I seem to have a problem with PlaceMint losing tables on Stars.

What happens is I'll start a set of SnGs and everything is working correctly. As they pop up PlaceMint stacks them and the main window will show like Stack (24/30). I can move the tables around by hotkeys to other slots and everything seems fine.

Then as I play it just seems to lose track of the tables and the number will go down until it's eventually Stack (0/30) even though I still have tables going so I can no longer move tables out of the stack by hotkey.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what may be going on? I quickly scanned through this thread and didn't find any mention of a problem like this. I'm using Win7 with aero, HEM and Table Ninja while running PlaceMint.

Mine does reload the stats pretty well. Yours doesnt?

Dont suppose anyone fancies sending me their setup for say 6 tables on a 22" or something or 8? Preferably with like 2 big and 4 small sections or something?

Last week or so mine has stopped recognizing Stars SnGs. Does anyone know of how I need to change the regex or can anyone post one that currently works? TYVM. I love this software.

Could anyone explain what should I do to resize a window with an hotkey?
I'm sorry but I can't use this software, so far.

Example: I hit Alt+Q and the window on foreground (say a Firefox window) resizes to 680x550 pixels.

SteveM & kkcountry,
Please follow the instructions on the wiki for getting a regex fixed.

GySgt Hartman,
That's not really how PlaceMint works. A window always needs to be in a slot for PlaceMint to work with it. And you always need to specify a regular expression for what windows will be placed in slots. You could make one slot to be the size you specified, but if you wanted the window to be a different size at some other point, you would need to make a slot that is that different size. And then you could use hotkey swapping to switch between the two. You can not just take any random foreground window and resize.

Hi,

I have the tables tiled (see the config file below), and have the "ripple forward" checked. When a new table opens, it first appears in a somewhat random slot (a table is already there), then it is normally moved to the last available slot, but
1. sometimes the new table stays there and the old table is moved the last available slow, which is annoying, but it is ok. I just need to swap them.

2. sometimes both the new table and old table just stay there, and neither of them is moved to the last available slot. I am not able to use mouse to move one of the tables to a open slot. I have to pause and restore placemint to re-allocate all the tables to all slots, and the re-allocation seems random(?)

is there a way to avoid the #2 scenario? thanks!

here is my config file (just for this group):

1. Do you have Swap on New Find enabled? Unless you do, a new table, should never take the slot of an existing window.
2. This sounds like you don't have enough slots. Is the new table being added to the list? Unless you are using a stack by changing the max window count, two windows can not be in the same slot.

thank you for your reply.

1. no, "Swap on New Find" is unchecked.
2. i have 18 slots for the group, and "Max window count" is 1 for all slots. i will try to add more slots to see if it helps.

#2 scenario only happens to the first slot; the old table is in the first slot, and when the new table opens on this 1st slot, it sometimes stays on it. basically both tables are in this slot, until I pause/restore placemint.

what is "the tree view"? the placemint main window? it has a list of groups, including "ftp2"(the config in my previous post). if I expand ftp2 node, all sub-nodes are empty. is it normal?

Yes, the main window. If all the nodes are empty it means that no windows are actually being watched. Did you just check that now, or do you mean that is what it looks like when you are using PlaceMint?

I have the latest version of PM and am using the regex and slot template files from the sourceforge website and i'm currently only playing on Stars.

I have 6 slots, 4 on my main 22" screen and 2 on my 2nd 17" screen. When i open a new table everything works fine, all 6 tables go to their correct slots. However, the 2 that open on my 17" monitor actually open as smaller in size than the 4 tables on my 22" screen. This is despite all 6 slots being the same dimensions (i created slot 1 then just clone it 5 times and moved them into position).

The second problem i have is that if I coincidently resize a table PM doesn't automatically resize it back. I've tried enabling and disabling every option i can but nothing fixes it. Its not a massive problem because i simply drag the table out of its position and PM will automatically put it back in its slot in its original and correct size.

First off i love the software! Thanks IrishThug!

Rush tables don't seem to work with placemint though. The countdown screen before you actually start playing works, but once you actually post the blinds and start playing the tables can't be moved or repositioned using placemint.

Here is the title line if someone could help me add to the regex list.

Swiftly Tilting (6 Max) - $1/2 - No Limit Hold'em - Entry 1 - Logged In As xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks in advance for any help.

The Full Tilt RegEx catches them fine while you are sitting out/about to play then loses them while playing.

I tried using
Code:
overlay$
and the standard Full Tilt RegEx got jumps

So examples....pre/post

Code:
Apollo - $0.10/$0.25 - No Limit Hold'em - Logged In As username
ahk_class QWidget
during rush

Code:
Apollooverlay
ahk_class Afx:00400000:20:00010005:00000000:00000000
This is why rush tables play up.

I would just join them all at the same time, or one at a time then sitout and position them how I would like them. Then sit back in.
