Ok, you found a bug. Make a window group before you go and edit the regex list. Then the exception won't get thrown. The bug will be fixed in v3.0.

Edit: This is a perfect example of why people need to give details about the problem they are having and not just say "I can't get it to work." As soon as you gave me the error message and what you did to make it happen, I was able to address the issue immediately.

okay, so is this what i have to do. set out my tables by going configure>slots, then after i've doen that i go configure>edit regex list and paste the expression in the new expression box????

if this is right, then it's not working for me, i jsut went of pstars and opened a cash table and the table just went into its usual top-letf side of the screen....

hi there, thanks for the script (and for the opener).

little question.

i have my tables in 3 stacks/groups organized by blind level, but, when something interesting occur on a given stack, i would like to pull that table out of the stack to another area of the screen and the returning the table back to the stack when the hand is over, but placemint -correctly- brings the table back as soon as i move it.

so is there a way to set placemint to "ignore" a given screen area, so when i move the tables they stay there, o what the setting would be like, for the "interesting hands group"

thanks again.

kz.

You need to make some single slots that are placeholders for the tables you want to keep out of the main stack. It will get a little interesting since you are using different groups, you will need to the extra slots for each group.

TheIrishThug,

I have a feature request. I would make a donation if you could implement it.

Add the ability to switch between multiple configurations that control the same windows.

Example: I want to 4-table, so in this scenario I have a window group configuration with slots for 4-tabling (slightly larger tables). Then I could also have a configuration for say, 6-tabling, that recognizes the same window titles, but uses different sized window slots to allow for more tables on the screen.

A hotkey for this type of thing would be great, perhaps the hotkey cycles through your customized list of window groups. So I would create "4-table", "6-table", and "9-table" window groups, that recognize the same window titles. The hotkey would would allow me to quick-switch which one of those window group configurations is active.

I'm sure others would love this feature as well...

Thanks.

Kwantum,
There is a recent file menu that lets you select one of the four most recently loaded configurations.

luvinurmoney,
Please don't abbreviate error messages, the more details you give me the more I have to help you. Did you extract both files into the same folder? Do you have .NET 2.0 installed on your computer?

OK I apologize for being dumb ahead of time but what two files do I need to extract? and I don't think I have .NEt 2.0 installed.

Ok well that was simple enough, I extracted the two files and got it to open for me duh lol. Not quite sure how to work it yet as it all looks so confusing and haven't got a chance to try it out with ftp being down

It looks intimidating, but it is not very complicated. Read the Quick Setup Guide and it will take you through the basics.

That's sort of useful, but requires me to open up PlaceMint, which I don't wanna do when I'm setting up multitable HU matches or want to quickly switch configs.

Any chance you could make the most recent list a part of the right-click menu when I click PlaceMint in the system tray? Or a hotkey to cycle through the most recent configs would work too.

Please please please

Hey guys. Thread is huge so please let me off for not solving this myself.

I usually play 9 tables with slight overlap on one monitor and am looking for software that can do the following:

123
456
789

These are my SnGs in order of how they opened. Now if I bust from the 3rd one I want the remaining tables to move up the screen to this position:

124
567
89

Is this possible? Oh I'm on FTP btw. I haven't even looked to see if this software works on there but I'm still looking for a solution regardless, and I would likely pay for it to be developed.

Adding it to the system tray seems like it would be doable.

Nice. Let me know if you want me to do some beta testing. I'll ship you a donation on FTP when you get around to adding that! Thanks.

OK so I've pissed away a few hours of my time and it's time to ask.

I don't understand anything I've read at all in this thread. I don't know what I'm doing with the regex, hotkeys, regular expressions etc etc. I feel completely lost.

I filled in the coordinates of my tables quickly enough but nothing is happening. Its like I haven't pressed start.

Edit: If you look up to post 1991, this is the ONLY thing I want and I have no use for anything else.

Edit 2: Also can someone confirm this is done automatically/refreshes itself often? I'll still be happy to have press one button though, as I'm doing it the old fashioned way atm.

MetalSpork,
Have you downloaded the regex list from the website? Once you have done that, go to the Options window and set the path of that file. Then when you go to the Configure window, the regex list will be populated with a list of expressions that should match the window titles. Check off the expression you want, save and exit the Configuration window.

PlaceMint automatically refreshes itself, the default is 5 times a second.

I can't work out how to download anything other than Placemint on the wiki page. I feel stupid after everyone else seemed to just know what to do with no instructions lol
