3 of them selected, a new table (number 1) got activated, mouse jumped there, I did not click anything but instead moved mouse over to some other table (number 2). If I kept the mouse cursor moving then it didn't jump back, but as soon as I stopped the mouse movement, it did not activate the table currently under mouse (number 2), instead the mouse jumps back to the same active table (number 1) that just came from the stack a few seconds ago.

3) The "get chips" dialog stuff didn't suit me. Currently there seem to be two options that affect that.
a) "Auto-click OK on get chips dialog screen" - it always or never auto-clicks the OK in get chips window.
b) "Get more chips" shortkey to open the get chips window.

Please make a new extra option to (c) "auto-click OK in get chips dialog WHEN you manually opened the get chips window". As I'm not familiar with the internals of your app then I don't know if it's easy to detect when I clicked the get more chips button manually, but it should be very easy to detect when the get more chips window is opened through this shortkey combination (b).

I don't want to auto-click OK the initial buy-in window but I want to auto-click OK when I'm already seated and I'm just getting more chips. I would UNCHECK option (a), have a shortkey for (b), CHECK (c) and have the option "Click on YES in Seat Available dialog" CHECKED. So now when I get a new seat from waiting list, it will get auto-opened (but not buy-ed in) and I would do a visual scan do see if I'm satisfied with my seat position and click OK to buy in or Cancel to leave the seat. If I would have option (a) CHECKED then it would insta-buyin me and I could be in BB before I can notice that I have a bad seat and I would like to abandon the table. Then later when I'm already seated in DEEP tables, my buy-in settings get me to 100bb, but quite often I wan't to top up to 200bb so I would click my shortkey for (b) and get auto-top-off to 200bb. Currently, without option (c) I will have to wait for PSC to move the get chips window ~150px upward and only then I can manually click OK <-- waisted seconds .

4) Why is the get chips dialog moved ~150px upward when it appears? Because it's slow for me (takes like 0,5-1 seconds) then quite often I find myself hitting the original OK button location to only find out that it did not work and the OK button jumps up and I have to click it again. Please allow us to disable this auto-moving of get chips dialog.

If I didn't make sense then please ask for clarification .

For each SnG there is a little captured image in the Theme folder of the line of text in the lobby (with the highlight bar on it). To work with another sng one just has to capture this image and put it in this folder. I'm hoping that users will capture the images that they use (if they don't come with PSC) and share them with others. If people send them to me, I'll create a web page to make them available for download. (footnote: the images are different for each of the 2 lobby themes).

i cascade on stars, will PSC be able to autoselect my timebank on 'buried' tables? that's pretty much a deal-maker/breaker. (if i'm reading the 'Misc' tab right it seems like it won't be able to )

I do plan to add the "move to next table with pending action" hotkey back into PSC. I was having a problem with it, and temporarily removed it to avoid confusion/frustration. Look for it in the next beta release.

You could also add an option to register for any Stars SNG visible in the lobby. People could then use the Stars SNG filter, for instance type in "turbo 45" and register for just turbo 45 player sit and gos. Would be a simple alternative way.
Users who need more complicated setups could then go the image capturing route.

Roland's timeouthelper.ahk will do that for you. I still run that script along with PSC, though I don't think I have ever actually timed out and needed it while 8 tabling.
