I've tried pick and mixing a bunch with no luck.

Great app. I noticed that about 10 pages back someone asked about the refresh on stars. When I move one table to a new lot, it appears that every table then checks itself for size and exact location again even though only one (maybe two windows if they swapped) have actually changed. Are you still looking to optimize this? Greatly appreciated if you can.

This is the stars regex I am using for MTSNG's it is correctly grabbing both mini and full window titles. As well as grabbing the Detached Controls.

Full Example:

$1.20 USD No Limit Hold'em - Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $10/$20 - Logged In as username


Mini Example in a few different sizes:

$1.20 USD No Limit Hold'... - Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $10/$20 - Logged In as username
$1.20 USD N... - Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $25/$50 - Logged In as username
$1.20 ... - Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $25/$50 - Logged In as username
$1.... - Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $25/$50 - Logged In as username
Tournament 227652320 Table 1 - Blinds $25/$50 - Logged In as username


Detached Controls Example:

I would like to separate the Detached Controls from my Tables group with a different regex.

Thanks for this great resource. I have experienced a problem using it however.

Whenever a SNG table opens, it is placed in one of the slots. However, instead of resizing to fit the slot, only a portion of the regular size table is visible in the new smaller slot. This makes the table unplayable. I have tried to open placemint, pause it, and unpause it once I have more tables open, but this causes the program to not recognize any of the tables. How can I fix this problem?

You have to be somewhat ******ed not to figure this out in less then 5 seconds. Took me about 0.3.

Just wanted to add that all my problems with Windows 7 randomly just appeared once and all is fixed now .

Oh one thing thou. Now when I exit tables the slot I exit it on get replaced by another one. I like to swap (and keep that function) but I guess this is called something else?

I'm guessing you are playing on stars search this thread for 'Send F5' you should find the solution.

You may have set placemint to resize your tables smaller, on stars this can cause it to display a different window title that may not be matched by your regex. (See my post 3 above for a regex that will catch both)

This is all only relevant if your problems are with stars.

from what i read, this is similar to stars planner, right? anything make it better (im assuming its less buggy)?

can you make one layout that treats all sites we play at as the same? so they just mix in as they pop up (tournament play)?

sorry, i read many pages, and it seems the more i read the more confused i got. you guys recommend using all allsnap to make original layout like we did with starts planner?

Yes, you can have any number of sites controlled in one group. You can use all snap, but using the sample slots with the arrow buttons can also be helpful.

i got a new monitor bigger and higher res .. and setting up planner again made some old issues resurface...

awesome, the issue im having with stars planner, is the tables randomly jump around, usually when click on the table or the stars lobby (lobby issue only happens on stars and i was never able to fix it in past, the random hopping i did, though cant remember how), though if all tables are exactly the same size and exactly lined up it happens less, but most always if i pull up the lobby.

not sure if i will have the same issues with this or not, i mean, maybe it has something to do with my OS, settings, or vid card or something, i dont know.

but def should be worth a test run. esp since this obv still has support (im thinking stars planners is mostly dead).

also it isnt working for stars (small tables , i play tourneys), i will try to figure it out.

cant figure out how to get stars tourneys to work (cash tables work), i read the wiki and all the symbols and stuff im not familiar with, just confusing me as of now. i really dont have the time to screw to learn all that stuff right now.

maybe someone can help me..

Download the regular expression list from the website. It has a number of expressions that will work with a number of poker sites. If you are still having problems after that, you can PM me and we can setup a time to do a personal support session.

There is no performance hit for having the slots different sizes.

i have downloaded the expression list, i guess it just didn't work for stars tourneys. not sure why.

but, if no one has an expression that works on stars tourneys for me, then i need to make a long list of all the windows titles for all the tourney tables through the day? is there an easy way to do that?

i am assuming PMing you wont do any good without a list to make a new expression, right?

i guess i wont have much of a choice other than to make sense of that very confusing wiki. was just hoping before i dove into it, someone would share their fix. .

i should be able to figure it out, its just gonna be time consuming.

Some sections of the wiki are very verbose as they describe all of the options that can be set. However many of the defaults are fine. The instructions I told you to look at is just a short list on one page linked to on the main page of the wiki.

How or where do i ge tthe regex and other stuff for thigns like full tilt pop up window to join table and yahoo messenger. THe ftp pop up for joining table would be nice as it always gets hidden behind the ftp lobby.

ok is same tign i read,, i did psot asking if anyone had i thought and i dont know how to sue otehr tools listed,, so what can i do? i seen mostly thigns for stars otehr stuff,, maybe i missed.

You don't need to use any of the helpful links. You can just hand copy the window titles to make your list. AHK Window Info is a very straight forward AHK script that can be used to copy a window title to the clipboard.

It works with AP NLH cash game table but it does not work with Sit and go tourney. Can someone help me fix it. Thank You
