I'm looking at a poker app called Poker Income. Does anyone know how this app computed the standard deviation for the results you input. Specifically, does it use the maximum likelihood estimator for the stand deviation as given in my Gambling Theory book. is it computing the standard deviation directly directly, or some other method?
